I have always thought that Swiss hotels are very expensive, especially in the summer European travel season, this time I went to play near Interlaken, and chose this hotel in the town of Lake Brienz. In general, it still has a certain price/performance ratio. Facilities: On the hill in the town of Brienz, the facilities are complete, and there is an indoor pool, dry steaming and sauna. The hotel has a terrace restaurant, the view is also very good, that is, Indian food tastes average. Health: It may be ecologically good, there are insects and moths in the cabin, and everything else is OK. Environment: Very good, this time I booked a family loft, I can see the mountain view on the back mountain side, if it is a lake view standard room, you should be able to see the lake view. Services: There is a shuttle bus to the train station, which is very good, otherwise the luggage up and down the mountain is definitely a big problem. Later, Switzerland can be used as a transit to Interlaken and Lucerne, if the price continues to maintain the advantage.

We made an overnight stay. The Hotel is around 10-12 minutes walk from the station. A sister Hotel Weisses Kreuz is right next to the station. The location is very good. Overlooking the lake and the beach promenade. The in house restaurant is good. We were satisfied with the dinner as well as the breakfast, however limited choice for vegetarians. The staff was helpful. The room was of decent size, on the smaller side. We found the price to be very expensive, but I believe it would be the same for most hotels in Brienz. A reasonable option for a short stay.

There were 16 of us for 2 nights. Everyone loved the hotel and we felt very comfortable. The dinners in particular were excellent. We also really appreciated the fact that the 4 children were given special attention. It is worth mentioning that the food was prepared for 4 people with special allergies and that alternatives were served as a matter of course, and these were also excellent. A huge ”thank you” for the commitment, the cooking skills and also for the great service. We will definitely stay at this hotel again and can only recommend it.
