East of Suzhou Industrial Park/Eslite
Overall, I am quite satisfied with the service. The young man received us throughout the whole process with a good attitude and awareness. The family saw us and upgraded our room for free. It is worth praising. The style is quite unique. The serviced apar**ent is modern and simple. The security is very high. You need to swipe your card. 24-hour security. The location is excellent. There are shopping malls behind the Jinji Lake Scenic Area. The transportation is very convenient. The hygiene is also very clean. The bed is very comfortable. I will bring my family to play and stay here next time.

Really beautiful place. It looks to be brand new - maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but it certainly looks new. The room (a suite) was very spacious, very clean. Just a very beautiful place that fit well with the surroundings. The whole building was impeccably clean. I rated the service 5/5 because the owners were very nice, and largely left us alone. The family was processing tea and were quite busy - check-in was extremely quick, check-out too. I'm not looking for hospitality, so being left alone suited us fine - this isn't a criticism at all! The rooms don't really come with much extra (tea, coffee etc.), just a couple of bottles of water, so best to know that before you book if you usually expect this, but we didn't so we were fine with it. You can buy really good tea from them (maybe we timed it well as we arrived at the peak tea-picking time). The owners were very kind and let us try some, and it's really good tea - we ended up buying some. Food was pretty good, but again they were quite busy and have specific times that food is available, and no menu, so best to check ahead with them (again, really taking into account that they were super busy processing tea when we were there). Absolutely not a problem as there are so many great restaurants around too. TV in the room had VOD but without VIP, so if you're looking to watch movies or anything best to bring your own (including HDMI cable as our TV didn't have one). Location excellent. Space for maybe 4 cars to park, right next to a small hill, very close to the pick-up point for the sightseeing bus to take you up to Xishan, and surrounded by lots of restaurants, B+Bs etc. so if you like coffee, there's a shop just down the road. Very beautiful surroundings - you will be shocked that you're so close to Suzhou as there's absolutely no evidence that you're anywhere near a city! All in all, really enjoyable. Amazing price for a suite (around Y500 per night) and one of the better homestay-style places we've stayed in. Highly recommended.

I have been traveling recently and now I have time to leave a review. This store is our favorite and the best one when we stayed in Suzhou for four or five days. At first, it was because the price of this store was cheap and the reviews were very good. Yes, it turned out to be great. Their home has a river view, but they didn’t even mention it in their introduction. Moreover, their home is in a real alley in Jiangnan, not in a man-made scenic spot. The street nearby is full of locals. As soon as you enter their house, you will see a large bamboo forest. The pictures I have included are particularly beautiful. These pictures were all taken at their house. You can easily take a photo of the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan. There are several bamboo trees in the lobby. The little raccoon cat was lazily picking up guests. The tea machine and tea sets in the lobby were antique and the painting and calligraphy ornaments were exactly what I thought of Jiangnan. We stayed in a room on the attic. Experts strongly recommend staying in a room on the attic. Ibantiandi has small wooden tables, wooden chairs and tea sets. We sat on the second floor drinking tea and chatting while looking at the sunset and the scenery of Jiangnan Town. It was so exciting that we didn’t want to go home. The boss was so nice that we even added WeChat. On the first day we moved in, we wanted to book a few more days, but it was all booked. We had no choice but to go to another hotel. Later, we were able to book and move back. We have stayed in both expensive and cheap hotels. This one is What I like most is not only that the price is very cost-effective, but the key is that there is a really beautiful river view outside the window of Jiangnan. It is only five minutes away from Pingjiang Road and various scenic spots by electric car. It is very convenient to travel through the antique style and satisfy all the fantasies of northerners. Jiangnan I really like Suzhou and I will go there next year
Mulan · Wanqing Gufeng Holiday Hotel

Outside Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
A good hostel is the basis of a good trip╰(*´︶`*)╯ I compared several B&Bs near Zhouzhuang online before, and finally chose Mulan Wanqing (later I had dinner at Mulan Restaurant and chatted with the staff, and found that I was actually staying at Mulan Fanli. Wanqing is the newer B&B next door. The two are next to each other, with the same entrance and 9 rooms. Fanli is the owner's own house) The main reason for choosing this one at that time was very interesting, because there was no air conditioning and water heater in the picture, and it was speculated that it used central air conditioning and centralized hot water system. Combined with the house area, it was speculated that the specifications were relatively high. Hehe, in fact, it confirmed the guess. Parking is in the free Fuguiyuan parking lot, but it was unavailable when I arrived in the afternoon. The store directed me to the Dongzhuang parking lot, 20 per time, and the store helped me out. (Don't follow the local old lady, you may park too far away) There are golf carts to pick up and drop off for check-in and check-out, which is very convenient. The hotel is near the ticket gate of Shenting, which avoids the pain of dragging suitcases when staying in the scenic area, and provides another choice (the store buys tickets for 90 yuan, and you can go to the ticket gate to choose the inn to pay for it. The ticket can be entered and exited freely for three days. If you are not interested in visiting the scenic spot in the afternoon, you can not buy tickets, go in at 9 pm to see the night view, and enter the park before 7 am to stroll without buying tickets) Walking in Shenting, I accidentally found that the room names of the B&B correspond to the eight scenic spots of Zhouzhuang. Ours is ”Ji Shui Yang Fan”, the owner is thoughtful. The small courtyard of the B&B has fish ponds and so on. The new courtyard on the Wanqing side has a bit of Tang style, and there is a big moon where you can try ”Three People in the Shadow”. The cat is called Chou Bao. The B&B does not have breakfast, but there is a restaurant next door where you can have breakfast. The socks bottom pastry is provided in the Mulan Restaurant in the scenic spot. The environment is also good. I like the second floor.

