On a business trip to Hong Kong, my company only covered accommodation up to Shenzhen. Not wanting to deal with the hassle of crossing the Futian Port early in the morning, I decided to pay for a night's stay in Hong Kong myself.
This hostel is about a 5-minute walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR station, which is super convenient. The building's front desk has 24-hour security personnel. After checking in on the 2nd floor, you use your room card to access your floor in the elevator, which made me feel very safe.
I stayed in a quad room with an in-room toilet and shower. Toilet paper, shampoo, and shower gel were provided. Other toiletries, towels, and slippers could be purchased at the front desk. Each bunk had a blackout curtain, and the bedside power sockets were compatible with mainland Chinese plugs, which was really handy. The bedside lamp offered soft lighting. Overall, it was very convenient. The best part? A night's stay here only cost about 70 RMB! This is Hong Kong, you know? That's pretty much the same price as in mainland China. It's an incredible value for money!

My experience at the hostel was pleasant. I stayed at a double room for 3 nights.
Location wise it’s a little bit far from the MTR stations. It’s pretty clean but everything’s a bit time-worn. The bathroom doesn’t really dry so there were some drain flies, which was not desirable but understandable. The bed was harder than I would like but I made do covering it with another blanket from the other bed that I was not using.
One big issue was that the power outlets were at the desk instead of next to the beds like most hotels and it was really inconvenient. Another troublesome thing is that you must bring the bed, pillow and duvet covers when you check out. That was pretty difficult as I needed to bring two portions of that on my own.
Didn’t know it came with breakfast vouchers at the restaurant and I got to try it once. It was not bad for a free breakfast. Not sure if I would pay to eat there.

I stayed in a 6-bed dorm with a private bathroom. Free WiFi and power adapters were provided, and communication was excellent. It offered good value for money, and the owner was very friendly. It's a great option for a layover during your travels. I forgot to take pictures, so I'm using some from other reviews.

The hotel's location is ideal, easy to find, and close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. There are many brand-name shops and restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of choices, and it's also very convenient for late-night snacks. The hotel room facilities are good, with air conditioning and plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The common areas are spacious, suitable for large gatherings. The reception service is excellent. Highly recommended!

This hostel is super convenient, located right in Tsim Sha Tsui. Just exit A1 from the MTR and cross the road, and you're there! I stayed in room 1302 of Haiphong Mansion. The owner who checked me in was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. On the first day, she arranged for us to stay on the 9th floor in an 8-person room. The beds were clean, and the bedding was comfortable. It's definitely my top choice for accommodation when visiting Hong Kong.
Facilities: There's a free shuttle bus up to the hostel, or you can take a taxi, or even walk – all very convenient.
Hygiene: Clean and hygienic.
Environment: The night view is absolutely stunning! You can see the entire Victoria Harbour night view without any obstructions, and it's so quiet and peaceful – perfect for enjoying life!
Service: There's a free kitchen available for cooking.

You get what you paid for. For that price. It's considered ok for that location with that kind of arrangement. HK is known for space scarcity and high price. Many shops nearby.
Phone shop at ground floor selling various second hand phones with reasonable price. Many food shops available. Opposite got ladies market.
Pity The receptionist. The working environment and the amount of pressure for a period of long time had turned her into emotionally and mentally unstable person with frequent up & down for no reason. You give phone or passport, she kind of throw back to you. You speak English, she speak mandarin, you speak mandarin, she speak English. Pity her, nobody to help her.
Maybe she even not getting her pay properly. Who knows. So don't focus on her, focus on your purpose, that's a bed for you.
She is IT expert will WhatsApp to you all the passwords and bed details. Make your life pretty easy.

Great location, very convenient for transportation and lots of food options. Easy to get anywhere. Downstairs and nearby, there are delicious wonton noodles, fish ball soup, pizza, and more. It's also convenient to take a taxi to Victoria Peak, and close to Causeway Bay and Lan Kwai Fong. The location is truly excellent!

