Our stay in the Coast Suite was great! It had two separate rooms, which was perfect for our group as we had different schedules and didn't disturb each other. We shared a bathroom. The hotel facilities were complete, and toiletries were promptly replenished. We noticed the toilet was leaking after checking in, and maintenance sent someone to fix it right away. The Indian housekeeping staff was polite and enthusiastic, and the front desk receptionists were attentive and responsible.

This hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of George Town. It's directly across from the bus terminal and offers easy walking access to the Seven Streets Market (Chew Jetty), Kimberley Street Night Market, and the Street Art area. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the facilities are comprehensive. It's definitely our top choice for accommodation when visiting Penang and comes highly recommended.

I wasn't expecting this level of comfort and amenities for this price. The room was very clean and had everything you need, even an EV charger. I managed to get help from security to help access it. There's convenience store next to reception too, if you need to grab something. The location is perfect too, it's a walking distance to many eateries and bar. I'm not sure if this constitutes a negative but I find the parking very narrow. You'll need to make a few spiral towards level 4 and every point of the way, I felt I will probably scratch the car along the way. Even the turning once you reach the actual carpark is very tight.

View from the apartment was amazing and just need to look through the window and you see the blue sky and ocean. Just that the apartment they gave us has 3 rooms and if you book 2 rooms they will locked up the one of the room. The issue is that when we checked in they just let the 3rd room open and we thought we could used it until the security guard came and knock the door and said he has to lock up one of the rooms.

Lobby: smooth check in. Well decorated with modern style. Room: clean, but a little bit small for families with 5 members. Beautiful seaview. Breakfast: limited varieties. Cons: requested iron but only received after calling for the 3rd time.

Although the hotel doesn't look new or modern, the interior is mostly wooden and painting. The hotel room was very clean especially the toilet. The breakfast buffet is delicious with a variety of choices.

I only stayed one night. The hotel has a nice view and is on a high floor. Breakfast was quite good. The bathroom only had a shower, no handheld showerhead. Even with all the lights on, the room was still very dim, which felt a bit off. Overall, the hygiene was good. The hotel's location is excellent, and the service attitude was good.

We stayed in G Hotel Kelawai for 5 nights. The hotel is between two shopping malls - Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon. Excellent location. Another hotel nearby (about 400m) is G Hotel Gurney. Both the hotels' guests are given the option to use each other's facilities and guests are given the flexibility to have their breakfast at either hotel without any advanced notice. By the way, G Hotel Gurney is the older hotel and is directly connected to Gurney Plaza, whereas G Hotel Kelawai is less crowded and quieter, which we liked. The breakfast variety is acceptable for guests who are on a short stay. Out of curiosity, we wanted to try out the breakfast at G Hotel Gurney but were prevented from doing so because of the heavy rain. Upon request, hotel guests can commute between the two by the hotels' buggy. The 25-m swimming pool and gym in Kelawai were hardly used. Clean and well-maintained rooms.

I have upgrade my room to 1bedroom suite. My family and I love the room. My kids enjoy the bathtub. Hotel location is good too as it is near to the airport. It only cost me about RM14 by taking grab from hotel to airport. Will definitely book again..

Staying at The Royale Chulan Penang at the end of the year, I was immediately struck by the hotel's exquisite environment. From the thoughtful guidance during check-in to her meticulous assistance when I checked out on December 13th, everything made me feel incredibly comfortable. Before I left, she proactively helped me call a taxi and confirmed the vehicle details; these thoughtful gestures alleviated the fatigue of travel. ”Malaysian Hospitality” is not just a slogan in Malaysia; it's a genuine sentiment that Devika embodied through her actions. This warm service added an invaluable memory to my trip to Penang. Facilities: Good Cleanliness: Good Environment: Good Service: Excellent, especially the female staff member named Devika in the lobby. She speaks Chinese and provided exceptionally good and attentive service.
