JJennlynzThe rooms was awesome. Can see The Lost World of Tambun from the balcony. The cooking utensils is provided but no cooking allowed. The Hot Spring pool is great and kids enjoy it. Location is central to go to most places within 15 to 20 mins drive. McDonald’s and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are nearby. Overall we really enjoy it....

If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious stay with a stunning natural backdrop, this is the place to be. The apartment complex is situated on a beautiful hillside, offering panoramic views of Ipoh’s lush greenery and limestone hills.
Apartment Features:
The apartment I stayed in was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather.
Service:
While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.

One of the standout features of The Cove Hillside is the range of amenities. The infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the surrounding hills. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. The fitness center is well-equipped with modern machines and free weights, great for staying in shape. There’s also a barbecue area that can be reserved for gatherings, which adds a nice touch for family or group stays. Plus, the complex is gated with 24-hour security, so I felt very safe and secure throughout my stay.

LLShannonWe travelled in a group of 3 female friends. I have to say I booked this place due to its industrial themed rooms. It's definitely nostalgic and rustic but the cleanliness is still very much up to standard. We even had a balcony and managed to catch a glimpse of fireworks in a distance. In the morning, we caught the sunrise as well. It's beautiful.
The location is best! 👍🏼 it's just next to the famous Thean Chun Coffeeshop, where you get to eat shredded chicken noodles, popiah, asam laksa, Satay, char kway teow.
Will definitely recommend this place to others.
The only one thing is u will need a little patience when it comes to service. The staff left us standing aimlessly where she went up to the room.

I can honestly say this was one of the best stays I have ever had in Ipoh. If you are looking for relaxation, luxury, and convenience, the IWH Sunway Onsen Apartment is the place to be.
Here is why I can’t stop raving about it:
• The Private Onsen: This is the absolute highlight. Having a private hot spring tub right on the balcony is an experience you usually pay premium hotel prices for. Soaking in the natural geothermal water while looking out at the majestic limestone hills was incredibly rejuvenating. It is the perfect way to unwind.
• The View: Waking up to the view of the greenery and the misty hills is breathtaking. It feels like a retreat far away from the city, yet it is so accessible.
• The Apartment: The unit managed by IWH was spotless, modern, and beautifully decorated. The beds were hotel-quality comfortable (I slept like a baby!), and the amenities provided—from high-speed WiFi to the kitchenette—made it feel like a luxurious home away from home.
• Location: You are practically right next door to the Sunway Lost World of Tambun. It’s incredibly convenient if you are visiting the theme park. Plus, there are plenty of food options and a grocery store nearby.
• The Service: The IWH team was fantastic. Check-in was seamless, the instructions were clear, and they were very responsive to any questions I had.
I would highly recommend this to couples looking for a romantic getaway or families wanting a fun, relaxing trip. I am already planning my next trip back!

GGuest UserThis is such a unique place, absolutely gorgeous and you can feel the love that was poured into every corner. It feels like you are staying in an art gallery, every wall and door and ceiling is hand painted with incredible talent and taste.

JJULIAJUMAATWe extend one more night for kids to play with the pool more. The kids pool is great for 2year+ since she can stand walk and swim comfortably. Since Monday the cafe is closed so the pool become quite and not many people there so is more private. There is no exchange room or toilet near the pool, since our cabin a bit far from the area we need to cross the lobby entrance. Overall the staying is okay just need to improve.

Kkhoo yin binThe location is fantastic, right in the city center, making it easy to get anywhere. You have to pick up the keys from a mailbox, and they send you the details in advance.
There's a living room, TV, and a kitchen with a microwave and fridge, which is great.
The water pressure in the bathroom is excellent, but unfortunately, there's a slight odor, which is the only downside.

Pros: The room was clean, the shower water pressure was strong, the bed was comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well throughout our stay. Front desk staff was friendly.
Cons: The actual room felt smaller than what was presented in the photos on the booking page. There is no on-site food service, and breakfast is not provided. When we enquired, hotel staff encouraged us to order food delivery instead. It would have greatly enhanced the experience if the hotel offered breakfast by the pool for guests.
We chose this property expecting a true hideaway experience away from the city. However, having to source our own meals elsewhere was inconvenient and detracted from the overall stay. Considering the price paid, the experience did not feel worthwhile, and we regretted the decision.
