Onsenyado Hamayu Nagi

Stayed for a night not at the dormitory but a private Japanese style room. Room was very spacious and the only down point was that it was mid winter in January but the room was still rather cold even with the heater. The heater was only in the main room and the toilet/shower area was freaking cold. They do not have a bath tub, but a shower and toilet in the same space with only a shower curtain separating the shower stand and the other part of the toilet. Whole area can get very wet after a shower.. Parking isnt free, and you have to book in advance. There is a living room and onsen on the first floor but it was too cold and i was too lazy as our room was on the 3rd floor. Guy at reception was very friendly and helpful. Location is a plus, just a few minutes walk from the station and if you need food, there are a few eateries around that open late. They also have rental bicycles.

Yufuin Onsen
We really enjoyed our stay here no doubt about it. The hostel was very clean and the onsen was just lovely. Private room was also nice and inexpensive. However if you have difficulty sleeping like I do please be advised that the walls are very thin! There are earplugs on sale at the hostel please bring eyemask! Also be prepared for lots of loud noises from 8am! Staff literally shouting and using the vacuum cleaner. So if you want to relax until check out I don't think this is the place. We enjoyed the owner singing to us as we left very nice touch

Tabist Hotel Smart Sleeps Oita Station

It is evaluated with its own eyesight (5 points full). Business hotels are the center. [Location] It is very convenient because it is located in front of the station. It walks a little from the drinking street. [Room] 2 This type still feels good or bad depending on luck. I didn't sleep easily because the next snoring was a direct hit on this day. [Outlet LAN] 2 Like only two outlet desks [No air conditioning] The temperature can't be adjusted in the room. There is no fan. It was hot and hot and almost dead. I would like to know in advance at least. [Shower] I use it in the shower booth instead of 3 rooms. There is no problem with the momentum, but I don't know where to put clothes and so on. [Staff] 2 Is there basically no staff? No one in the morning or night. It is normal when you can respond. [Overall] 2 It is quite painful that there is no air conditioner. I think it is hell hot if it becomes hot from now on. However, the facility itself is generally clean and there are many manga with free drinks, so I think it is convenient near the station if I can endure it. I don't think I will use it next time because I am not good at hot.

Beppu Hostel&Cafe Ourschestra

The hotel is nice, clean and hygienic, suitable for young people. The price is affordable. There are free hot springs nearby for the three days of New Year. It is only a seven- to eight-minute walk from Beppu Station. There is something to find on Baidu Maps. The owner is Chinese and very enthusiastic. Easy to find with Google Maps

The boss is not bad. He will go out at 7:30 in the evening to tell some more authentic information and help map the map. It is not convenient for the bed on the second floor toilet on the first floor.
