Propreté : top ; Nourriture : correct ; Petit déjeuner: peut mieux faire (un effort sur les viennoiseries, bien trop dures) Hôtel bien tenu, personnel professionnel et très aimable (ce qui est vraiment un + quand on constate qu’à Douala un simple bonjour ou un sourire donne l’impression d’avoir offensé la personne qui le reçoit...certains me comprendront). Un grand merci aux dames du bar qui ont été adorables. Le gros bémol de cet hôtel pour moi était le manque d’insonorisation (téléphone et sonnettes des chambres avoisinantes, bruit dans les couloirs, claquement des portes) de ma chambre j’entendais tout ce qui se passait à l’extérieur mais je crains que rien ne puisse être fait à ce stade hormis peut-être de recommander gentiment aux résidents d’être moins bruyants dans les couloirs surtout en pleine nuit. Aussi l’odeur de nourriture dès l’entrée de l’hôtel soulève le cœur. J’ai pu voir le matin que le personnel désodorisait cet espace, malgré cela en journée et le soir, la même odeur y était. Dernier mauvais point la connexion internet instable. Le fait de devoir se reconnecter toutes les 5 minutes est éreintant. Sans compter que quelques fois elle ne passait tout simplement pas. Juste pour consulter des messages whatsapp ou même des mails. Malgré mes mauvaises nuits passées à cause du bruit je recommande vivement cet établissement qui est bien au-dessus des standards des hôtels 3 étoiles que j’ai pu voir à Douala. Bravo à vous ! PS : SVP essayez de revoir aussi le bruit des canalisations, de la chambre que j’occupais sur le 1er palier j’ai eu droit à tous les bruits d’écoulement des eaux des sanitaires des autres étages. Et quand je parle de bruits je parle de bruits assourdissants. Honnêtement votre hôtel est un bel établissement mais la problématique de l’insonorisation empêche d’apprécier son séjour.

The design of the hotel is very careful Exquisite to every single product, I want to have the same model The food in the restaurant is delicious and the professionalism of the hotel staff Although the room is not big, the bed is super comfortable. The bathroom configuration is very high-end. The music and fragrance of the hotel are carefully selected It’s really great to have such a hotel stay in Douala 🤩

I had a great experience at AKWA Palace hotel. The reception staff are amazing especially Miss Kadija and Miss Sylie, I recommend this place to anyone who wants a pleasant and stress free environment. Personally I think it’s a 5star rather than a 4star hotel.

Have stayed here several times and quality remains. They thought of everything in the room and the bed is comfortable. The food is delicious and prepared on demand. But what really sets them apart is the customer service: everyone is polite, smiles and helpful. Special shout out to Leonel, D’Aquin, the valet and room service teams. Truly the best in the city

J’ai séjourné 9 nuits, je le conseil vivement. Le service au top La disponibilité du personnels toujours à l’écoute grande chambre, le petit déjeuner grand choix et varies une belle sale de sport et merci au coach Steve qui était toujours disponible pour une remise en forme le matin. Encore plus à Emmanuelle et Sylvain que j’ai eu un cou de cœur merci encore pour tout et je vous dis à tout bientôt Pierrette

I would give this hotel a 5 rating. The service and cleanliness of the hotel are excellent. However, the €100 per day incidental charge is ridiculous. I had a 5 day stay, and had €500 held on my AMEX the entire stay. I called AMEX, and they said once funds are verified the merchant has the option of releasing the hold immediately. The hotel did not, even after I asked them, and informed them of the procedure outlined by AMEX. The real topper was that upon check out. I was told the card had to be run again because they had ”a system problem”. I argued with them that their system problem should not be my problem. They have the card authorization for €500. When they were able they should just charge the €134 against that authorization, and release the rest. I ended up having to let them run the card again. I was down €634 at the end of the day, with no idea when the €500 will be released. Be careful and aware!!!! I will not be staying there in my future trips to Paris!!!
