This hostel has an amazing location! There are several highly-rated restaurants from Dazhong Dianping's must-eat list within 1km. If you're coming to Xi'an for noodles, like me, you absolutely have to choose this place, haha! It's also very clean, and they ask you to change into slippers when you enter. This is the first time I've encountered a hostel that's both affordable and has strict rules (like no smoking, they have a dedicated smoking room). There's an elevator inside the hostel, but you still have to climb a small flight of stairs. The four-person room has eight people sharing two bathrooms. The only minor drawback is that both are Western-style toilets; it would be perfect if one was a squat toilet to accommodate different preferences. It's located in Dapi Lane, basically inside the Muslim Quarter, surrounded by delicious food. The downside to this is that shared bikes aren't allowed to park inside the alley; you have to find a parking spot at the alley entrance. So, no matter if you're taking a taxi or a shared bike, you'll have to walk a bit, but it's only a few hundred meters, so not too far. I truly recommend this hostel. I'm currently staying at a hostel in another city and constantly missing the facilities and strict rules of this one 😢

I stayed at Desti Hostel during 3 nights. Everything was amazing. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean. There is a whole female-only floor which is really great. They give you slippers to walk around the hostel. I used the washing machine and they were really easy to use through Alipay for a someone who doesn’t speak chinese, the reception even provides free pods detergent for your washing. You have also have a drinking water dispenser in the lobby The location is perfect, it is a 5 minutes walk to the Muslim Quarter, you are night next to the Bell Towerand you have a direct bus that leaves to the Teracotta warriors right next to the hostel. For anyone staying in Xi’An, this is a great way place to stay.

The hotel's location is pretty good, but there's an underpass that can easily lead you in the wrong direction towards the Bell Tower. It's next to a mall with an elevator. I'd recommend checking in during the day, as it might be hard to spot the entrance in the dark morning. The service is very thoughtful and quiet, and the bedding is clean. The only downside is the trash bin in the bathroom, which was overflowing with trash. The cleaning staff only tidied up once, and unfortunately, many guests aren't considerate. Also, the toilet and shower area are quite small; larger individuals might find it difficult to turn around. The outdoor lounge area is nice, spacious, and perfect for some quiet solo time. The hotel also offers free umbrellas for guests to borrow. Overall, it's great value for money.

The owner was very kind and had a great attitude. However, the facilities are a bit old, probably because it's been open for a few years. The room was a bit cold, but there was an electric blanket, so it was fine once I was in bed. The price was cheap though, so it wasn't a big deal, and the location was excellent.

The problem is just the cleanliness, the toilet is really messy and nasty, but the rooms are nice, clean bed sheets , no stinky smell on the pillows or anything which makes a balance with the poor hygiene, the boss was really helpful, he's on alert whenever you need something, there is no noise or anything that bothers at night besides the smoke smell in some spots close to the rooms because they secretly smoke.the motel is in a good location, not so far from muslim street and stuff and ofc it was worth the experience especially if you're staying just for a night or two , i don't recommend more

The hotel environment is absolutely fantastic – clean, tidy, and wonderfully quiet. The overall decor is cozy yet stylish, making for a truly comfortable stay. The service attitude is superb; the staff are warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request, handling details perfectly. Room hygiene is meticulously maintained; it's spotless, and the bedding is so comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful stay. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. It's perfect for both business trips and holidays. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm here. Highly recommended!

This hotel is very good location and clean, I really enjoy taking a rest at this hotel, really appreciate that it's very near to Tiyuchang metro station (Exit D). There are many restaurants and convenient stores nearby the building that is very convenient. The hotel staff and the hotel owner also give a warm welcome to me, thank you so much. Everything in the hotel is clean and convenient. I will come to use service from this hotel again next time. And this hotel is near to travel spots (small wild goose, Xian museum), it's very good location hotel.

I loved the customer service of the staff. I wish I had the name of the young lady who helped me during check-in, but she was so kind and welcoming. I appreciated her showing me around and guiding me to the room. The location was amazing - on the 6th floor of a building right next to the Zhonglue metro station and the Bell/Drum Tower sights. There was an amazing shop that had the most delicious meat buns (Rojiamo). The only suggestion I have for the hotel is to look into the door of Room 3206 right across from the men’s bathroom. The door didn’t close often and hearing the noises of the bathroom was not pleasant. But otherwise I had a great stay. Special kudos to the musician who played over the weekend and the layout of the common room. I truly enjoyed my stay here!

I'll definitely return here on my next trip to Xi'an, and I'd happily bring my family to stay. I truly loved it and wholeheartedly recommend it! You can really feel the warmth and care for guests. They offer great amenities like a water dispenser, washing machine, microwave, and even computers for use. The staff are professional, enthusiastic, and very responsible. Plus, the location is superb, with the subway entrance right outside, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere.

I liked my stay here a lot. It's a cozy hostel where you feel at home. Beds have individual lights and outlets, there are lockers available. Well located, with groceries and local restaurants around. Next to metro and the Bell Tower. And the lady who runs the place is very thoughtful and kind. I would stay here again
