Even though i had an email confirmation of early check in, the reception guy was asking me to wait till 2 pm until i produced the email copy. So basically no record / track is kept about guests requests. Secondly, the entrance was horrible as some underground work was going on and had a large pit dug on the narrow road that leads to the hotel from the main road. So the guests had to take a long way around using a different parallel road to reach the hotel which i had to figure out myself. The hotel authority should have informed this earlier. Otherwise, this is a budget stay hotel. Since i was about to checkout early considering the fact that i checked in early, provisions were made to provide the complimentary breakfast on the day i checked in and i do appreciate it ! i would also suggest an inprovement to provide an intercom facility in future. This is available in Auroville. Staffs are polite and helpful. I stayed with family here and I felt it is good to stay if you are looking for budget hotels. Hot Water is available 24/7. Parking for 2&4 wheeler is available. Security Cameras are also active and monitoring.Every places are around 10-15-30 mins distance only. Auroville beach is just 900 Meter away from your hotel

We had heard a lot about K resort, so for my father's special birthday celebration, we had booked two rooms and stayed overnight. Pro: 1) The room is big, spacious and clean. 2)The bathroom is big and the shower pressure is amazing. 3) The A La Carte menu: The Indo-Chinese and the Indian cuisine very tasty. Now all the negatives: 1) Due to the location, lots of lizards and frogs enter the room. Terrified me badly. Whole night I slept with all of my lights on as I could hear the lizards making the noise. Still getting shudders thinking about it. They need to fix this problem. 2) My parents' room AC was not working well. We had to keep calling them to fix it. 3) I agree the food was delicious, but the service in the restaurant was super slow. We were the only family living and dining. Still it was not well organised in the order the food came. They gave us the gravy and made us wait for the chapathi nearly for 30mins! 4) The restaurant ***ager was super rude. Out of the 4 people, two people ate their breakfast in the restaurant, for the other two, we decided to pack as due to medical reasons, they needed to fast before eating. He questioned us why we packed so ***y dishes (according to him), and doubted us as if we wanted to free load some food. Ridiculous behaviour. I pointed out, two people who ate the breakfast, ate three times the amount we packed for the other two. 5) Generally the whole service is slow, from room service, fixing the AC, catching the extra lizards and frogs in the room, food serving: in short they made us wait for a long time. 6) The pool was dirty. They did not bother to clean as the resort was empty apart from our family. 7) The buffet breakfast was average. As we were the only guests, it was very basic. In short the hotel and staff did not give their best or even bothered as we were the only guests. My mom and brother did not stay the night and left after dinner, as they were not happy at all. I am glad we booked only for 1 night. Never coming again. It was a terrible experience for my family.

Perfect location. Perfect for sunrise view. Right on the beach. It's not a private beach resort but it has direct access to the beach. The resort is not exactly in Pondicherry city but 4-5 kms before. The restaurant serves good food and it is comparatively cheaper than the food outside. It serves South Indian and North Indian food. Rooftop eating space is best to have your meals with a great view of sea. Recommended room is Premium Sea view room. The only downside is the adjacent property, Raj Sea View Guest House. It simply throws its kitchen waste on the beach and it's guests were also throwing their trash on the beach, which spoilt the beauty of the beach.
