A Perfect Day at The Bedingfeld Arms! What a truly wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, The Bedingfeld Arms delivered exactly what we were hoping for—and more. Nestled in a charming location, it felt like a gentle escape into the countryside, with just the right mix of warmth and ease. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. We lingered over our meal, not wanting it to end! The rooms were just what we needed: cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. It was so lovely to wake up refreshed and step out into such a peaceful setting. While some might wish for a slightly more “posh” or traditional pub feel—Tom did miss the classic old-world touches like dark walnut floors and the scent of oak smoke in the air—we both appreciated the light, airy ambiance and modern comfort. It’s clear The Bedingfeld Arms has found its own style, and it’s working beautifully. Altogether, it was a delightful, cheerful, and refreshing day, and we’re so glad we chose to spend it here. Thank you to everyone at The Bedingfeld Arms for making it so special—we can’t wait to return!

The annex building is a newer accommodation building, a bit like a homestay in China, very cozy. The rooms are relatively small, but that does not affect stay. There is a restaurant in the old reception area, which does great business. The dinner and breakfast areas are very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is also good, with everything you need. This is a relatively niche town, and this accommodation is a good choice for dining!
