The cheapest hotel I could find. Stayed for 15 days. The rooms was on 4th floor nice and clean. I say rooms because halfway through our stay our air conditioning unit gave out so we were relocated(for free) to another room. The employees were all kind and willing to help with everything we needed. Location is nice. Almost next to Ayala mall and the general area is safe and easy to navigate/find transport in the form of either jeepney or bus. Decor is a bit gloomy and outdated. That beige on the walls is the only thing I disliked. It is by no means a 5 star hotel but it's a bargain for its price(15 euros a night) anyone would be stupid to pass. I recommend it to everyone who want to visit Cebu on a budget. We didn't taste their kitchen or visit the gym they have.

All other hotels were 2 to 3 times the price of AOSMEC. The simple truth is that my one week stay at the AOSMEC was the best!!!. Yes it is a basic Hotel with no frills or a pool. But if that's what you are looking for? This hotel is simply perfect. PROS: WIFI speed is extremely good since every floor as it's own router. The hotel is extremely clean. It simply is irreproachable. You always see someone cleaning morning to night. Cable TV is very good with brand new TV'S This hotel is Familly owned by phillipino's and they make sure clients are happy. So any issue that might come up. Is dealt with very quickly and correctly. The room cleaning is upon request but just ask and it's done quickly and perfectly! The owners completely understand what a budget traveller needs and they don't overcharge. You can get anything you need on a ”a la carte” basis. Example: we got some laundry done. The price was about 15% higher then doing it ourselves at a laundramat self serve service. If you factor in tranportion cost to get to and from the laundromat. It's less expensive through the hotel. WOW! The clientele is a mix of locals and foreigners. And all are happy with the rooms and services received. The hotel is soo well managed that it is expanding. About 20 rooms are being added. AND THESE ROOMS ARE NICER! 5 Rooms are 95% completed. I visited one. Cons: the restaurant is basic. It's geared more torwards the local clientele. But there are many good restaurants within walking distance and this should not be a concern. There is also a convenience store right next to the hotel. Not even 30 seconds away. It is about 30 minutes away from the airport. Taxis are a bit more scarce but with the Grab app.(like Huber) that issue goes away. This place is the perfect budget hotel that actually beats out most mid range hotels at 3x the price. Dont hesitate and book. No worries here. Do not hesitate in.booking here. You won't regret

my friends and i had errands in cebu city and we needed to stay overnigt. i already had email interaction with the admin saying that there are 3 of us and we want win beds and an extra bed. When we checked in, they strongly suggested 2 bunk beds and i said NO to that. when i said NO, the receptionist looked irritated. She was impolite in conversation and i had to say ”good afternoon” first. She does not smile and rolls her eyes which i do not really like. anyway, the rest of the staff were really nice and accommodating. The housekeeping guys were kind and quick to help us with what we need and the lady in the kitchen wad nice. it still was a good experience. i just wish that receptionist will find ways to look at life a positive way and find joy so she can spread joy as well.

Everything is okay if you are looking for something that you can comfortably sleep esp if youbare just here for work. There’s an available canteen ang convenient store within the building. Only 1 thing that’s important for me that is not available, the water heater is not working.

The location is great, a few minutes away from North Bus Terminal and SM City Cebu. There's a 711, and snack stalls nearby, and a few blocks are some fast foods and commercial areas. I just hope they update the facade, cos its kinda mess and hard to look for. The capsules are okay, just enough to cater your tired body after each day tours. There is a common area, and kitchen utensils are available if you wish to use one. There are a total of 4 bathrooms available, you can choose which one fits you, there are some that are tiny for me, Im 5'8 ”tall. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Wifi connection is great!

I love this place. The rooms are very clean and cozy. We were very comfortable here during our stay because the atmosphere here is so relaxing. The color combinations of the rooms are just adorable. And the price is just right. The hand-painted murals are simply beautiful. It gives an ambiance of blissful serenity to the place. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Try their Chinese dimsum. You will definitely love it. I’m coming back here for sure.

