Homestays in Harjumaa, Estonia

It is ok for overnight stay, but it can be a real hit and miss sometimes. I only use it because it is quite affordable and has free parking. Noisy guests appear to be common and it might be hard to get sleep. Rooms are really clean, but bathrooms are getting bit run down.  Main gate didn’t open with given code and since there is no staff on-site, you have to contact them with Whatsapp… This takes time and meanwhile you are stuck on a narrow street waiting for someone to answer you.  This seems to happen quite often? Atleast it has happened to us twice now.

Pros 1. The location is near to old town and bus stops 2. The staff are okay but not all looking friendly 3. Luckily there was a small fan provided in the room so won't be so warm 4. Two small cups and a small kettle were provided 5. Okay the pillows and bed were comfortable 6. Many plug sockets to use Cons 1. The double bedroom was really small and narrow 2. No hair dryer provided 3. Got to email to the hotel to get instructions how to get the room's key or ask questions thru the email , yes then you need to walk about 100m like that to the hotel you booked ya 4. No daily room cleaning

Fuss-free environment with full kitchen, cinema (at a charge), lounge area, and fussball table. Single rooms are on the top (4th) floor and there is no lift, so be prepared to climb a bit. Toilet/showers are clean and spacious. Single rooms come with a wardrobe and tables to place stuff. Bath towel is provided. There is hair dryer in each toilet/shower. The location is perfect, near Prisme supermarket, MacD, Viru gate, Viru bus and tram stops, and Old Hansa restaurant in the old town.
