We had a very pleasant stay there. I liked the location as it is away from the hustle bustle of the main road, yet quite near the main road. It has a big parking space. The rooms are well appointed with very good hygiene standard. The staff is very polite, friendly and competent. We took only breakfast there. The breakfast spread is quite impressive and food quality was very good. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will love to visit again.

The staff is the best I have encountered in a long long time. Not to mention the lovely hotel and services it has and it all stems from the owner I am told who pushes everyone for high standards and doesn’t settle for anything less. One of the pick of the lot amongst the services was the food which was served for breakfast and the scrumptious menu that they offer. The Chef, Mr. Raja is a lovely guy who heads the kitchen and helps dish out some mouth watering delicacies. I have never eaten better momos or even a Thupka which is essentially a north forte. Hotel Imphal is one of the finest hotels established by the Government of Manipur - to provide the best food and stay facility to the visitors either on business or pleasure trip to the city. Until recently it was under the management of Department of Tourism, Government of Manipur. As a forward looking initiative, the State Government decided to hand over the maintenance and management of the hotel to the BABINA Group. Based on Public Private Partnership Model (trial), the hotel is being run by The Classic Group of Hotels (Units of BABINA Group). The hotel and make my trip both refused to honour the booking. Even no one bother to find a alternative accommodation in the night. My suggestion never use make my trip or this hotel as neither they are fit to be human or fit to do business. The best part is even after informing the refusal to entertain booking by hotel the portal is asking how was the stay.
