Hygiene is quite clean. It is just a few minutes' drive from Dagu Iceberg Scenic Area and a few minutes' drive from Heishui County. It is convenient for eating and playing. It feels like the best value for money B&B I have ever stayed in on the Western Sichuan Plateau.

We stayed in Yashe or Yanshe. I forgot, hahaha, it was a twin bed. I didn’t take photos of the room because of the high reflectivity. The room has floor heating and the quilt is very warm. It would be better if I changed it to cotton slippers. The inn has an elevator. The owner of the restaurant is very welcoming. Opposite the inn is the Changpinggou Performing Arts Center. You can get there by bus from Chadianzi Bus Terminal. Just talk to the driver. Walk across the road and you can see Dafeng.

The room is beautiful but a little noisy due to the neighbours doors opening and closing as well as the cleaning staff room was next to the room I stayed in. Yes the view outside the window was ugly with the stalled construction but generally I kept the curtains closed anyways. The tea and coffee set are really good, and the heated floors are the best for a cold morning! The included breakfast was also worth it! I chose the hotel because it has the hot springs but because they close at 9pm I did not have time to enjoy them after my hike in the park and after having dinner because I spent more time outdoors. Keeping them open until 10 or 11pm would be best for people like me!

On the first floor is a space to sit, relax and eat, it is comfortable and looks very nice. The room was also very comfortable and has a lot of extra's. There was a nice swingchair and a lot of panda-accesories. The location is also very good closeby the panda park and the view from the room is splendid. The whole staff is so nice! The atmosfere is very pleasant. They helpt us with everything and they gave us very delicious dinner. The breakfast was very good as well. And so was the service and all the extra's they gave us and the rides to the panda park.. A big thank you to the whole staff!

Before 8 am you won’t see any one out here as markets open after that. Only few staff speaks English. They helped us out with guiding us for day trips and travel. But the hotels location is perfect. Buddhist monestararty is near by so it was easy for us to find vegan and vegetarian restaurants. There are many food and other stalls during day time. There is no lift in the hotel. Breakfast was ok better to go on time because they don’t refill anything half an hour before closing.

A mixed experience - the staff were very friendly and the hostel had lots of amenities and events. Perfect for meeting other travellers and getting comfortable in a new city. However, I booked to stay in a female-only room but there were men staying in the room for the majority of the stay. I was not notified of this, and when I asked the staff why they said it was because the other rooms were full. Not great. The room also did not feel clean, with someone else's stuff left in my locker and dust and dirt on the walls.

Overall, the price is acceptable. Other hotels are also organizing activities in the off-season, each with its own pros and cons. The boss upgraded the room to a bigger one for free. The only problem was that one of the kitchen doors was broken and could not be closed. The room could be seen outside the kitchen window and it was still ventilated.
