Great service and breakfast, but noisy nights ruined our stay The hotel has a very central location, and the absolute highlight was the staff – incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of high-quality options. Unfortunately, one major downside significantly impacted our experience: the location of our room. It faced the main square in Östersund, which is surrounded by several bars. Although these venues were supposed to close around 22:00 or midnight, this was not enforced. On the weekends, one of the bars even operated as a nightclub. Because the room was very hot, we had to keep the window open during the night – but the noise from the square made it nearly impossible to sleep. Sadly, this meant very little rest during our main vacation, and as a result, we would not choose this hotel again for our next visit to Östersund.

Simple, clean, in convenient location. The fact that you need to bring your own bedsheet should be noted. Service hours of front desk are rather limited, but check in and check out via keybox worked well. Odd: as I checked in and out outside service hours, I couldn’t pay at the front desk. Should be no problem, as I had secured the booking with my credit card. Nonetheless the hotel requested payment by bank transfer instead of simply using the credit card already provided…

Just in the center of the town, this town is small, with a population of 5 to 60,000. You can ski in winter and watch the aurora. Few Chinese tourists should know and come here.

The room facilities are very good and practical. The scenery outside the balcony is very unique. The entire hotel is large, clean and tidy. The hot spring and sauna facilities are unique in this small town. The breakfast is also very rich!

The breakfast is very rich, the room facilities are relatively leaky, the location is relatively remote, not close to the lake, the spa needs to be charged extra
