This adorable and clean home has bright and lively shared spaces, where you will find happy guests chatting away in the cafe/bar. The hosts are around 24/7 if you need anything and at the cafe or close by all day. They are super friendly and ready to help with your needs. This place is really designed like a shared home and feels cozy and welcoming! The location is really convenient with a small shrine, little shops, bus stops, 7/11, and train station 5-7 min walk away but be sure you know which direction you want to go… the roads branch off like a tree (you can check directions with the hosts first). Loved Rum (host dog) and loved my stay!

The hotel is very close to the Buddha and another scenic spot. The service and attitude are very good. It is a good choice if you are traveling alone. The only thing I can't accept is the weather in July. Can you change to summer bedding? I really can't enjoy sleeping on fur in the summer. I don't know if other room types will be different. Everything else is acceptable.

The kitchen was also equipped with almost all the equipment and there was no inconvenience in cooking. I was surprised that there was a hot plate that could make crepes. We arrived at the guesthouse having already pre-booked the dinner round the firepit and I'm glad we did. We took our own booze, sat around the firepit with some of the other guests and cooked fish and veg over the fire. For dessert we toasted marshmallows. The guesthouse was really nice and clean, well designed and the staff were friendly. The next morning we went for a walk in Hakone but the weather was quite bad, we just headed to an onsen near Hakone Yumoto station. The visit to the guesthouse and dinner made the trip worthwhile.

It was a self-check-in/self-check-out system without the presence of staff. Nothing could be done with the reservation number (11 digits) sent by Trip.com, and the hotel said that a registration link was sent by email in advance, and guests received a QR code and a 6-digit reservation number that could be registered in the hotel system through prior input/registration. I'm assuming you're checking in. The hotel said they sent a link via Expedia message, but I didn't receive an email directly from Trip.com, and I didn't receive anything other than the 11-digit reservation number from Trip.com.

The facility itself was good, but it was very cold inside. It was also very inconvenient that toothbrushes and razor towels had to be paid. There doesn't seem to be a need to pay for towels.

This is a highly recommended hostel for a reasonable cost! Junxion is in an ideal location: perfectly placed between the JR station (~5 mins) and the beach (~15 mins). The designs of the entrance way/cafe, sleeping room and bathroom area are all reminiscent of tiny home living and are such an efficient use of space. It is quaint and comfortable. The staff are friendly and explicit as to how/where to use particular facilities/amenities. They are also super helpful and willing to give suggestions about Kamakura. The beds were comfortable, the air-con was strong and they even offer free breakfast! I really can't say enough positive things... STAY HERE!!

The good thing is that access to Yuhigahama is good. Other word of mouth sites also have a lot of posts because the room is filthy, but when I entered the room to stay, a small bug flock occurred and I was surprised. The Kamakura Poster B&B was created by a Japanese living overseas. It is 100 meters away from the beach bath, suitable for surfers and travelers who like the beach. Bushi or Samurai is a great local guide who runs Irodori, he is a gold mine of info about Kamakura and Japan in general, I highly recommend taking one of his tours. Bushi guided me around the mountains of Kamakura and on the Shogun tour, both well worth the money as you get a deeper experience than you will get by yourself. We also went to see a 24th generation sword smith, which was simply amazing. Irodori is not a fancy guest house, its simple, but its clean and most importantly for me, its authentic Japan.

10 minutes walk from Kamakura station. It is right in front of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. It feels solemn when you hear it is a site related to Mr. Hojo, but it is a functional and modern hotel. Check-in is also unmanned, so you don't meet people. The size of the room is about the size of a one-room condominium where you live alone, and the interior is modern and clean. We also have the necessary equipment. The windows are about lighting, so you can't see the scenery. I was happy with the bath gel. The rooftop is a shared space for guests, and there are tables and chairs, so I ate breakfast while watching the cherry blossoms in full bloom in Dankuzu and the torii gate of Hachimangu.
