Tucked away in a quiet alley in the bustling Thamel area, this hotel is the perfect balance between peace and convenience. Rooms: The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Mine had a great view of the inner courtyard, and the bed was surprisingly soft. Hot water and good Wi-Fi were consistently available, which is a big plus! Service: The staff here are truly outstanding. Friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging airport pickups, tours, or just recommending places to eat, they went above and beyond. Location: Ideal for tourists. You're minutes away from shops, restaurants, and trekking gear stores, but the hotel is just far enough from the main street to feel calm and relaxed. Price: Great value for money. The rates are budget-friendly without compromising on comfort or cleanliness. Extras: They also offer luggage storage for trekkers, which is super convenient, and the rooftop is a nice place to unwind. Overall: Highly recommended for solo travelers, couples, and trekkers. If you're looking for a safe, clean, and affordable place in Kathmandu with genuine hospitality, Hotel Yala Peak is a fantastic choice.

I went there for 1 night just to have a peaceful sleep. I have long way to travel so to catch up my sleep, I was there. It is like a party house at night extremely playing noisy songs. Instead of opening hotel, they should have opened night club. Yes, the environment is club environment. The staffs are nice . I complain by shouting out loud back to them. It is effective, they immediately lower their song. The entrance to the hotel is narrow,no car can enter. Moreover, super loud environment to have a good night sleep. So, not recommend.

super convenient location in thamel district, kathmandu. v close to the garden of dreams and the main streets of the area, where there was a lot of buzz day and night. the hotel is far back enough from these streets that the noise doesn't affect sleep in any way. rooftop terrace was a nice touch

It is a new hotel. The room service is super good which the air con have warm air and the bathroom have hot water. The staffs are friendly and kind. They are willing to provide all the help that I need. Also, the location is very convenient since it is in the Thamel market.

Very chill and nice ambiance, staff are friendly and helpful, allowed me to take shower before the check in. The food is there good too, so do not miss it. I stayed in 16 beds dorm, and it was good experience, as dorm was spacious, modern and well equipped. I recommend.

Sara's Backpackers Hotel is really OK. The location is practical, you can get to important places QUICKLY like the Pashupatinath Temple or the Garden of Dreams. The rooms are clean, but a bit simply furnished. WIFI IS free, but sometimes a bit slow. THE staff is super friendly and helps with everything, whether it's excursions or questions about the area. Breakfast is OK too, but not super special - just typical of the country. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, a nice view to relax. There are also bikes to rent, which is cool. A few things could be better, e.g. the beds are a bit hard and the showers could be more modern. Overall, though, it's good value for money. Would come back if I'm in the area! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clean rooms with clean bathrooms. Great location. Very simple but just what you need in this vibrant city where you are out all day. Would come back to stay

It's a little bit of a walk from the Thamel area and in a secluded location, but it wasn't inconvenient for sightseeing. I stayed in a 6-person dormitory on the top floor, and the shower toilet was clean and acceptable. There was also toilet paper provided, so I think this hostel is within the acceptable range for Japanese people. There is no elevator, so it is a bit difficult to go up and down, but other than that it was a comfortable hostel. The owner was able to communicate in English via Whatsapp and was quick to respond to various questions and tour requests. I organized a half-day hiking tour of Nagarkot, which included a guide and car for about 17,000 Nepalese rupees.