We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem.
The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel.
Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch.
Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget.
We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us.
The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!
MMax_Nicole_When I booked I didn't knew it was in the Chungking Mansion. Its know as the ghetto. Let's start with the good thing. It has a great location, close to everything. The problem is that Chungking mansion is a massive appartement complex and has a streetmarket down. It is really unsafe according to fire safety. Everything has dust and I got really claustrophobic. The first night I didn't sleep cause I was scared of getting trapped in case of a fire.
The cover of the bed was really dirty and had body liquid stains and fungus. So I end up sleeping under my disposable towel. I would have really want to go to another appartement, but I already paid really much money and a better place would have even cost way more money.

GGuest UserI was really skeptical about staying at this budget hotel but it surpassed expectations. This was a booking made at the last minute as the other hotels we usually stay at were very very expensive on that particular night. Be prepared for really tiny rooms and a miniscule bathroom. Between the room door and the bed there was no space to lay down and open a standard 24” suitcase. Had to place my suitcase on the bed to be able to open it. If I stretched my arms out at 90 degrees I could touch both walls of the bathroom - it's a tiny square with just enough space to stand in one place and shower with the toilet and sink right in front of your body. The shower head was actually placed right above the toilet which was a first for me but if you are not too fussy it's manageable. You don't get any bath, face or hand towels - it's all one time use disposable stuff made from non-woven fibers - again a first for me in a hotel. But having said that it was still decent value for money. I paid less than half of what I would have paid at one of the hotels I regularly stay at. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. When I returned to collect my bag they just looked up and pointed straight at my bag amongst a pile of suitcases without any luggage ticket. Location is outstanding - in the heart of TST with the MTR station just across the road - very very convenient.
JJiaowonanshenjiuhaoleI had heard that hotels in Hong Kong were small and expensive, but this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. It was very clean, and the room was larger than I anticipated, even featuring a big and a small bed. Plus, the large window offered a great view directly onto Nathan Road. I'm very satisfied.
AAnonymous UserThe front desk and the room are not in the same area, the front desk is in A, and the room is in D. People arrived late, Peter at the front desk was very enthusiastic, and he also upgraded the independent guard and introduced the details of the stay. like
ZZiyouThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right at the intersection of Argyle Street and Tung Choi Street, and just a stone's throw from Mong Kok MTR station. The A21 airport bus stop is also right on Nathan Road. The rooms are fully equipped and spotlessly clean. The owner is warm and attentive.
GGuest UserIt’s a shame as it could be a good place it’s got the makings but needs some attention..The worst thing is they need new mattresses in the pods as there about 2cm thick it’s like sleeping on the floor I was waking up every night having to move as I was in a bit of pain and there was cock roaches coming out of the fridge as it needed a clean
Also the toilet paper needs more in every day as it was running out daily.
Also the aircon was leaking next to my pod I sent them a message to turn it off as it was not that hot when I was there ans they had it in the other rooms so you could of left the door open or better still get it fixed as I was there for 4 day and nothing
I would not stay again but if them issues was taken care of I would as it’s not a bad place.
GGuest UserThe room was comfortable, very clean, and although small, it felt quite new. The shower gel and shampoo were excellent and smelled great; my hair felt lovely and bouncy after washing. A standout feature was that I didn't need a travel adapter to charge my phone, which was really convenient. They also provided a hot and cold water dispenser, and when we bought instant noodles back one evening, the front desk even supplied chopsticks. You can tell the owner pays great attention to detail. The location is superb! We took the high-speed rail from Futian, Shenzhen, to West Kowloon, and it was just a 20-minute walk along Canton Road, passing shops along the way. In the evening, it was also a short walk to Victoria Harbour and the Avenue of Stars, which we really appreciated. The staff were very thoughtful, recommending local eateries, and they stored our luggage after check-out. On the day we checked in, my family wasn't feeling well, and the gentleman at the front desk specially went out to buy medicine for us, which we were very grateful for. Our stay in Hong Kong was excellent, and we had a wonderful trip.
GGuest UserFacilities: The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained. They've thought of everything, from basic necessities to thoughtful conveniences, making for a perfect experience.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness is outstanding. Every corner is spotless, and all amenities are thoroughly disinfected, which gave me great peace of mind.
Environment: The overall environment is quiet and comfortable with a great ambiance. It's perfect whether you want to relax or focus on work – a truly pleasant place to be.
Service: The staff are warm, attentive, and quick to respond. They are also incredibly patient and promptly addressed all my needs. My impression of them couldn't be higher.
