Boban Luxury Suites

The room does not have a sea view. This is not like a hotel, more like a villa, the security of it is not very high, as it has 2 entrances. The entrance from the pool, anyone can access it without a problem. The swimming pool was quite dirty, it has a lot of bugs floating, and also it has not been regularly cleaned by the staff. It has a lot of restaurants nearby, and the quality and the price are better than those tourist meals in the old town. The lift was broken on the first day, second day they informed us it is fixed. But it still has a little bit sudden sinking issue. I guess Croatia does not have regulation of fix term lift checking, as it does not have any certificate in the lift inside/outside. If the hotel showed 3 stars and the price is lower. I would rate The right side of the balcony has a big tennis field on the 2nd-floor level, it is very close, and it was quite annoying that people can look over easily. The suite does not worth 4 stars. The rug is super old, it has some stains on it. The Front door lock is looking new, it is safe, but some electricity installation was not installed properly, it looks like you can pull them out easily. The Electric Safety box is not working with the password, the hotel left a key in there for use. Breakfast arrangement is well managed for guests with early tour, they could arrange breakfast box including 1 fruit, 3 breads, and 1 yogurt at 06am to 07am.
Up There Design Rooms
4.5/517 Reviews
My husband and I travelled on the 16th September on British Airways, which took 2hrs 40 minutes from Heathrow. Jet2 stop flying to Split after 31st August during the autumn and winter period. We stayed in 'Up There Design Rooms' which was in an excellent location with a short walk to all the touristy sights and nearby small beach. The rooms were on the 6th Floor gained by an elevator and were fairly basic in as much as furniture. Two swivel stools, a swivel chair, double bed with small tables either side and a clothes closet and shelves. We had a wonderful shower unit, toilet and sink unit with shelves underneath. The room was huge with windows all along this side with a view of lovely little white houses with red roofs going uphill towards the mountains. The window sill went the whole length along the window which was very useful and underneath was a socket for recharging phone or IPad. Incidentally the Wifi was really good. The best part of staying in 'Up There rooms' was the small coffee lounge, where you could help yourself to small biscuits, fruit, tea or coffee any time you needed a little refreshment at tables with some astonishing views of the Port. Adjoining this was the reception desk, manned by three outstanding staff, namely Petra, Valentina and Marko. They gave information about where to go, how to get to, and anything you needed to do, absolutely worth their weight in gold, nothing was a bother for them. THIS made the holiday all the more enjoyable. Couldn't beat this hotel for cleanliness, pristine white sheets, duvet and towels every other day... BLISS. The Old Town was really interesting, with shops, restaurants, and bars scattered around it in centuries old streets and buildings. It's a warren of little streets and took a couple of days to get your bearings in and around it. We found a lovely bar in the Central Square called 'No Stress'. It certainly lived up to it's name. Just sitting there having a quiet drink and people watching was pure relaxation. The waiters and staff were so pleasant and efficient. We didn't have a meal there, but I DID sample their Tiramasui and it was 'top notch' to say the least. The cleanliness was second to none, as the refuse collector came round every Hour in his little truck and picked up the trash from shops, restaurants, and bars, consequently there was not a scrap of litter anywhere. We walked the hind legs of a donkey, as it was so easy to do so, because the terrain was pretty flat around the Port. And there were seats everywhere to rest the weary legs if necessary. The Port was 'busy-busy' and Ocean Liners coming and going each day, and lots of large ferries taking tourists to the surrounding towns and islands. The main promenade area was breathtaking. Best I've ever had the fortune to encounter in my travels and once again immaculately litter-free. We walked up to the Park and the views were superb looking down on to the Port and exquisite promenade. Th

Central Pearl by Nono Ban Rooms
4.3/530 Reviews
After having a booking with an alternative apartment cancelled by the hosts at last minute (2 weeks before travelling to Split!!) we had to frantically search for new accommodation, and I’m so glad we stumbled across Central Pearl! The name certainly reflects how we felt about this place. Before travelling, the hosts contacted us to ask if we needed a transfer from the airport (which we declined) and what time we would be arriving. First off, the location was absolutely perfect; only a 5 minute walk from the Riva, Diocletian’s Palace and the Bus Station, and about a 15 minute walk to Bačvice Beach. There was also a convenience store at the end of the street which was super handy! When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff (unfortunately we didn’t catch her name) who gave us a business card with the code to enter the building and a phone number to call if we needed anything. We didn’t actually see any other members of staff after this until we checked out, but our rooms were made up everyday by housekeepers. The rooms are not the largest, but certainly not cramped at all and absolutely spotless, as well as being very tastefully decorated. We were also very impressed with the bathroom (again, spotless), which had a walk in rainfall shower as well as a detachable shower head, both of which were very powerful. There was also a mini fridge and hairdryer provided, as well as a very effective air con. The TV did not have any signal from the aerial but Netflix was available and logged in ready to use (not sure if this was left logged in by previous guests or the hosts). The only downside to this accommodation is the noise from the road outside, as it is situated on the main road down to the Riva/bus station/port and is very busy at all times of day/night. Unfortunately even with the windows closed it was still very loud, but in fairness to Central Pearl they provided ear plugs for both of us to use which were very effective at blocking the noise out so we still slept well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Central Pearl and would happily come back again without any hesitation, as well as recommending it to everyone!
Pellegrini Luxury Rooms

