A decent option for an overnight stay near the airport. It has good air conditioning, two ceiling fans, a shower with hot water, nice bedding and towels. There's a water cooler with hot and cold water (located in the smoking area), and an iron available at the front desk. They immediately provided a plug adapter at reception upon request. The staff are friendly. A taxi from the hotel to the airport costs 10-15 ringgit. Regarding the downsides: you have to take off your shoes at the hotel entrance, but they provide a shoe locker with a key to keep them secure. I was also given a room whose window faced the reception, specifically it was right behind the receptionist's back, but it was quiet at night and I managed to get a good night's sleep, so that didn't bother me.

Actually, the hotel is very good, clean and the location is easy to find. But most of the customers are Chinese. After 5 p.m., they still talk loudly, not considerate, and do not keep the shared bathroom clean. But overall, the receptionist is good.

I was very satisfied with my overall experience at this hotel! First and foremost, the most convenient aspect was the airport transfer service. The driver was punctual and friendly, making the journey from the airport to the hotel very smooth. I didn't have to worry about transportation or getting lost at all. This service is truly thoughtful, especially for first-time visitors to the city. The hotel's hygiene was also quite impressive. Whether it was the lobby, elevators, or inside the rooms, everything was meticulously cleaned, and the air was fresh with no unpleasant odors. The bed in the room was soft and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and tidy, and all the towels and amenities were well-stocked, making for a very reassuring stay. The daily cleaning service was also excellent; the staff would proactively clean and replenish daily necessities. The location was also fantastic. The hotel is situated in a very convenient area with many restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. You can easily find food or daily essentials within a short walk. Whether you want to try local specialties or just grab a quick meal, it's incredibly easy. Moreover, the hotel is not far from shopping malls and public transportation, making it convenient for taking a taxi or public bus.

I booked the 4-bed dorm thinking that only 4 guests would use the shower & toilet. But apparently, the 2 shower-toilet combined were used by all the other rooms & dorms. It was getting awkward with many females frequently entering the washroom area. A room no.205 has access directly through the washroom.. Weird! (picture attached). I could hear some odd conversations between 2 boys & a girl from that room while brushing teeth in the morning. The dorm which was sufficient only for one single bed is filled with 2 bunk beds, so there is no space at all in the dorm room. You have to directly jump onto the bed. My dorm room was on second floor with no elevator. The only 3 good points about this hostel are that they provide a towel for hostel beds, is located on a main street in Georgetown, and has complementary breakfast for everyone (bread-butter-jam, tea-coffee, and watermelon). Wifi & AC were good.

I've stayed at many hostels, and someplaceelse definitely ranks in my top 3. Location 📍: Super easy to find, right next to Love Lane. There's a Family Mart and 7-Eleven just down the alley, which is really convenient for grabbing snacks. At night, you can walk right out to the night market – couldn't be handier. Cleanliness: Incredibly, impeccably clean! You have to take your shoes off from the second floor up. Staff clean daily, and even though the restrooms are shared by men and women, they are absolutely spotless. No exaggeration, it's genuinely fantastic. Atmosphere: There are activities every evening on the first floor, like singing, movie nights, and interactive quizzes. So, even if you don't go out, you won't be bored. Staff: Everyone is super nice and always happy to help with any questions. All in all, if I come back to Penang, I'm definitely staying here again!!!

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel 22! The location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, food, and public transport. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The self check-in and check-out machine was also very convenient and made the process fast and hassle-free. Overall, a good experience and great value for money. Would definitely consider staying again in the future!

The hotel management is good they do the room cleaning service on time and overall the room are spacious and air condition with free wifi and hot and cold water is also there

I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied. The location is excellent, with three night markets nearby. There's also a scooter rental shop right outside, making it super convenient to get around. The durian shop nearby is much cheaper than the ones in the art district. Plus, there's parking available on the ground floor. The service was great and very attentive. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Penang.

The location was convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions and find good local food. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend Ardour Lodge Penang to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay. I would be happy to stay here again on my next visit to Penang.
