The mattress was really soft, the blackout curtains worked great, and the bed was huge (bigger than a dorm bed, haha). The common areas were thoughtful and convenient, with every toiletry you could think of, and even some you didn't! They play movies in the lobby at night, which creates a really nice atmosphere. Plus, there's a convenience store next door where you can grab breakfast.

I had a very comfortable stay. The owner was super nice, and the environment was beautiful and clean. The landlady cleaned every day! It's really close to the subway station, just 100m from Huangxing Square. There are plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment nearby. Guys, I've even seen this place half an hour after checking out.

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! The host is so unbelievably friendly and kind, and the dinner was so good and I got to meet many travellers staying there too! It is my first time travelling solo and I met amazing people here. The hostel is within walking distance from the forest park’s east gate. There are a few restaurants less than a minute’s walk nearby. The hostel itself is very clean with sheets you can change yourself, as well as having a night light and foldable table. Toilets are shared among the same gender, shampoo and body wash is provided. There’s even a rooftop space for you to hangout at. I highly recommend staying here if you’re a solo traveller as you’ll feel so welcome here! P.S. you can book tickets through the host as it is discounted as well!

Very nice little place. Owners are friendly and helpful. There is a common area and good wifi, many floors (8+) and many different rooms. Free laundry on the balcony and drinking water, microwave and hot water available, with a food steamer as well. The location is easy to find, close to the river and the main area for the night show. Although the humidity is insane in this little town, this hostel tries to fight it with these machines that dehumidify the air. So in the dorms you will see a bit of mould, but I think all in all that can't be avoided in a humid town like this. Overal it is a nice little stay, the only improvement would be for the cleaning to be immaculate. Recommend 100% if you are a low budget backpacker!

My stay was a great experience, the place is very quiet, very clean and everything is very tidy. It is well located, near the Tianmen Cableway Station and the Central Bus Station, in case you require a taxi service or a tour, they will provide you with the information. They have a washing machine so you can use it, which is very practical and convenient. The owner is very nice, friendly and attentive to whatever you need. Without a doubt, when I return to Zhangjiajie I will stay here.

The hotel is quite close to Wulingyuan Bus Station, about a 5-minute walk. There are breakfast shops and convenience stores right outside, so the location is pretty convenient. The room has two bathrooms and provides disposable toothbrushes and bath towels. There's also a free washing machine on the sixth floor. The room was a bit damp, and the doors were a bit noisy when opening and closing, but the curtains were excellent at blocking out light.

It has everything you need and the boss is nice. I will come again next time.

I saw this hostel reviewed on Xiaohongshu and booked two nights based on the great photos on their profile. The location is excellent, nestled in an alley right opposite Yuelu Mountain. It's a lovely, quiet spot. The bed was big and very soft, and the dorms are separated by gender. The bathroom and toilet are combined, and the shower pressure is fantastic. They have a cute poodle, and I also saw a black cat in the lobby and a Siamese cat on the rooftop where I was drying my clothes. Overall, I was really happy, so I extended my stay by another night! Just two minor points: the lighting in the glass room on the first floor is quite harsh, making it impossible to see my face when putting on makeup. Also, the Wi-Fi in my third-floor room was incredibly slow; I had to go downstairs to work on my tablet. Hope they can improve that!

I didn’t expect hotel bookings to be so popular during the Spring Festival holiday. We arrived at Mugen Youth Hostel at around 10 pm on the third day of the Chinese New Year. Since we were traveling as a family, the male and female combination did not quite meet the requirements of the youth hostel. However, the owner was careful and enthusiastic in contacting a room for us. Unfortunately, the surrounding area was too crowded that night. In the end, he still found a way to make room for us, solving the big problem of accommodation. I give a big thumbs up to that group of enthusiastic young people 👍 Moreover, the accommodation and sanitary environment of the hostel are really quite good, the price is affordable, and the room is clean and tidy. Even a middle-aged aunt like me was surprised. The rooms are divided into male and female rooms, and they are not mixed. A room usually has six beds, two bathrooms, spacious space, and private storage space. There are public entertainment facilities outside, including a book bar, games, billiards, etc. It is really suitable for young backpackers.

After the Spring Festival, I came to find a house. It was raining, cold, and there were few people. There was one of me in the quadruple room. It was very quiet and quiet during the day (because there are many student parties here, in order to take the exam, I basically understand the hidden rules. If there are some people who affect people's rest, the proprietress will also remind you friendly), Sleeping at night is also quiet (except for the sound of the Japanese food next door during dinner hours: Ding Dong, xx please eat). The warmest thing here is the intimate care of the proprietress (for example, knowing that I am not looking for a house smoothly will comfort and make suggestions, and I will help if I encounter some small things), and the hot water for bathing is hotter than at home, and the water is smooth, available 24 hours a day. Wait a minute and it's hot. The capsule's bed has three bright lights that can meet various needs (such as reading a book, afraid of the dark habit of turning on the night light). There is also a place to dry clothes. Although it has been raining and it is not easy to dry, the hair dryer in the room is very powerful and can be emergency. If you can't, you can also find the proprietress to pay for the dryer. To say that there are any shortcomings, it is not controlled by the boss and the proprietress, such as the quality of passengers, the smell and sound of the surrounding restaurants. If you want to experience a high-quality internal and external environment, you can go to the two heavyweight hotels that Chairman Mao stayed in that year and the garden.