Facilities: Because I booked a Soviet-style family room, the room is on the second floor and there is no elevator. When you go up to the room, you have to go through a very steep and narrow staircase. If you are going with elders or companions with inconvenient legs and feet, you need to think carefully. Hygiene: You have to go through a long corridor before entering the B&B. There will be a little smell, but it is not heavy and it is acceptable. In addition, the room is clean and the host will provide cleaning supplies. Environment: It is in a private house, so the environment is more life-like. Service: The host of the B&B is very polite Ps. There are many restaurants outside the hotel, and it is convenient to find something to eat; it is also very close to Pingjiang Road, Guanqian Street, etc.; the scenic spots also include the Humble Administrator's Garden, Lion Grove, etc.; in addition, the hotel is about 5-6 minutes away from the subway station, which goes to Suzhou. There is only one stop, which is very fast. There are only two stops to Qili Shantang. If you are afraid of cats, please be careful. There are many cats in the B&B. There will be one waiting at the door in the morning😅😅

If you go to Xishan to play, it is recommended to stay for one night to slow down the pace. There is no need to rush to the road and traffic jams with the National Day tourist army... The homestay is newly renovated, all facilities are new, there is no smell, and the room can be seen outside, which is great! The parking is convenient, there are many farmhouses to eat around, and you can stroll around the homestay. The young and beautiful owner and his wife are also enthusiastic. There will be more places to go on weekends!
Pucang Inn (Suzhou Pingjiang Road)

We ended up giving our host the name 'Fred'... because he is truly a big friendly guy. The place might be a little rustic, but that was a big draw for us. What it lacks in facilities (not that we needed any of them), compared to a bigger hotel it more than makes up for in its intimacy and warmth of service. There is also a small tea/coffee room with the window facing the waterway - nothing fancy, but I happily spent almost an hour in there planning my day, while watching locals and the resident duck go about their day. When it came to advice, Fred was detailed, to the point of recommending us the best places to eat along the way to our destinations, what is there in the area. The room is generally clean, and so is the bed. The bathroom does have a few occasional bugs, but that is simply due to the area you're in. The tv has a good variety of movies, though everything is in Chinese (but they do have old HK comedies...a favourite of mine). The walls may be made of concrete, but noise somehow passes through, and we can hear the occupants next door in lively conversation. But other than that, I had a good night's sleep. You are literally just a few tens of meters from Pingjiang road, but far enough not to get disturbed by the nightly hustle and bustle. It is also walking distance to the Humble Administrators Garden and IM Pei's cool white building of historical Chinese things.

Confucius Temple/Qinhuai River Scenic Area
We stayed in twin room for 5 nights. The hotel is within old town district with pedestrian only walking street so taxi cannot stop in front of hotel. Meaning hv to drag luggage along alleys for about 5 to 8 minutes to get to hotel depending on where your taxi drop you off. Do note that the entrance is a littke hard to find, as they don't use big signage. From hotel to airport taking metro, we left at 1245pm, walked about 15 minutes to wudingmen metro station, reached airport at 208pm. It is within 30 minutes walking distance to yuhuamen, fujimiao area. If weather is good, i think the walk is actually nice n fun. But not during summer. Hotel leaves us fruits in room daily, n breakfast is simple but with enough selection for us to eat for 5 straight mornings. The waitress (i believe is ms 徐) is extremely warm n helpful, service taking. The night shift receptionist ms 张贝has been exceptionally lovely n helpful. She helped me contacted shop when i had issues with ordering n refund, suggested places i can eat n visit, n went the extra miles to help make our stay comfortable n cozy. Last but not least, the hotel is so beautiful, the Chinese architecture with modern comfort makes the stay a truly memorable one.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the dock. The hotel includes breakfast and can provide lunch and dinner. All dishes are made from local production. The dishes are good. The host and the staff are all very accommodating and try their best to help and are always available. The hotel was fully refurbished when we came. It was clean, well furnished and well maintained. The cost appeared reasonable even during the national holiday. We chose a room with a balcony. The terrasse adds a lot of convenience and is really enjoyable. We used it often. We did spend a pleasant time there. An important reminder comes as the hotel is close, maybe one of the closest to the dock. Therefore the activity around the hotel is intense, starts early and finishes late. This can affect light sleepers and is reinforced by the fact that the island is a heaven of silence. The island is perfect to reconnect to the nature, the slowness of life. We did appreciate our time walking around the island, visiting every small street and enjoying the pleasant view. People are very nice, organisation in the island is good and provides all the necessities. A good place for one or few days stay with or without children.

Pukou Yanjiang Zone
The location of the hotel is far but very convenient. You can consider it if you want something more affordable and want to stay a little longer .The metro is only a few meters away and it’s easy to connect to the city if you are looking for something more affordable. Taxis range from ¥40-65 per trip depending on where you’re going. The service is good very friendly and polite, you get responses quickly as well. Amenities supply was great, the view was even better at night. I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the hotel room, it had so much dust, a bad smell omitting from the sink and bathroom. With a little more effort in the clean up it is a great stay, at an affordable price.
