Flat Bush Holiday Accomodation

We stayed in unit P6. Almost perfect. A bit weird to check in somewhere and then drive to a house elsewhere but understandable. Very large, clean and nicely furnished house of which we had 1 x 2 bedroom unit. Very spacious and nicely furnished, kitchen super well equipped. Don't rely on being able to sleep on the pull out couch though, very hard middle beam. Otherwise a great stay, will use again!

We were in Auckland to attend a funeral and the location was the first attraction. It just got better. Tina is a warm and gracious host. The house is beautiful with its art deco era and comfortable furnishings. Despite a sizeable storm hitting Auckland we were cosy by the fire in the lounge and then in our comfortable bed in the Karekare room. Everything is clean and the kitchen facilities were excellent. We’d book again for sure.

There are often no staff in the office, so if you are not there, you will have to make a mobile phone at the door. The room is not large, but it has the worst ones. It was good that the bathroom was large. Speaking of which, is there a place where the towels are stiff and the light bulbs in the room are out? After that, the internet was slow and the time 々 was interrupted. The heated pool in the room was wider than I expected, so I was able to enjoy it slowly. This is recommended for people if you care about the details. There is a supermarket right next to it, and the parking lot can be stayed by the room, so I think it is good for families.
Lush & Co Auckland Bed & Breakfast

This house seems to have been a B&B for a long time. Everything is arranged very well. Everyday guests are in a constant stream. Breakfast is also good. The only problem is that I have two children with me to collect the cost of a child. My heart is a bit uncomfortable. Others are OK.
Airport Westney Lodge

Warning!!!! Rooms have NO washrooms! One public Washroom for men and women. Walls are thin an noise travels, so it is noisy at night. Area of town has lots of loud cars and street action. On the good side, everything was very clean and well kept. Very nice people run the lodge.

The Bays Bed & Breakfast

First off, Shareen, the owner is very kind. The house is well-kept and clean. There is some cat hair, but we weren't there long enough for it to get on our clothes and such. There is a community kitchen, which is very convenient. The continental breakfast is completely serve yourself, but Shareen does show you what's available upon check-in. We did not have a key to our room, so it was slightly odd to leave for the evening to go eat dinner and leave the room unlocked. We did not ask, as we weren't quite sure where Shareen was. There may have been a room key available, but we weren't given one. The location is lovely- perfectly distanced from Mission Bay, one of my favorite places in Auckland. Another quirk is that shoes need to be removed upon entrance, which is totally fine since it's her house. But it's inconvenient when you're walking up and down stairs and outside to unload and load luggage. Otherwise, it's no big deal.

Yes, come back next time.
The Great Ponsonby Arthotel

The hotel is the old town in the center of Auckland, and the surrounding restaurants, bars and shopping are very convenient. The old house has a taste of home. The breakfast has a special chef made for each guest on-site, which is delicious. The service staff was very friendly and welcoming, and also reserved a parking space for us. In short, everything is fine, will stay again next time.

We were almost put off when we arrived to check in. It was the WORST check in experience I’ve ever had. I was made to feel as if I was putting the person (Nick?) out. There was No welcome, No smile and the registration form was thrown across the counter at me. When I asked for a room on the ground floor I was made to feel as if it was a Huge inconvenience. However our room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. After our checkin experience we looked for somewhere else to eat, however nothing elsewhere appealed and we returned to the hotel to check out the menu. Thankfully more Welcoming staff had come on to work and they were great.
