Great hostel for incredible value. Location is close to night markets and public transport. Room is clean with a great hot shower. Social area on floor B2, isn't obvious that it's there and not told about it by staff, but has kitchenette and lots of sofas. Beds were comfortable and big with light and curtain. Only thing could be adding a small shelf above the bed and some coat hooks in the communal area. Also it wasn't possible to have the light on at the same time as having something plugged in (could just be our large plug). Overall amazing value and wouldn't hesitate to book again in future! Photo of nearby night market and of a very nice restaurant local to the hotel - Fuhong Beef Noodle Restaurant. Enjoy!

If check-in process becomes fully automated, the personal touch for service will deem to be as cold as a robot, and may spoilt the mood for traveller whenever we wish to ask questions about travel activities. Next, after office hours, the shutter roller of the front counter is closed, hence there will be no access to water dispenser. Maybe hotel should consider to install a water dispenser for stayers to refill water, etc

Very well located within the park. Less than 5 minutes walk to rhe tourist information centre and all the eateries as well as transportation to the rest of the park. Breakast vouchers given to be exchanged at one the restaurants nearby. Highly recommended for the price point.

The hotel is very clean and the room that we booked for a couple of days was awesome. Staffs were kind and can speak english. They were very helpful and they won't let you wait longer when you arrive at the hotel. Their service was great. Complete toiletries, beautiful room. The bathroom is so spacious with hot and cold shower. There's a glass division, where the shower area is separated to the toilet area. Nice 🛁 and very comfortable. Our bed was so comfy and perfect for a rest after a long day of sightseeing and walking around taipei area. We had a wonderful experience in beauty hotel and definitely will come back again. By the way, the hotel has a nice small lounge and a section where you can make a coffee for free. Plus they also has a water refilling station so you don'tneed to buy water from outside. The location of the hotel is also perfect because it is near to Jiantan train station and surrounded with lots of restaurants, bakery, coffee and tea shop and 7 eleven.

Pros: 1. 5 Stars service- Sam Chen and his team were very professional yet friendly from Day 1. They helped us make reservations at a popular restaurant upon our request and also arranged for a rental car (driver included!) 2. Perfect location- 5 mins walk from Taipei train station exit M5 3. Clean rooms and bathrooms- Tidy upon check in and daily housekeeping was diligently done (look at the spotless bathroom attached) Cons: 1. Not much of a view from window 2. Wifi is not strong in the rooms (Concierge solved this for us by installing a router in our room!)

The only thing I feel a little want to talk about is that I want to take a shower after watching the sunrise in the morning. There is no hot water. Everything else is very good, soundproof, quiet, and cold enough. The water pressure is sufficient. I didn't eat breakfast because I had too much yesterday. The people in the same group said it was good. Drinks are available 24 hours a day, it is Roselle tea, delicious.

Somer Hotel is a gem of a place to stay in Tainan. I stayed in two different rooms during my stay, one being the tatami room and one Western hotel style. Both were spacious, clean, and really comfortable. My favorite part was the snack and drink tray provided and refilled each night so that guests can try delicious ********* food. The breakfast provided was varied and delicious. You do have to reserve the time you want to eat, but that prevents long lines and crowding during the meal. The lounge where breakfast is served is also a nice place to hang out or do work outside of the hotel room. Other amenities like wifi and the bathroom products provided were great. Service was really good and the staff was extremely welcoming and helped us to call a taxi when we needed one. The hotel is in a great location and is easily walkable to historical landmark Chikan Tower and numerous restaurants and markets. I would definitely recommend Somer Hotel as a home base for exploring or even somewhere to take naps and relax while experiencing all the amazing food that Tainan has to offer.

The hotel is located near Taipei Main Station. The location is quite ideal. I had to catch the Taoyuan Express in the morning, so I chose it. I was not disappointed. It is very close to the entrance of the Express, and there are convenience stores, restaurants, and restaurants nearby. Quite a few, it can cover almost all the needs in life. The room I stayed in this time was very tidy and had a lot of space. The bedding and supplies were very comfortable and well-prepared. The front desk staff was also very enthusiastic. The experience this time was full marks. I will stay again if I have the opportunity.
