GGuest UserI had a good stay at Sonderia! I booked a twin room as a solo traveler. The area is close to Wenshu Monastery and takes 10mins to the train station Line 1 but doesn’t feel that far. Bus stops are just in front of the hostel too. The bar area is a great spot to chill at night and meet other tourists.
Nicole at the reception was sooo nice and accommodating!! I was allowed to check out late (2pm instead of 12nn) and she even let me stay at the couch area at the bar so I can rest for an extra hour before my flight. She even bothered to lend me a comforter!! Thank you!! 🤍

GGuest UserThe entire B&B is very quaint and quite large for a B&B in the ancient town. We were given a free upgrade to the second floor. The room was clean and tidy, and the smart air conditioning worked very well. The Wind and Rain Covered Bridge is just a couple of hundred meters away, making it very convenient to enjoy the night view from the bridge. The next day, we visited the Pujiang Underground River. The boat ride was wonderful and well worth it.

AAlex H75Probably the nicest hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Amazing location with very clean rooms and amenities. You get a stunning view of the city from the balcony and roof of the building. They also have a coffee shop round the corner which serves great coffee.
The owners go to great efforts to make sure you feel looked after and enjoy your stay. They also have a very detailed book of recommendations of places to go during your time in Chongqing. I spent a week here but could have easily spent longer.
If you’re going to stay in Chongqing you should definitely stay here!

11862338****I stayed for three days and have to give this hostel a rave review. What I liked most was its cleanliness and brightness. The bathroom was constantly being cleaned by a staff member, so you could even walk barefoot in the shower without any problem. The sheets and blankets were changed in advance, so I could rest as soon as it was time to go. The beds were also very private, making me sleep very comfortably.
I also have to praise the manager – he was incredibly enthusiastic! He drew a map of nearby restaurants for me as soon as I arrived and patiently explained things to me for ages, worried I might get lost. In the evenings, they organize board games and chat like friends, so even traveling alone, I didn't feel lonely at all. The location is fantastic – super close to Hongyadong. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing!

GGuest UserLovely stay here! The rooftop was beautifully decorated and had a great view of the city. It’s located on the 32nd floor right next to the metro station. The vibe of the hostel was super chilled and the owner often put on evening activities. He invited us to drink tea, sing karaoke and even had a fruit party! So welcoming and fun definitely recommend especially for solo travellers.

GGuest UserThe location is quite close to the Eighteenth Ladder, and there are many restaurants nearby. The room price is not expensive, and the price is also suitable during the May Day holiday. The quadruple room I booked has its own bed curtains and its own privacy. It is convenient for boys to have one floor and girls to have one floor. There is also a cat that comes over as soon as it squats down.

MM452782****The room was clean and tidy, and the cleaning staff came every day. The location is also great; you can catch the subway right outside. It takes several escalators to reach the platform, which really lives up to Chongqing's reputation as a 'mountain city'! The owner was very friendly and helpful. When I first arrived, I couldn't find my way, and they kindly guided me. Excellent service and a really nice person.

Ccpdd..I traveled to Changsha with my friends. The environment is very nice and the facilities are complete. The aunt came to clean every day. It was very clean. A washing machine, disposable toothbrush, shower gel and shampoo were all provided. Usually, the toilets in youth hostels are not very clean when there are many people, but the aunt cleaned it very cleanly. It is worth staying in this homestay. There are double rooms and rooms for four and six people. It is very convenient. I love it.

DDenis_rusThe hotel left a mixed impression. In my opinion, it doesn't live up to its price. The room is small but not bad. The bed is big, but very hard. There are chairs and a table in the room, and that's nice. The windows don't close properly. But there is air conditioning. Without it, we would have simply frozen, because it was only 12 degrees at night.
The bathroom is bad and not well thought out. The shower is right in front of the toilet, and there are no partitions. If you wash yourself, the toilet will be flooded. I can't imagine how to use a shower here. The sink leaks. There is an unpleasant musty smell in the bathroom.
The location is good. Not far from the center. It's quiet here.
The staff probably didn't like us. But the attitude was clearly cold. Perhaps they don't like foreigners who don't know Chinese.

AAnonymous UserI booked a room with a sofa and he put me in a shared room for 6 people. I asked him why and he told me that it was just that and that was it. I asked him that I had booked a single room and he told me that this was what it was. I feel scammed and on top of that, he didn't do anything on his part.
