Hotel Fujita Fukui

A cosy hotel with really friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room was a little small compared to what we have been used to. But the helpfulness and friendliness of the Hotel staff made up for everything. Air conditioning on the first night was a little hot (we went to Fukui in the summer time), but was OK on the 2nd night. You can choose your own pillow and amenities (shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, cotton buds, sewing kit etc) from the 5th floor - so funny! But reception is on the 5th floor (not the 1st). The hotel thoughtfully provided a laundry drying rack so you can dry laundry in the room. The shampoo, conditioner and body foam (made with Royal Jelly) made my hair really soft and manageable! Very convenient to drive to Tojinbo Cliffs too!
Toyoko Inn Fukui Ekimae

It was my first stay in Fukui. Convenient near the station, reasonable price, and comfortable space with different layouts from other hotels. However, the toilet in the bathroom was small, and somehow it was unnatural inclination in the toilet seat and it felt unsettled. It is no problem that the minimum amenities are required, but I thought that it was not less than one bath towel and one hand towel. And it was a breakfast setting, but I thought that it was not necessary to be that content (including the amount) even after the corona disturbance. You will be pleased to discount 100 yen or 200 yen. I made a reservation because the price setting was cheap, but I don't think I will make a reservation if it is a normal price. It became a good study.
Dormy Inn Premium Fukui Natural Hot Spring

Located in a downtown area about a 10-minute walk from Fukui Station, there are many one-way streets and crowded streets, and the road to the multi-storey car park behind the hotel is a bit difficult. Check-in is manned and payment is machine style. Have free coffee in the front lobby and go to your room. The room is a general Dormy Inn Standard, with a certain size and no feeling of oppression. There are about 30 lockers for the 9th floor large communal bath, 10 washrooms in the bathroom, an indoor bath and a sauna bath for about 7 people, and an open-air bath and a cherry blossom bath for about 4 people outside. Sakuragi along the Asuwa River seen from the bathroom window was in full bloom. Free ice cream and unreasonable lactic acid beverages are placed at the bathhouse by time of day. Breakfast was on the 1st floor, with Japanese and Western buffets, Echizen soba noodles, and local dishes such as Atsuage and Sesame Tofu from Eiheiji Temple. I was able to spend comfortably with stable Dormy Inn Standard, room, bath and breakfast.
Hotel Riverge Akebono

It may vary depending on the room, but the 50-inch TV was very nice. I've stayed in various hotels, including business hotels, but this was my first time seeing a 50-inch TV. Fukui Prefecture only has two commercial broadcasting stations, but there were many commercial channels available, probably because it was cable TV. Perhaps because it's not geared towards business travelers, there were no single seats in the breakfast area, so even though it was crowded, I had to use a table that was meant for two people, which made me feel bad for eating there. I was bothered by the fact that the toilet seat in the room was dirty before use. I was surprised to see a person with tattoos taking a bath, but it made me wonder if this is also a form of diversity that needs to be understood. I was bothered by people talking loudly at night, probably because it was the weekend and there were restaurants nearby. There was a guide to the elevator when I checked in, but there was no guide to the stairs, and I would have liked it if they had been there, as I usually use the stairs rather than the elevator.
Fukui Manten Hotel Ekimae

Advantages: It's very close to the station, very convenient, and there are many gourmet restaurants around. Disadvantages: The rooms are small and there are rooms on the tram track side. After the Shinkansen is opened in March, the rooms on this side will be very noisy. Also, remember that the check-out time is 10:00. Unlike many hotels where the check-out time is 11:00, it is an hour earlier, so remember it is 10:00. I stayed for three nights and because I didn't notice that I checked out at 10:00, I paid an extra 1,100 yen when I checked out at 11:00. No one will remind you, so you have to remember it yourself. There are also some problems with the programming of the two elevators, and waiting for the elevator is a common thing.
Hotel Econo Fukui Station
4.1/544 Reviews
The location is very convenient from Fukui Station. I moved by limousine bus between Komatsu Airport and Fukui Station, but there is a roof from the bus stop to the hotel, and you can reach it without getting wet even in rain. Although the building itself is old, the room did not feel old enough and was able to stay without any inconvenience. I was personally happy to see YouTube on TV. The exact price is unknown because it was a reservation with a set with a ticket, but it was able to finish it quite cheaply.
Centurion Hotel Villa Suite Fukui Ekimae

We were on a 15day holiday in Japan and stayed 1 night here while in Fukui. Glad we chose this hotel. We drove 2 cars. Hotel parking cost 500Yen overnight. It is very near the train station and we could find restaurants for dinner. It was a good stopover in Fukui. The rooms seems to be half renovated. While the bathroom and vanity top seems really outdated, the beds and carpet were new. The 2 queensized bed was so comfortable and very spacious for our family. The hotel has no kitchen and does not have a breakfast option. There was a arcade section with claw machines that could keep the kids entertained. This seems to be a family oriented hotel. We would like to thank the frontdesk Manager for helping to send a luggage that we left behind to Nagoya for us. We could not find a email to your website. Thank you for all your help, please note that we have paid TaQbin in full as well. Hope the hotel will read this. Overall, would recommend this hotel for family.
HOTEL ROUTE INN OOITAKAHAMA
4.1/511 Reviews
It opened in the summer, so I was curious and stayed at the grave this time. The facility is very beautiful because it was just completed. The room is 21 ℃ This warmth without air conditioning. It was very helpful. It was cold in the countryside, but I didn't feel the cold at all. The room is not small and just a good size. Room clothes are hard. It's a little uncomfortable. The pot that boils hot water has fingerprints and is used before? It was very filthy. About the public bath. Electricity is erased for power saving. It's a little dark. One bathroom. There is no open-air bath. There is enough space. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap have similar colors in bottles. It is very difficult to discriminate because the characters are small for the elderly. I want you to make it easier to discriminate, such as making the color of the bottle easy to understand. I felt that consideration was necessary. 3 I think it's a little dark and small if it's lined up. It's okay for young people. The bottles in the rooms were colored easily. I want you to improve. Breakfast. There are many cold things that are awake. There are many choices. White rice is bad. I want you to make it delicious because it is in the countryside. Coffee was not delicious. The coffee in the machine in the lobby was delicious. Very good because it is new, but the improvement is because it is a business hotel.
Comfort Inn Fukui

The location is good if the price is cheap and you go by car. There are several restaurants, supermarkets and bakery within walking distance, so you don't have to eat. Breakfast buffet is also quite delicious. Maybe you should make a reservation directly from the titanium in page a while ago.
Courtyard Fukui

Hotel is just outside the station so very easy to find. We had a corner room, very well designed, all amenities needed, smart TV, nespresso, instant tea and coffee. I love the label on the light switches so that you know what light will be on or off. And the View! You get in the hotel on the 3rd floor but you need to take a lift for 10 more floors to find the check-in counter. And then you go up for you room. And in Fukui you dont have tall buildings so you can see the mountains far away. Impressive. Then the food, BF was ”simple” but had all you need including Dinosaurs Nuggets! Kids loved them! Western food, Japanese food, perfect for a multi-cultural family like us. Dinner was not simple, it was just very delicious, staff was new, hotel just opened but salad, the soup was terrific, meat was too small as our 3 yo ate most of it, I had the risotto, I wanted to eat 2 kilos of it. Desserts also were delicious. Definitely THE place to stay in Fukui. We will go back hotel is great and only 1h30 from Kyoto so for travelers looking at exploring another area of Japan, this is not far at all.