Location is AMAZING! Walking distance to all the fun and action! Loved the opportunity to open the windows and have fresh air and look over the park/courtyard! THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! We had a challenge with bedding and they fixed it IMMEDIATELY! MOST IMPORTANT, We had to leave at 4 am to catch our flight and absentmindedly left a fairly large sum of US dollars in the safe. I literally expected to write it off. However after 24 hours of flying I made the call to the hotel and they did everything to get me the cash back to me in a timely manner. I even told them to keep an amount for going out of their way to get it to me. Thank you Frane and all involved! They did not take it! Highly recommend staying here!

Trogir Old Town
Great hotel right in the center of town. Close to everything. Ivan met us in the parking lot and guided us to the hotel when we arrived. We stayed in one of the third floor rooms with a kitchenette and had the kids on the floor below in a smaller room with 2 twin beds, which worked out very well. The AC was great and the beds were the most comfortable we had on our trip. Ivan gave us great restaurant recommendations, tips for getting to Split, and other great ideas for day trips. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
House Sandra
4.6/590 Reviews
We only stayed at House Sandra for one night but really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. It’s a 10 minute walk to the old town / tourist area - far enough away to be out of the noise of the town but easily close enough to walk in and out. There is a supermarket less than a 5 minute walk and a nice pizza restaurant just 2 minutes walk away. The room we had was on the top floor. (A bit tricky taking a large, heavy suitcase up the stairs to the entrance hall and again to the main room - but you only have to do it once). The room was really spacious with a fridge, coffee machine, and some plates and cutlery. It had good air conditioning and the TV had Netflix and Amazon Prime installed (although you need your own account details). There was also a large sofa which could easily sleep another person. The bathroom was also a good size - it had a shower but no bath. Everything was spotless. I can’t think of anything bad / negative to say about House Sandra.
Dream Luxury Rooms

We stayed at this property for 4 nights. Not once in four nights did we have any housekeeping service. The sink in the bathroom is so poorly designed that in order to wash up, water splashes all over the counter and floor. We had to use our towels to sop up the unavoidable mess. We asked for clean towels & the person cleaning vacated rooms provided new towels, but did not take the dirty wet ones. There were only a few little bottles of shower soap in the room. No shampoo or lotion that is normally provided in accommodation that claims to be “luxury”. There were only two coffee pods provided for our entire stay & there was no sugar. The trash can became full. Our stay was over the weekend and on both Friday and Saturday nights, we could hear the music from the nearby nightclub. Even earplugs did not drown out the noise. There are 5 flights of stairs to climb to get to/from the rooms. If you are used to staying at a hostel or 2** accommodation this might be considered a luxury accommodation. Be aware, in our experience, if you do not give this property a 5* review, on any booking site, you may be threatened by the owner to never come back to Croatia again!
Piano Suites
4.4/56 Reviews
Piano suites is a nice, small-scale 'hotel' (a closed corridor with 4 rooms in an apartment building). The manager is always available if there are problems. Our room was clean, cleaning is done once a week and then the towels and sheets are also replaced. Room and bathroom are quite small but everything you need is there. The location of the hotel is central, about a 5-10 minute walk to the center. Breakfast takes place in another hotel, which is a short 10-minute walk away. The breakfast itself is mediocre. All things considered, this hotel is highly recommended.
Balatura the Fine Bed&Breakfast Split

My husband and I had a perfect stay here as part of our 20th anniversary trip. The property was charming and spotless, the room large and quiet, the shower wonderful, and breakfast in the garden patio was delicious. The owners and staff are kind and helpful. They arranged parking in a paid secure lot for us ahead of time and even met us there with the keycard. It was above and beyond what I expected. I appreciated the eco-nature of the hotel: automatic lights in the hallways and stairs as well as selecting breakfast options the night before so no food would be wasted. Our made-to-order food came out hot and delicious. Having the ability to truly control the room's temperature is often rare in our European travels, and was greatly appreciated. It makes such a difference for sleep. The pedestrian street is a quick walk that leads directly to the Silver Gate of Diocletian's palace. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here.
