We used this hotel as a base for exploring the west coast of Mallorca on our motorbike. We had a good size room overlooking the pool with a comfortable bed and a nice sized bathroom. They even suggested parking our bike in the garage, which was nice. We stayed half board and found the food choice to be good for both breakfast and dinner, even providing an early breakfast on the day we left. All the staff were very friendly and helpful
Magalluf Playa Apartments - Adults Only

I recently stayed at the Magaluf Playa apartments and their were a few pros and cons to the stay and amenities. The pros of this apartment was the location around a 3/4 min walk to the *****, the pool was a clean and decent size, reception staff were friendly. The cons : firstly the minute we arrived we were made aware the majority of people staying in this apartment block were males and I had booked separately to my friends and was to stay in another apartment block which I was not aware of until I arrived. So when booking call the apartments to put the rooms close together as you have to walk past the pool to get to each block. The rooms had a very basic level of cleaning , it wasn’t dirty but not spotless. The bathroom produced a rotten smell from the drains which filled the apartment with the same smell. What made this worse was the air conditioner did not work , so it was extremely warm in the rooms with a terrible smell. Apart from this the rooms themselves were okay and the kitchenette was equipped fairly. Although I found a contact lens in the kitchen sink and then later one attached to a drinking glass. The lifts were also extremely small you could fit 2/3 people maximum. We did not feel comfortable reporting these issues to the reception as on the information sheet provided, their was a list of charges for broken items or services, it was stated maintenance would be charged €60 per hour. We were worried I would be charged for the checks to the smell and air con, so we did not report this. We also were charged €200 euro deposit on arrival and were told we would receive it at the end of the stay. To mention , the other part of the group were staying in block 2 which was pleasant and spacious, I would opt to stay in that block over block 1.
Leonardo Royal Hotel Mallorca Palmanova Bay

Stayed for 6 days in an apartment type room with 2 and 5 year old children. I would like to visit again. good 1. It is true that there is a slope from the sea to the hotel, but it is a distance that even a 2-year-old child can walk. 5 minutes walk. 2. Stayed in room 776. The room was an apartment type with a kitchen and it was easy to live. The equipment is basically complete. If you tell the receptionist, they will give you a detergent and a sponge. Beach towels are rented with a deposit of 10 euros per sheet. If you want to change it, they will respond quickly. The deposit will be returned on the last day. No seasoning. 3. Dinner is a buffet with many items. 2 year olds are free and it was about 30 euros for 2 people. I felt that cospa was good. 4. A convenience store-like supermarket is next to it, 3 seconds on foot. 5. ALDI, a regular supermarket, is about 15 minutes away on foot. There are slopes and it was difficult for a 2-year-old to walk, but no problem for adults. 6. Marineland? 10 minutes by taxi to the small aquarium. If there are many people, it is more profitable than the local bus. It's a small aquarium, but there were dolphin and bird shows, and the children really enjoyed themselves. 7. I took a tour of the Palma Aquarium at the reception. This includes bus and ticket. This bus goes directly to the aquarium without going to a souvenir shop. The stay was long enough. 8. There were activities such as a children's dance program, and the children enjoyed themselves. 9. The nearby sea has a long beach and a little rocky area, so if you get tired of the beach, you can look for crabs and shellfish on the rocky area and have fun with your children. The beach in front of the hotel is long, and it was very nice to cycle on a rental bike that can hold 4 people. Rental bikes can be rented at the shop in front of the beach. bad 1. All cash payments in the hotel. There is an ATM inside the hotel, but it is a little inconvenient. It also charges a fee. 2. Depending on your tastes, I thought the breakfast was not worth the 22 euros. After all, my child ate bread, yogurt, and cereals, so I bought them at the supermarket next door and ate them in my room. 3. The airport shuttle bus often stayed at the hotel, but the receptionist would not tell me. The hotel can only call a taxi, and the bus should be checked and booked by yourself. I wanted to know at least the company name, but they didn't tell me. You must have seen the same bus company name hundreds of times (even I saw the same bus about 5 times. You should write down the name when you see the bus). The local bus to the airport is cheap, but the bus stop is ALDI direction. If you are an adult, you can walk with a suitcase, but if you have children, it will be difficult. A taxi to the airport is around €45 each way. 4. Affiliated tours are the worst. We booked a boat tour inside the cave. At 9:00, the time spent in the cave is only 1 hour and 20 minutes. After going around souvenir shops → jewelry shops, we finally arrive at the cave. Lost time is more than 1 hour. So 69 euros for 3 people is too expensive and I don't recommend it. The child is bored and bored. There are many tourists in the cave, and there is a long line to enter. This 1 hour and 20 minutes includes everything, so I was only in the cave for about 40 minutes. The boat that can be boarded inside the cave takes 2 minutes, but the waiting time is over 30 minutes, so it is physically impossible to get on in time for the tour bus meeting time. We recommend renting a car. This is the only bad thing this time.

We only stayed one night but we really liked the room, the treatment was very good and it has a quite large and beautiful spa. We took a room with a large bed and it was super comfortable and the room had everything. We will surely repeat again.

I am writing to express serious concerns regarding a guest's recent stay at your hotel. I am their travel agent and have submitted this on their behalf. Firstly, the pre-arranged car transfer did not arrive as scheduled. After waiting for 50 minutes and making two calls to your hotel, a driver eventually arrived. This lack of punctuality and communication is unacceptable, and no apology or explanation was provided. Upon arrival, the check-in process via the app took over an hour, with minimal assistance from staff and a noticeable absence of hospitality. This created a poor first impression. The main issue encountered was the attitude of the young staff members, who appeared indifferent and unhelpful. Requests such as getting food near the pool, ordering drinks, or even a burger from the pool menu to the restaurant were met with a lack of concern and professionalism. The food was described as bland, with a rocket salad lacking dressing and stale corn chips. Additionally, housekeeping was subpar—personal items like a pillow were misplaced and found dusty under the bed. After housekeeping attended to the room, pillows were not properly arranged and were left on the floor or a desk chair. Attached photos show the state of the room after housekeeping. The location is not appealing either. Out the front of the hotel are little shops and Indian restaurants, They said all they could smell was Indian spices and nothing much else around it. It is clear that the level of hospitality significantly impacts guest satisfaction. It appears that there may be a lack of proper staff training and supervision, leading to a disappointing experience. Several other guests were also overheard expressing dissatisfaction with food, service, and housekeeping. Given the substantial amount spent—over 8000 EUR for two rooms over seven days—the experience was highly unsatisfactory. I have also contacted your hotel directly with a formal complaint.
