"It's a given that hostels lack privacy, so whether you're male or female, please protect yourselves.
My friends and I stayed at this hostel, and we were subjected to continuous and inappropriate staring from two other male guests. It was genuinely very uncomfortable and scary, especially since one of them, who kept peering over, was sleeping in the bunk right next to mine.
I also want to let future guests know that while the facilities here are great, please be aware of the potential for discomfort. The hostel bed curtains cannot be locked and are somewhat see-through. If a guest turns on their light in their bunk, others can easily see what you're doing, clear as day. And because they can't be locked, it's easy for someone to intrude into your private space.
Lastly, I've included a photo of the 'Places to Eat' guide thoughtfully provided by the hostel. Although we didn't get to use it on this trip, it was a nice touch."

Guest UserThe hotel is small. We stayed on the second floor in the building by the pool. This building has 6 rooms. The room had a small kitchen nook with a sink, microwave, and refrigerator. Housekeeping was available upon request. The only minor drawback was that we wished the towels were changed daily. There's a shared kitchen with dishes near the reception. Barbecue facilities are also available. The staff was very friendly. The location was convenient for us. We rented a car for the first week and explored the entire island. For the remaining days, we mostly walked to Cenang Beach. It's a nice 20-minute walk in the morning. We swam and sunbathed at the Malibest Hotel, where we rented sunbeds for 50 ringgit (2 sunbeds + umbrella). We'd either walk back or take a taxi for 6-10 ringgit.

This is a normal, simple motel. There's always hot water, shower gel, and soap available. The air conditioning works well. No strange smells or insects, and the bedding and towels are decent. The staff are friendly, and check-in/check-out is easy. There were no noisy neighbors or other sources of noise.
Cenang Beach is only about a three-minute walk away, and there are plenty of food stalls nearby. Cenang Mall is about a 5-7 minute walk. This is my second time staying here. It's a great place for travelers who don't plan on spending much time in their room, and just need a comfortable place to wash up and sleep. The rooms look just like the photos. Outside each door, there's a small table and two chairs.

Sadly, this looks like a place that desperately needs renovation. It looks quite neglected, from walls screaming for new paint, to torn bedsheets, to broken pipes in the bathroom leaking water.
Also, some things are not as advertised in their profile. There is no 24 hour front desk - in fact, check in is very simple, you come to a desk, and find the key with the sticker with your name on it (it would be nice if they informed guests about this).
Also, there is no hot water in the bathroom (even if room description claims otherwise), nor electric kettle in the room.
There was also no toilet paper, but after i sent them an email about it (remember, no 24 hour front desk), they brought a roll with an apology.
They were nice enough to extend my check out for an hour. But more than just being flexible, i think their business would improve if they invested more into maintenance of the place.

The rooms are clean and affordably priced. It's right by the beach, just a short walk away. Shops and restaurants are very easy to find, and it's close to department stores, duty-free shops, massage parlors, and various eateries. For this price, it's definitely great value for money. The room is spacious and comes with a hairdryer, soap, towels, and even a dining table. Excellent!

Azati SyamimiI went to LGK to attend my friend's wedding and chill. I thought the place a bit far from Kuah but it's not! Easy to get there and it's self check in! Spacious room for me, good facilities with fridge, tv, water dispenser etc.

YAP MIN YEEI came Langkawi for business trip purposes.
Coincidence found this new open motel just rightfully near to Pantai Cenang about 8 mins for my work trip.
And I really like the room design is very cozy and comfortable. The wardrobe design is very convenient for me to storage my luggage and the wardrobe also is just nice 😊
Beside Fat Mom actually is just beside the Billion,most importantly I can buy some light food to cook in their shared kitchen.
Will come back to book here for my trip again ❤️

Guest UserI have pleasent experience here. The price also reasonable because I have my own private pool. The owner also polite and friendly. The place are not lively like chenang and I like it! Peace and quite village but near to Chenang so it's recommended places to choose. I have good experience here. Really like it!

SharmienI will definitely come here again. It was the best decision ever to stay here because the room complete with 4 pillows, superb king bed, smart TV and Young Living aroma. My room does have the balcony and enjoy watching the road scene.

The hotel is on the beach, a very beautiful location, tables overlooking the sea and a gorgeous sunset. This alone is worth a visit for at least a couple of days. There's a children's pool with a sea view. The WiFi worked.
There's a local cafe serving dinner.
The only refrigerator is in the shared kitchen, and that's a plus.
The bed linen was stained. The mugs were smelly and unwashable. It was a family room, and the second bed left only a narrow passage to the bathroom, which was a bit cramped. The toilet leaked.
Overall, for this price, it's fine for a couple of nights.

The rooms are dated, the furniture looks like it's from the colonial era, and the bed linens are washed-out and no longer have the color white. The room is small, but comfortable with two beds: one king-size bed and one single bed. There's no closet at all. The bathroom and toilet are all in one, so you wash right at the sink. There was no hot water, so we washed with cold water. But it's really cool that the single-story houses have a mini-terrace. In the evening, you can sit at a table, where there's also a clothes dryer. The pool is warm! The location is great! It's not noisy and not far from all the action. Across the street, a night food court opens in the evening, where you can have a delicious and affordable dinner.
