We as permanent senior citizens from Sta.Rosa ,Laguna come to Matabunkay for almost 30 Years . Well this was the last time in Coral Beach! First: the bill of drinks doublet miraculously .My intervention and complain was noticed , We received a new one without the included refund. They thought they can keep the money, because I overtip mostly with 10% .And also no sorry for error! I claimed for refund and asked for at least an apology. Well this happened later numerous times from other employees! Bye the way we expats are often taken as walking ATM machines here . This about the so calld Filipino hospitality. 2. About 11pm I woke up from loud voices with laughing etc. out from the pool. I told them to shut up because I want to sleep .The probably Chinese guy with bacla friends aprouched me agressivly with intention to beat me up. I'm76 year old , with cancer and quite week. I gave up.....and went back to our room .They continued to swim until about 1am! 3.Barely sleeping we left the resort without breakfast around 6'30 Still confused and angry we forgot Phone fast charger and 3m extension Cable. But do you think we got noticed from the staff there ? They have our calling Nr and address. No ! Find out now if you want to go there ! I don't recommend it anymore . My previous reviews always are 5 Star. Now they get 3 !

My 2nd home in Matabungkay and definitely i give them more than 200% excellent service. We are very satisfied with our stay in this resort. from time we arrived until we left, we were treated very well like a family. Everyone of them, as in literally all of them, always made sure that we had everything we needed. All staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. they provided us everything we needed even before we ask them to. special thanks to Sir Joel na sobrang accommodating samin :). I'm Planning to go back again soon. Would definitely recommend this place.

Had a great time in this quiet uncrowded resort in Batangas. First i thought we were'nt able to push thru with this trip because our S-Pass keeps denied despite of multiple attempts. But all's well that ends well. We were welcomed by Mr. Dennis with warmed smile. We were of course studied the place we will be going (as i always did in all our trips) to avoid disappointments. Since i already knew that the resort is far from the city, we really prepared and buy all the things we needed good for 3 days stay. (so that you wont feel like you're trapped) Mr. Dennis gave us room number 1 and room number 2, the rooms were all neat, clean, with good a/c units, only, room 2 has no kettle provided but that's ok. If you have room reservation, cottage were already free to used, all cottages has garbage in the corner so you have garbage for all your trash. The place is relaxing, with cool air and many good spots for picture takings. The pool is clean, and not crowded, swim as long as you want. However, The beach in the afternoon is not swimmable because of low tide, so swim in the morning,,, you will also enjoy walking along the seashore. They also have mini sandbar in the middle of the seashore where we enjoyed swimming and picture takings. It was clean. They also have restaurant where you can order food but we were'nt able to try it since we have enough food for 3 days. You can bring your own ”baon” with a corkage of Php500.00 per room. (Mr. Dennis gave us discount and we just pay 500 corkage fee for the 2 rooms.) You can also grill as they have area for that, so just bring raw meat/seafood. Best if you have cooler for storage for your meats. Overall, we were satisfied. Given the chance, we will go back to this resort, quiet uncrowded, peaceful, calm. A place indeed for relaxation.
