Kuwana Homestays

The location is great whether you come by car or on foot. Right in front of the Hokusei Line. I came by car, but if you arrive just before check-in, you can find a parking space with plenty of room. The free parking lot in front of the station is a great deal if you can park. I spoke to three staff members, and they were all very nice and made me feel cheerful. I'd like to use it again. Now for the bad news. The buffet. The taste and quality are good. However, the food is placed against the wall. This is the problem. You have to wait behind for a long time for the person in front who is hesitating or serving to move away. Also, there was a person who came in like they were cutting in line, and brushed over the food on the tray to get something they had forgotten. I didn't like that their clothes would get in my miso soup. I wish they would make some kind of effort to make it so that people don't have to wait in line, such as by placing the long table for food in the middle. The dining room staff were also very kind, which I appreciated. Also, although this is not the hotel's fault, the noise was loud at night for two reasons, and I couldn't sleep very well. First of all, my room was 406, and it was in front of the elevator, so I could hear the guests coming and going and talking very loudly. I wondered why it was so noisy, but it was because the door was a little small to begin with, and there was a gap at the bottom. When someone came, I could only see the shadow of their feet. Also, there were young people outside the hotel who were hot and screaming loudly all night long. I could also hear motorcycles. (They obeyed the traffic lights, considering they were a group of street racers...) Because of the nature of the place, I wish they would provide earplugs as a free amenity. Also, I'm planning to go to Kuwana, so I hope they will hear my earnest request.

I was worried because I wrote that the air conditioner was not effective and I couldn't sleep before my stay. I was able to sleep comfortably at night without thinking it was effective and ”hot”. The staff at the hotel are all firm. I thought it was good to stay here.

We booked through a Japanese friend as their staff couldn’t understand English very well. This hotel is so popular in Japan for the locals. This resort has everything for kids, teens and adults. The hotel has a spa-land which has lots of different outdoor onsens in a garden. The hotel is linked to mitsui outlet and amusement fun park / water park. Also, 10 mins drive to Nabana no Sato (flower garden) it is worth to go at night to see the flower night show. The hotel charge (around 22000 yen) includes 1 night stay with breakfast and dinner buffet, all the admission fees of spa land, amusement park and Nabana no Sato. I think it’s very good bargain. The dinner buffet has lots of variety foods: king crab , steak, clam soup and fresh sashimi etc. 1 night is not enough , should have stay for 2 nights. My kids are happy, my parents are happy. We are all happy about the stay and kids want to go back again. All the rooms are twin beds, and check out time is 10am. A bit early but I think it’s standard to onsen resort hotel in Japan

The front restaurant has a good atmosphere of employees and guests, and there is no big customer who seems to be seen in the next flower water tree and the attitude of the attitude that looked down, and the atmosphere was very good. It was good to have a bath in the room, but it was more comfortable and better than the private large bath ”olive hot water” expected. As for the meal, there is no special luxury, but the cooking method was well devised and all were delicious. It is a frank impression that this Viking is better than eating cold tenpura wet rice in the high building next door. If you don't care about the old facilities and the lack of bath in the room, and the low ceiling, I think it will be a stay with a higher sense of Cospa satisfaction than other buildings in Nagashima resort.
