This hostel in Yining is a hidden gem! With a balcony room and heartwarming service, I could stay for ten days and still not want to leave. I stayed at Backpackers 10 Years Hostel, right by Yining Railway Station, for almost ten days, and the experience was incredible! I have to recommend my favorite room – it comes with a small balcony. In the mornings, I'd curl up in a chair, soaking in the sun and reading. In the afternoons, I'd simply relax in the warm light. It was so gentle and therapeutic, making for an incredibly relaxing stay. The hostel environment also exceeded my expectations: the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean. The ground floor common area was fully equipped with billiards, table tennis, and a reading nook, making leisure and entertainment super convenient. What touched me the most was the human touch! I sprained my ankle hiking (unrelated to the hostel), and the front desk, owner, and customer service staff were all incredibly kind. They actively checked in on me, brought hot water, and even gave me safflower oil. The hostel's dog also quietly stayed by my side. The kindness I received in a foreign land was truly moving. The location is close to the train station, making travel convenient. The cleanliness, service, and value for money were all top-notch. This place doesn't feel like a hostel; it's more like a warm little harbor. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yining! Highly recommended! ❤️

No exaggeration, you'll understand what 'value' means once you've stayed here. 📍Location It's right in Liuxing Street; just follow your navigation. Step outside and you're surrounded by all sorts of food, drinks, and shops – super convenient. Walking back at night, the street isn't dark or isolated, so even if you're alone, you feel safe. The best part is – it's quiet, so you can really get a good night's sleep. 🛏️Facilities The beds are sturdy; no creaks or wobbles when you turn over, which is super important for guys. Each bed has a curtain, a light, and power outlets, so you can charge your phone, play games, or watch videos without disturbing anyone. The cafe is good; the black coffee is strong enough. It’s a great spot to browse your phone, edit photos, or just zone out. The kitchen is available and well-equipped with pots, pans, and everything you need. If you want to save money and cook some noodles or reheat food, it's no problem. Reading room? Yes. The sofas are comfy. There aren't many books, but a few are worth reading. If you're tired, you can just sprawl out there for a bit, and no one will bother you. 🧼Cleanliness I have to say – it's clean. The bathroom has no strange smells or limescale, and the drain isn't clogged. The bed sheets are white, with no stains or hair. Guys might not be as particular, but the cleanliness here will make you think, 'Wow, this money was well spent.' 💬Service The front desk staff, both guys and girls, are efficient and don't waste time. They answer all your questions and check you in quickly. Sometimes in the evenings, they organize communal dinners or casual drinks and chats. If you feel like joining in, you can; if not, no one forces you. This kind of service, without awkwardness or annoyance, is truly comfortable. 🔥Overall Impression Coming here alone, it doesn't feel awkward; coming with friends, you can still have a good time. They don't go for those trendy, 'influencer' gimmicks; it's simply a hostel that understands what 'staying' truly means. Next time I'm in Yining, I'll definitely stay here again. This hostel has a strict no-smoking policy throughout, so the indoor air is fresh and the environment is clean and comfortable, completely free from any smoke smell. The rooms and common areas are cleaned daily by the staff. The owner and guests are incredibly friendly, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where everyone gets along well. There are daily activities like learning Uyghur and dancing, and the everyday interactions are heartwarming. The common areas are neat and cozy, and the facilities are comprehensive. It offers excellent value for money, provides a great sense of security, and is suitable for both solo travelers and groups. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

It's great for a hostel, good design, seem like Japanese style, clean and tidy. I can't expect more about amenity for a hostel. It's also decorated for trekking guy and the host really good at this point. He spent 1 hour to help me make a plan for my coming trip.

Environment: Nice environment and atmosphere. I met some new friends here. The owner is also very friendly and enthusiastic. He introduced the surrounding environment. Facilities: Washing machine and kitchen are available, which is convenient for drying clothes. Service: The service is also good. When it's time for dinner, the owner will prepare the meal and invite us to eat together. I really felt the strong atmosphere of the youth hostel! Super nice hostel in the old city with a peaceful vibe. The rooms are excellent value for money, clean and well equipped. I had the best night's sleep I had in ages. The hostel is built around a courtyard with mature trees in the centre which keeps it cool in the day. There is a well equipped kitchen, free laundry and the atmosphere is friendly. If you are cycling or on a motorbike you can store these safely in the courtyard.

Had a fantastic experience! Being an all-female hostel, it was so much more comfortable and relaxed for us to chat. The owner was also lovely to talk to, and it really felt like a warm and cozy home away from home with a great sense of community. I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in Kashgar. A big plus is that it's an all-female hostel, so no unpleasant cigarette smells!

Nice quiet hostel where it is easy to relax. The bed is comfy, no gas to cook but there is hot water a microwave and a few other appliances you can use. It's a bit away from the ancient city but there are plenty of other shopping streets nearby. I left my bike outside the door because it's a very safe area. There were some very friendly people in the hostel who helped me navigate the Chinese way of doing things. It's really good value staying here, would recommend. Message them if you have difficult finding the place.

This hotel really exceeded expectations and must give a big praise! I felt full of sincerity from the beginning of the door. The front desk lady smiled very kindly. The check-in speed was super fast. She also took the initiative to introduce the hotel's facilities and the surrounding convenient information, which made people feel very warm at once. The room was even more pleasant. As soon as I opened the door, I smelled a faint fragrance and there was no smell at all. The sheets and quilts were clean as new, and they felt very comfortable. The pillows were moderately soft and hard. I didn't want to get up after sleeping for one night. The bathroom was spotless, the hot water was out in seconds, the water pressure was just right, and the toiletries were all brand goods, so you can rest assured. There is no need to pick the facilities, air conditioning, cooling and heating

The location is great. The shower and toilet at 2nd floor need to be clean regularly. Also it helps to put curtains at both the entrance/exit because when you take shower, the wind/ cold air really send shivers down your spine. Please please fix the door at 209, 211. When you want to close the door from the outside, you have to pull to shut it and the bang can wake up the whole neighborhood.
