Hostels in Guizhou, China

This is the best hostel I've ever stayed at (and I've stayed in Chongqing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Guiyang, Hangzhou, and Changsha) – incredible value for money! The environment is clean and stylish, and the front desk staff are super professional, friendly, and enthusiastic. All the facilities are fully equipped and working perfectly. Life here is incredibly convenient; the subway station, Taiping Road, bus stops, convenience stores, and restaurants are all right downstairs. You won't have to worry about food, entertainment, or transportation. Jiaxiu Tower and Qingyun Market are also very close by! The beds were already made for us, and both the mattress and reading light were super comfortable. I, someone who often struggles with insomnia, fell asleep very quickly.

Amazing hostel! Super clean, kind staff, a lot of space in the common areas! You can also watch a film on a projector (I couldn't figure it out as I don't speak Chinese), read something, or have a drink at the bar. It was surprisingly quiet. There's a locker room where you can leave your luggage. In the bathroom they also provide scrunchies and cleansing wipes, and in the room you've got a disposable towel for each day plus a toothbrush+toothpaste set. They've got decently priced local snacks and souvenirs (eg. magnets and pins), which is great! Location-wise, it's very close to the station (around 10 yuen taxi to Guiyangbei railway station), downstairs there's a mini market, and if you walk around the block, you'll see a lot of food places (open even late at night). There are no signs showing where the hotel is so when the taxi drops you off, find a lift (outside the building) and go to the 3rd floor. I do recommend it a lot! :)

Superb place to stay with high cp value! Spacious, free laundry, nice design - just like staying in a cafe. Full with amenities like heater, fan, hanger and thick privacy curtain all at bedsides. Even kitchen and refrigerator are sparkling clean, hey this is god damn rare in china ok! Guests staying here are lacking of travel vibes but they are cool and peace, everyone seems like maintaining the cleanliness together! Say no more, you can check my pictures to express my feeling better. Definitely my best stay in China! (Tips: the bed is a bit hard for me but still it is Abt solid 3 inches thick) If u don't mind this is definitely the place to stay peacefully, surrounding by all kind of malls, bars, clubs and cheap restaurants! The boss is very friendly and polite too (normally Chinese won't answer much to requests but he did all for me!) thanks boss!👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏💯💯🍀🍀

We had a lovely stay with this kind young family. Our favourite part was eating a delicious dinner with the family around their wood fire, we will fondly remember this. (Make sure to reserve dinner with them as the restaurants in the village close at night in winter, also it's much nicer to eat as a family). We communicated with translation apps and learned a lot about the village life and culture. The wife kindly opened her shop out of hours for us too. Remember to bring thermal clothes for the mountain at night time. In the morning we found a delicious and modern coffee shop in the square with the pond. In December the welcome ceremony was at 11am at the village entrance with a show at 11.30am outside the museum. Thank you again to this lovely family for hosting us, we had a fabulous time together.

Great place to stay for one or two nights. Close to the North station and Metro station. Clean, but under the bed a wide layer of dust, need to remove) bed wide, seats many. In general, there is a chair, table, microwave, drinking water. the toilet is very clean, but instead of the door blinds, it is strange) in general I am pleased, I can recommend other travelers.

Completed a night stay at this functional inn stay. Was traveling from ZhenYuan ancient town to this historical town via public bus 203. As my arrival was quite late in the evening, navigating from the bus terminal was done in the dark limited street light Managed to locate the small inn In one of the small alley with the guide of many kind local folks and shop keepers. A TV and a clean fan helps with the stay. Explore the surrounding area in the morning before late checkup.

Service: The proprietress was really nice; she even offered us some of her homemade bayberry drink. When it rained, she kindly helped us move our clothes under the shelter. Environment: The guesthouse is situated on the commercial street directly opposite the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's just a few minutes' walk to the park entrance, making the location excellent. There are also a few parking spots available right outside, which is convenient for those driving. Facilities: On the first floor, there's a small courtyard for drying clothes. The TV isn't a smart TV, and the shower runs on an electric water heater. The bathroom lacks a wet/dry separation and is very cramped. The shower head is uncomfortably close to both the toilet and the sink, and the storage shelf was broken. Overall, the bathroom is extremely basic. The sink's water pressure was far too strong; when I turned it on, water sprayed everywhere! A bathroom like this, reminiscent of a hostel's, really doesn't justify a price tag of over 300 RMB. The air conditioner blows directly onto the bed, which gave me a headache at night. I'd recommend the owner install an air deflector. Hygiene: Hygiene was just average. I'd suggest cleaning the bathroom door and especially the water cups – even if unused, the overall impression was quite unappetizing. Finally: Finally, the room we stayed in looked nothing like the photos displayed on Ctrip. Perhaps the room shown in the pictures was given to other guests. The advertised room had enough space between the TV and bed to comfortably fit a small table with two chairs. Our room, however, was incredibly small; simply placing a suitcase between the bed and TV made it feel extremely cramped! It certainly didn't match the square footage mentioned in the description. I highly recommend separating these room types for sale from the promotional photos, as this is very misleading! The price wasn't cheap, yet the room quality was so poor...

The location is excellent, right outside the Fountain Metro Station. The female and male dorms, as well as the common areas, are on separate floors. The common area offers city views, and it's quite enjoyable to dine while taking in the nightscape. The front desk staff was very friendly. One night, I returned late to the common area for a late-night snack and found it much livelier than during the day. The staff member, who I thought had already finished her shift, was chatting and playing games with guests. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The lockable locker was spacious. The cleaned restrooms were spotless; though, by night, there would be some water and hair on the floor, which is understandable given how many people share them. There's a hairdryer, washing machine, and dryer, plus a place to hang clothes. Disposable bath towels, toothbrushes, and toothpaste are provided, and the bathrooms have shampoo and shower gel. The common area has a water dispenser and a coffee machine – basically, all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel are available here. Aside from the elevator being a bit slow during peak hours, which can be stressful if you're in a hurry, everything else was very satisfying. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Guiyang.

Hello, I had a very pleasant stay at Zunyi Tingzhen Inn hotel in Zunyi. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with all the necessary amenities. The staff were very friendly, polite, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is convenient, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zunyi. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

This was my first time in Xingyi, and I chose this hostel. The owner was very kind and helpful, patiently answering any questions I had. The hostel was newly renovated, comfortable, and clean. The bedding was changed after each guest, and I didn't have to make my own bed or unpack it when I left. The common area was spacious, perfect for chatting or relaxing. The hostel was conveniently located near transportation and restaurants, and it was also close to the prefectural library and museum, just a few hundred meters away. For just over 30 yuan, the air conditioning was unlimited, the washing machine was free, there was drinking water, and free toilet paper in the restrooms and common areas – a great deal! In short, this is the perfect hostel in Xingyi, and I'll definitely come back. I wish the owner great success and prosperity.
