Check-in and Service: The check-in process was optimized and bug-free. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, processing my reservation with impressive speed. I was particularly impressed by the concierge team; their local knowledge was like a well-curated API for the city—whenever I had a query about hidden gems or logistical routes, they provided precise and helpful ”outputs.” 3. Room Quality and Comfort: The room was a sanctuary of modern design. The interface—meaning the room layout—was intuitive and spacious. I was assigned a suite on the 14th floor, offering a panoramic view of the skyline. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing excellent ”uptime” for my sleep quality. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The property is well-organized for young people, families, and groups, and it's well-connected to the city center (30 minutes on foot, 20 minutes by tram or bike). There's a supermarket nearby. The breakfast was excellent. Free parking is available in the immediate vicinity. Alternatively, the hotel's own parking only costs €6 per day. Areas for improvement: the cleanliness of the rooms and en-suite bathrooms.

First and foremost this hostel is clean and comfortable enough, although the sturdy wooden bunks have slightly awkward stairs and are not the easiest to navigate while putting on bedsheets etc. Service was efficient and kind but is otherwise also quite absent, you check in and that's it. The kitchen is good, a little small but it's all that it needs to be. I think there is a restaurant in the garden which gets a little noisy, like the street. It's hard to describe the location because Leipzig doesn't really have an identifiable center, aside from a small shopping area in another part of the city. It's a bit between old fashioned decent and almost ghetto. There are nearby supermarkets and fast food outlets and event some pubs; one corner of a street on the way to Kaufland was almost lively. Recommended for a likely short stay of 1 or 2 nights in Leipzig. Similar to other options in the city.

The staff were again the absolute best I've encountered in a long time. Top notch friendliness, and attentive. Always ready to assist in a human way, rather than throwing the rule book at you. Comfortable bed and spotless bathroom as always.

During my stay, I had an unpleasant encounter at the front desk. When I asked for towels, which I believed I had paid €4 for upon arrival, the receptionist (Felix) stated that I hadn't paid and that no one else was available to help me at that moment. The payment wasn't initially checked, and I was told that no towels would be provided without payment. After I returned with my receipt, the payment was still questioned, and it was suggested that the €4 might have been for something else, like another purchase. Before contacting a colleague, he made the remark, ”You're not showering tonight anyway,” even though I hadn't mentioned showering. I found this unnecessary and uncomfortable. Only after my insistence did he contact a colleague, who explained that the €4 was for the city tax and bed linen. Once this was clarified, the issue was immediately resolved. This situation could have been cleared up from the beginning if a colleague had been contacted right away. I also observed guests being loudly addressed in common areas when house rules were enforced, and activities were stopped without explanation. While the hostel itself was nice, the style of communication made my stay unpleasant. I would not stay here again and believe that clearer and more considerate communication from the staff would significantly improve the experience.

Although the location isn't near the train station, the city isn't large. It's just three stops on tram number 11 from the new city train station, then a five or six-minute walk. While the bathrooms are shared, they are clean and well-designed, making them easy to use. There's free coffee at the reception on the first floor, and free tea bags in the kitchen. The kitchen isn't large, but it's very clean, and there are free sections in the refrigerator and showers, which I found particularly convenient, preventing people from wasting things they don't need. The front desk staff were very helpful in activating my SIM card; their attitude was quite good. My only complaint is that my phone often connected to the Wi-Fi but couldn't access the internet. This happened with both of my phones; I haven't encountered this in other hostels. I don't know if it's a problem with my phone or the Wi-Fi.

I stayed before at the recommendation of a local friend and was quite satisfied and booked again six months later. The size of the room, ease of use, cleanliness, etc. are perfect. The staff are also very friendly and the breakfast is substantial. The location is also central, but it is quiet at night. I want to come back to Leipzig for this inn.

The room was very simple, because the reservation was late, more than 500 nights were still public toilets and bathrooms. I don't know much about the consumption level in Dresden and I don't know how other hotels are.

Not bed

The room is nice and tidy, but when I stayed for 2 nights, I can't clean the room and refill the towel. If you want, you have to pay 10 euros towels and 1 euros to clean.
