I recently stayed at this hotel and was very impressed with the room. The room is spacious with a studio-style layout, featuring a sleeping area, living space, small kitchenette, and one bathroom. The in-room amenities are nearly complete — it comes with a mini fridge and other essentials, making it comfortable for both short and extended stays. I booked a sea view room and the view was absolutely stunning. The location is also very convenient, only a 3-5 minute drive to Kuantan city center when there’s no traffic. Finding food is easy too, with several restaurants just a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great. The only downsides were that check-in took a bit longer due to a long queue, and parking was a little challenging since it was very crowded, likely because of the weekend. Other than that, there wasn’t much to complain about. Overall, the hotel offers comfort, complete facilities, and a strategic location. This will definitely be one of my favorite stays whenever I’m in Kuantan.

This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.

We arrived at the hotel around 8:00 PM and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and greeted us with a smile. The hotel itself looked pleasant, and the room was in good condition upon arrival. We also requested extra towels, which were delivered promptly without any issues. However, there are several areas that need improvement. The toilet appeared to have a leakage issue, and the air-conditioning was not cold enough despite the temperature being set low. During breakfast, food items were not replenished quickly, and tables were not cleaned promptly, making it difficult to find a clean table. Guests also had to look for their own cutlery, including spoons, forks, and tissues. The breakfast selection was quite limited, although the food served was tasty. On a positive note, the check-out process was quick and hassle-free. The hotel’s location is also convenient, being close to East Mall Kuantan. As a hotel rated 5 stars, I expected a higher level of maintenance and service, especially in terms of room facilities and breakfast operations. While the stay was comfortable overall, there is definitely room for improvement to meet 5-star expectations.

This made moving around much easier and helped make the short stay more enjoyable. The room was one of the highlights of the stay. It was clean, comfortable, and well arranged. The bed was cosy and provided a good night’s rest. The pillows and bedding were soft, fresh, and suitable for a relaxing overnight stay. The room design was simple but functional, with enough space to move around comfortably. Everything felt neat and properly prepared before arrival, which showed that the housekeeping team had done a good job. The bathroom was also clean and practical. The water pressure was good, and the basic amenities were sufficient for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness is always one of the most important factors in any hotel stay, and AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan managed to meet expectations well. There were no major issues, and the room felt properly maintained throughout the stay. Another positive point was the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The hotel provided a good environment to rest after a busy day. Whether for a short business trip, weekend getaway, or family overnight stay, the hotel offers the right balance of comfort and convenience. It does not feel overly complicated, which is a strength. Everything is straightforward, clean, and reliable. The staff also deserve recognition. They were polite, responsive, and ready to assist when needed. Good service does not always need to be dramatic; sometimes, simple efficiency and professionalism are enough to create a strong impression. The team at the hotel managed to deliver that well. Overall, my stay at AC Hotel by Marriott Kuantan was a good one. The hotel offered a clean room, comfortable bed, convenient location, friendly service, and a relaxing atmosphere. It is a hotel I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and pleasant stay in Kuantan. For travellers who value cleanliness, comfort, and practical convenience, this hotel is definitely a solid choice. It was a happy and comfortable overnight stay, and I would not hesitate to return again in the future.

I enjoyed my stay here. I appreciate the stylish lobby decor, and the receptionist staff was very polite and friendly. The kids club is wonderful, we played PlayStation and did some coloring. There's a gym nearby, and the toilet at the kids club is spotless. The hotel is extremely kids friendly, and my children loved everything about it. My room was clean, and the housekeeping team did a fantastic job with the cleaning. The breakfast is delicious. ❤

The view here is really beautiful — I was lucky enough to get the carpet cloud view, memang cantik sangat especially from my room on the 43rd floor. The room itself was comfortable and the overall atmosphere feels quite premium. A few things can be improved though. Inside the room, the phone line was almost non-existent and the WiFi was quite weak/slow. Another confusing part is the lift area — once you come out from the elevator, there’s no proper signage or directory showing whether your room is on the left or right side, and no room number guide on each floor, so it can be quite confusing at first. Parking-wise I can’t comment much since I used the valet service, which was convenient. Breakfast was okay with quite a lot of choices. If you’re paying during walk-in, it’s around RM80 per person. Overall, still a nice stay mainly because of the amazing view and cool weather.

Really liked the amenities they provided and room was clean. However the downside is that the lift take too long as our floor was 23rd, as we checkout, we were nearly late as we waited 20min to arrive at the lobby. Overall good and would book this stay again.

Overall, the stay was comfortable with a nice environment and pleasant view. The unit is modern, clean, and well-designed, making it a relaxing place to stay. The living area and bedroom were cozy, and everything felt quite new. The unit comes with 2 bathrooms (with shower) and 1 additional toilet, which is very convenient for groups. Basic amenities like shampoo and bathroom sets were provided. One downside was the jacuzzi, which takes quite a long time to heat up. We had to wait until the next morning for the water to become properly hot, so it’s not suitable if you plan to use it immediately. There are a few F&B outlets downstairs, making it easy to get food nearby. The parking fee was confusing — we were charged RM20 even though the signboard showed RM10. We parked around 2:30 PM and checked out at 10 AM the next day, so clearer pricing would help. Another issue was transport. It was not convenient — we tried booking Grab for about 10 minutes, but no drivers accepted our ride from Antara to First World. Overall: Comfortable stay with good environment and facilities, but improvements needed for jacuzzi heating, parking clarity, and transport accessibility.

One-night last-minute stay at The Kasturi Resort, Cherating with my husband and two kids. First time here and overall satisfied. Calm, relaxing resort and we enjoyed the spa. However, there is no kids’ club, so it may be better suited for couples or families whose kids enjoy quieter activities. Still a pleasant and refreshing short stay.

The environment here is great, with a pool and a gym. The hotel also provides toothbrushes and toothpaste, and the rooms are very clean. I highly recommend staying here! The price is good, and it's located halfway up Genting. You can take the cable car directly to Genting Highlands. The only downside is that the road to the hotel is a bit secluded.
