GGuest UserComing for birthday celebrations and special remarks any special arrangements can be prepare prior arriving however no respond from hotel at all. Staff here are not attentive enough and not quite hospitality orientated. On the day we checking in, lift is under repair and we are with our luggage and our floor is 3rd floor, none of the staff offering help at all. And dint give any alternative just ask us to wait till lift is resume. So giving a very bad impression at the first sign. Not sure how they claim the best service hotel. Location are right the middle of town si this is the plus points. Food wise do not expect much as the breakfast option are kinda limited and chicken also bit overcooked bit hard to chew.
UUmmi TravellerOverall, we had a pleasant stay at Oakwood Cameron Highlands. The hotel is new, clean, and in a strategic location, just a short walk to the night market and Tokyo Town. Our only downside was that the lobby, lift area, and breakfast space felt a bit cramped, especially during peak hours.
We booked a room with a parking view, but later found out that rooms with “Premier” in the room type offer the beautiful golf course view. So if you’re booking, it’s worth choosing a Premier room for a much nicer scenery. Overall, it was still a comfortable stay and we’d consider coming back.
GGuest UserExcellent, we'll definitely be back! My friends and I had a great time, and the food wasn't expensive. The only thing is the paint smell in the room was a bit strong, which I hope they can improve. Also, there aren't many entertainment facilities. Keep up the good work!
AAnonymous UserEverything was good. Nice clean room. Decent gym.
Looking for my room at first was confusing however. My room was on the 23A floor on the C block. I went to the 23rd.
The reception guy could've stressed that it's on ”23A”. How many times do people go to the ”23A” floor & expect everyone to just get it??
Those at the receptionist counter, here's a free advice, train more & learn how to be more courteous & know how to offer an apology to customers
GGuest UserAfter 20 years away from Cameron Highlands, I recently stopped by Copthorne just to charge my EV. Last night, I had the opportunity to stay overnight in Cameron Highlands and chose this hotel because of its convenient location. I received a free room upgrade from a superior room to a deluxe room. Thanks, Naziera, you made this the best moment for me after not setting foot in Cameron for 20 years.
The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options. The location is super strategic, close to Kea Farm and Laman Kak Engku. It was excellent! I will definitely repeat my stay here in the future. I slept soundly.
Aaina isaReally great! Booked a pool terrace room, so convenient for the kids to go swimming. Just a slight sandy feel on the floor when we first checked in. Will definitely repeat for a 3-day, 2-night stay. The service was friendly and helpful too.
AAnonymous UserThe studio room is very comfy, nice and clean. The Antara link bridge is about 15 mins walking distance. Its not steep as there are escalators when going up.
I don't mind to staying here and take grab go up genting. It's cheap.
The room with a big balcony, you can dine outside if u wanna enjoy some fresh and cold air. It also has a kitchenette and washing machine with dryer.
It about 15 restaurants below the building. Haidilao is going to open here soon.
In overall, sure we will be staying here again.
Note: from genting after 10pm is hard to get a grab downhill. The drivers already leave genting i believe. But it's still fine with a 15 min walk back.
GGuest UserThis is our first stay in ion delemen for 4D3N. The unit is very spacious and clean however we faced some difficulties as below.
1. Broken bedframe: One of the room bed is broken and we have reported to the reception immediately however no action was taken nor any updates was received. There are difficulties every time when we sleep on it as it is unstable.
2. Wifi connection: Throughout our stay, we unable to connect to hotel WiFi and no action was taken to rectify it.
3. Noisy door: There's a very annoying sound every time when we open or close the room door.
GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience!
We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.
GGuest UserThe suite was good and spacious. It has balcony and the facility around that area is quite good. The view also nice. There is a few cafe to choose from, and retail outlet like The News and KK Mart outlet. There are basic room item provided such as iron and iron board, slippers, toothbrush, soap & Shampoo, kettle, coffee & tea, mugs, TV, safety box and hair dryer, but there is no mineral/drinking water, small fridge or microwave provided. However the check in is quite tricky as you may find the person arranging check in staying in the alley nearby The News outlet, there is no proper reception counter available. The customer service will not answer your call. They only reply via what's app so do not bother to call, you may get scolded by the lady who answered. This can be said as not a hotel service, so do not expect that kind of services from this provider. It is more like AirBnB style. However it was a nice stay just during the night i don't know why there is strange shouting and yelling and disturbing sound once in a while came out from nowhere. so it's quite disturbing my sleep a few time wake up in a shock hearing something unwelcoming sound. But if your ear is sound proof while sleeping i think it will not becoming a problem to you.
