GGuest UserThe room was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a really comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, very close to all the main attractions, and there are tons of delicious hot pot places nearby. I've actually stayed here multiple times, and it was a great base for my first trip to Chongqing.

GGuest User🚗For self-driving trips, a hotel with parking is the top choice. This one has parking right at the entrance. The parking lot isn't great, but it's convenient.
🚶 The hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes' walk from the visitor center, where you can take the scenic bus to the Puhua Underground River. You can also visit the covered bridge and explore the ancient town.
🏠 I stayed in a standard room on the second floor. The beds were one 1.1 meters and one 1.2 meters, not the 1.3 meters listed online. Cleanliness was average, and the room had a slightly musty smell, likely due to the recent heavy rains.
🍽️ There are plenty of restaurants nearby, but I didn't find any good ones. The Qianjiang chicken offal hotpot, at 98 yuan, is actually less expensive than the 58 yuan in the main city. The noodle shop's seasoning wasn't very fragrant, and the mung bean noodles were a bit hard and tough.
📄 Overall, for a one-night stay with no high standards, I recommend this hotel.

MM635999****I found this hostel on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) through a recommendation. It's currently off-season, so the price is especially cheap. The bedding is very clean (no need to put on your own). It's conveniently located just steps from a shopping district, which is also quite lively. They have everything women need, including curling irons. It's also very reassuring to be surrounded by women. Plus, there are plenty of seats, making it convenient for doing makeup and eating (I chose this hostel because of the large windows and natural light; I prefer doing my makeup in natural light). Later, I accidentally left my ID card there, and after telling the owner, they immediately found it for me and even mailed it back. I'm so grateful! I highly recommend it; it's great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

At first, climbing the mountain was a bit tired, so I got used to it.

GGuest UserIt is a very good youth hostel, very close to the main scenic spots. It is a self-service check-in youth hostel with a housekeeper. When you arrive at the place, give it to the owner in advance. The room layout is the same as what you see on the platform (forgive me for not taking pictures, so I'll take a picture of the owner's 🐱 hahahaha~)

GGuest UserI was in transit in Chongqing for about 12 hours and wanted to explore this beautiful city. So I booked this place just to leave my bag on deposit and to rest in the lounge area. It was a good choice, not only for the excellent location, a couple hundred meters from the metro, but also because of the laid back atmosphere and friendly service.

GGuest UserFriendly and helpful staff, cute cats, and large communal areas. Conveniently located right next to metro stop with direct lines to the north station and airport, as well as easy access to many tourist locations.
However, 4 bed dorm was tiny and the lockers very small, so if you had a big suitcase I'm not sure how it would work. Beds themselves were nice though, good aircon. Bit dirty in the dorm. ¥5 for detergent and around ¥5 for washing machine.

Just for overnight to visit the attractions in the area, this place is sufficient and value for money.
Thanks to them we had complimentary breakfast. Though simple, with hot porridge, it is good enough for the old folks travelling in our group. Thank you !

GGuest UserVery difficult to find, it is on the top floor of an apartment building and there are no signs to indicate it is there until you have got out the elevator and walked up 2 flights of stairs. Make sure you reach out to the owner before arriving and he will be able to help you and speaks great English. We didn’t do this and found out the hard way!
Owner was very friendly, able to book trips for us and recommend things to do. In a great location. You get what you pay for, but this was a great budget option!
