We regretted visiting Danzhai, as it's really nothing special at all (if you're looking for a genuine minority village, this is not the place...) and the entire town smells like burning trash. However, this hotel was perfectly up to standard -- and if you have to stay in Danzhai, we recommend this place. We got a spacious room, though small bathroom with no barrier between the toilet and shower, but a small enclosed balcony for hanging hand-washed laundry which we appreciated in the middle of our trip. Our queen bed was incredibly comfortable, but the twin bed in our room (we didn't need it) was a different kind of mattress and quite hard. Hotel is almost directly across from the entrance to the ”village” (outdoor shopping area) and has parking right in front. Was a fine place to stay for one night on our way to other places. Very clean and new.

The boss is a fellow countryman, so he will definitely give good reviews hahaha. There is a large couch in the lobby. I don’t know what style it is. It’s beautiful! The room for two people was very clean and hygienic. You can wash clothes, and it's right in the ancient town, so it's very convenient to go out for a walk. Zhenyuan is really great, Amway for everyone!

Get off the bus in the scenic area, walk straight for a while, cross the bridge and walk for a while, follow the location and it will be OK, about ten minutes. Hotel has a beautiful view of the main gate and some of the houses, really nice even at night. Staff were really helpful, let me choose my floor. The room was freezing, so cold. The air-conditioned was on for hours and made almost no difference. Thankfully there were heated blankets otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep. If visiting in winter, prepare to be cold.
