Shady Lady Bed and Breakfast

If you’re looking for a resort type spa hotel, this is not your place, but, if you’re looking for a funky, fun, different adventure, this is the place for you. The owners of this as well as the people who work there, are absolutely fantastic. They love all animals and our cat and dog were welcome with open arms. We woke up to the most beautiful sight; Peacocks everywhere strutting their stuff. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and we got to meet some really wonderful, adventure seeking folks. There are different themed rooms as well as a couple of cabins. We stayed in the Oriental Room which was absolutely beautiful & met all our needs. Sheets & bed were super lush & comfortable. This is located between Goldfield and Tonopah; perfect stop when traveling through Death Valley. We liked it so much that we almost changed our trip to stay an extra day but decided that we would do that on the way back in the fall. So looking forward to returning there! I highly recommend this place for those who like unique experiences.

Econo Lodge Fallon Naval Air Station Area

I was passing thru this area about a week ago. I originally tried a couple places in Eastern Reno/Sparks area (super 8 & another) and could not believe they were asking for over $220/nite for what appears to be an average kinda dumpy place. They all were saying the same thing - ”it's Friday nite and prices go up on weekends” ! I was floored that places that should be in the $60-$75 range were trying to extract 3X the norm. This EconoLodge was doing the same albeit to a lesser degree. I have not used this particular place before but I would usually be able to get a room in this area for around $75-ish but since I was tired I paid the asking rate of $105. This place is at best average or in the OK range.
Nirvana Hotel

Las Vegas Strip
very good. The indoor atmosphere is very fresh and comfortable (as the store name ”nirvana Nirvana” shows), it is rare to have such a fresh and refined place in Las Vegas such as ”Sex and the City”. There are McDonald's, panda expressx and shops not far from the hotel. In short, I am very satisfied with the hotel. If there is a little disadvantage, it is that the sound insulation is not very good, and it is a little noisy next to the road.
K7 Bed and Breakfast

We found this trip at the last minute and we arrived late in the evening. We would also like to enjoy the small restaurant bar to exchange with the rooms, but we left early in the morning.
The Yellow Penthouse

I'm in between homes right now and needed a place to stay for a few weeks while I got things together. I was first booked in the bottom floor room, which was perfectly adequate, cozy and very clean. However they were in the midst of construction outside and it really messed with me for a day. The next day, I asked Josue how long it would go on for. About an hour later he offered me the nicer room at the same price which was on the floor above so I wouldn't have to deal with the noise. The room above is bigger, very comfortable, very clean and had a restful stay while I was there from that moment on. Everything is very clean there and I tip my hat to them for that. It's not a motel proper, but a house that's been converted to receive guests. Electronic locks everywhere, so I felt very secure. The showers even have complimentary soap and shampoo from a dispenser. Individual climate control for the rooms. The area is a bit seedy, but their prices are the lowest in town to reflect the location. The immediate surroundings of the motel itself are just regular families who mind their own business. I stayed there for 3 weeks had no issues. I'd recommend it and Josue is honest and easy to talk to and he will take the extra step to accommodate you.
