Hakone Guesthouse Toi

Kowakidani/Miyanoshita
Super cute guesthouse tucked away in a quaint mountain neighborhood of Hakone. This adorable and clean home has bright and lively shared spaces, where you will find happy guests chatting away in the cafe/bar. The hosts are around 24/7 if you need anything and at the cafe or close by all day. They are super friendly and ready to help with your needs. This place is really designed like a shared home and feels cozy and welcoming! The location is really convenient with a small shrine, little shops, bus stops, 7/11, and train station 5-7 min walk away but be sure you know which direction you want to go… the roads branch off like a tree (you can check directions with the hosts first). Loved Rum (host dog) and loved my stay!

Gora/Sengokuhara
We stayed here for two nights. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is near Gora Station, just few minutes walk. There's a common lounge and a small kitchen. There's a rooftop where we can gather there to relax and chill out. Also at the ground floor, there's a recreation area. Overall the stayed is very pleasant. Hope to go back again.
Ohmachi Junxion
3.4/513 Reviews
This is a highly recommended hostel for a reasonable cost! Junxion is in an ideal location: perfectly placed between the JR station (~5 mins) and the beach (~15 mins). The designs of the entrance way/cafe, sleeping room and bathroom area are all reminiscent of tiny home living and are such an efficient use of space. It is quaint and comfortable. The staff are friendly and explicit as to how/where to use particular facilities/amenities. They are also super helpful and willing to give suggestions about Kamakura. The beds were comfortable, the air-con was strong and they even offer free breakfast! I really can't say enough positive things... STAY HERE!!
Gen Hotel Kamakaura

10 minutes walk from Kamakura station. It is right in front of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. It feels solemn when you hear it is a site related to Mr. Hojo, but it is a functional and modern hotel. Check-in is also unmanned, so you don't meet people. The size of the room is about the size of a one-room condominium where you live alone, and the interior is modern and clean. We also have the necessary equipment. The windows are about lighting, so you can't see the scenery. I was happy with the bath gel. The rooftop is a shared space for guests, and there are tables and chairs, so I ate breakfast while watching the cherry blossoms in full bloom in Dankuzu and the torii gate of Hachimangu. By the way, there is no restaurant, so I bought breakfast at a convenience store. There is a Sanrio Cafe on the first floor. From the location and functional price, it will be a perfect base for sightseeing. The only complaint is that when I entered the guest information on the screen at check-in, I had a hard time noticing that I had to scroll because I had to scroll backwards when I entered the guest information. ★ 6 places, ★ 1 reduced to ★ 5.
Inn Matsushima
4.7/59 Reviews
It is small and old-fashioned, but the food is delicious as it is a Japanese style inn, and the specially ordered eel is exquisite. The rooms are retro but clean. The front desk was friendly and helpful. However, I was worried that the person in charge of serving the food at the dining hall didn't quite understand, and that every time I asked something, I went to the back to check. The temperature of the bath was just right, but it's not big, and when 5 people enter, there are guests occupying the hot bath, so it's hard to get in. It may be necessary to devise a sign not to do it.

This 𥚃 is very beautiful, the room is very large, the bathroom is super nice, there is a constant temperature bathtub and heating, there is heating in the room, and there is also a heater under the counter, super attentive! ! shortcoming: You have to drive to get there, there is nothing nearby The floor is very clean, but there are a few hairs on the bed and a few stains on the pillow. The final most points are deducted and ‼ ️Please note when ordering‼ ️ Please ask for your check-in PIN number 2-3 days before check-in‼ ️ Because we thought the PIN number on the Trip.com order was already the room password. It turns out that you have to give villa Trip.com the PIN code and order number before they give you the room password‼ ️‼ ️‼ ️Because it was already 8 o'clock when we checked in, we couldn't contact anyone at all, and we had to wait for more than half an hour to get the password (vilia said that he had sent an email before, but we never received it!! 👆🏾👆🏾So here’s a reminder‼ ️ If you have not received any password email from Villa three days before check-in, please contact Trip.com or Villa 2 days in advance to obtain the check-in password‼ ️‼ ️‼ ️

The Kamakura Poster B&B was created by a Japanese living overseas. It is 100 meters away from the beach bath, suitable for surfers and travelers who like the beach. The boss is very good and called me to check in early. The facilities are first-class, especially the bathing facilities are really great. High-quality homestay. It’s a bit far from Kamakura University, and it takes half an hour to walk along the coastline. Suitable for people on beach vacations

In an old house with a history of more than 80 years, the bedding in the room on the first floor felt a little damp in the summer. There is a mini front desk and a mini living room. I met two young service staff, both of whom were very enthusiastic and communicated in English fluently...
