Best Western Hotel Porto Antico

We'll start with the good: 1. Location was central & really great 2. Breakfast was very good, and for only 4 euros The less good: 1. Internet was terrible. Hardly worked in the hotel. 2. The noise was bad. We heard everything going on in the nearby rooms. People flushing the toilet. Baby crying. Or a group of teenagers on a school trip made it feel like a hostel. We tried to rest before dinner and there was a hammer banging. 3. When we arrived and had questions about the area, the receptionist wasn't so nice and didn't have much patience. 4. The pillow case was not clean. We don't know if it was an iron stain..but shouldn't have been there

Porto Antico
Excellent 4-star hotel located in the ancient port a stone's throw from the historic center in front of the aquarium. I booked a room with a balcony and a view of the port and I was very satisfied both for the cleanliness and for the ample space available, including 4 Lavazza coffee capsules with relative machine, a 1/2 liter bottle of water in the room in addition to the various infusions to use with the kettle. Very friendly and helpful staff, the dining room very well furnished in ship style with ropes and sail inserts but not intrusive. Buffet breakfast with a wide choice and excellent ingredients, cappuccino or coffee made on the spot and served at the table. Even if for one night it is an experience to be repeated

Brignole - XX Settembre
Service has improved somewhat than before, and credit cards without UnionPay sign are finally available. It is cold to walk in this area with high buildings everywhere this season. There are not many train stations nearby, so you still have to see clearly and plan your trip.
Marina Place Resort

A good place to host if you are waiting for a flight because it is very close to the international airport of Genova. The hotel is 1km away from the airport, so if you have baggage you will need some transport to the airport and the hotel does not have any transfer. They were very kind, we were going out before 6:00 a.m., they prepared a basket with cookies and yoghurt for us last night. For anyone who wants to walk through Genova I don't recommend because it's a little far away.
Best Western Plus City Hotel

The location is very good, surrounded by attractions, call a car for three minutes. It takes ten minutes to walk from the pier, breakfast is very rich, it is worth staying again.
NH Genova Centro

Very good hotel, the room is clean and tidy, the breakfast is very rich, 5 minutes away from the city center, extremely convenient. Genova is cheap, 1,5 euros for a glass of 660ml Italian beer in the supermarket, 1,3 euros for mineral water, 0,15 euros for mineral water. At the Zhongyu Pavilion 6 euros you can eat a plate of stir-fried vegetables or two braised lion heads, all of which in Shanghai is unimaginable.