The cost is 115p, because the plane was 4:40 in the morning, I chose this The overnight stay at the hostel was RMB 103 per night, which was booked by Ctrip.com. The hotel is clean and clean, the equipment is simple, there is no breakfast, there is a 7-11 when you turn left, and you have a shopping mall. The room is a place to stay, no separate toilet, no hot water. Toilet and bath room are shared. The staff help with providing information and options about different tours and activities to do in OSLOB or around. They arranged the motorcycle rental for us and we were brought the motorbikes at the hotel. As it was a rainy season, they also called the trycicle to pick us up. The hotel is just located by the sea so you can get in any time and enjoy the view of the sea while eating at the restaurant or just having a cup of coffee. The room was equipped with a fan and an AC and TV. But isn't sound proof.. We came for one night and ended up staying 3 nights as we found out that whale shark watching was NOT the only thing to do in OSLOB. We rode the rented bikes to Tumalog waterfalls which was the most magic place I've ever seen and went to Inambakan falls on the next day which is an amazing place to see too but farther, the roads to both places are newly paved (which isn't the case of the national ”highway”). The staff at the hotel also helped to take our laundry to the laundry mat in another location and collected it as well. Breakfast was really nice. The only cons are being unable to sleep the whole night due to a dog barking and crying behind our room (and others on the street) and not having cleaned towels even after requesting to clean the room on the third day.. Thus the room was cleaned but they just put the same towels in hangers. Other than that, we are very thankful and will definitely come back and recommend it.

During the times we were out for multiple days, we paid for storage instead of paying for the whole room. The owners were incredibly nice and super helpful. After explaining our plans to them, they recommended transport options and locations. Only downside for most people, is that there is a 10 pm curfew. If you’re looking for more of a nightlife, this one might not be the one for you.

This is actually the best accommodation we ever seen in moalboal . My fiance and I stay there for 3weeks and we actually loved it. They have beautiful ,clean and comfy bed . With a kitchen which my fiance loved it . With beautiful beach view in the tower which alex love it so much. Iloved the staff how they taking care of the guest . Ate vilma and kuya there is very helpful if you need help . hope to comeback soon again. Thankyou for the great service . It’s worth the price ❤️

No early, health is OK, air conditioning is enough, service is good. It is the first floor that there is no separate bathroom. It takes a few hours to catch a plane to catch a plane. It is also convenient to take a taxi on the roadside. At the airport 160, I gave the driver 20 tips, a total of 180.

The entire staff was very nice and accommodating. They tended to my needs as soon as I arrived at the Hostel. The place was very very clean and neat. Aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The shower and bath was exquisite. Hot shower was very much needed after a long flight and they have it there. The place is very accessible and it’s just a 5-minute drive from Mactan airport and no traffic in the area.

This is a lot like a dorm. Basic rooms with bed, desk and tv. The phone didn't work. Ian said that a wire got cut accidentally and none of the rooms can use the phone. I couldn't get the TV to work. I couldn't get the shower to work. Took a cold standing bath the first night, splashing myself from the water spout in the tub. I did manage to get warm water the second night, and used one of the water glasses to pour water on my head. The bed was very comfortable, but the walls are thin so I could hear people talking, especially late at night. The breakfast was good, but cold. All the staff were nice, except the woman my first night. I had requested the airport shuttle (which was why I chose the hotel) for 11:30 pm when my flight arrived. I waited and waited. When I called the hotel, the woman said that the shuttle was broken. Ok, but I didn't get a message (and shouldn't there be a contingency plan?). She said to get a cab. I went to the queue and got one, almost half an hour after I arrived. Then when we got to the hotel, the driver said to 'just pay him what I want'. ***!? A man came out and took my bag up the stairs. I followed and entered the tiny lobby. The woman behind the desk immediately started making excuses about the shuttle, saying that I hadn't called, and that I had used the Booking.com website and I had actually reserved the room through Agoda. 1. I NEVER use Agoda. 2. Why would it matter which website I used? I told her that I had the emails confirming the shuttle. She said that she had sent the emails, but since she couldn't find my reservation, she didn't send the shuttle. (I had included my Booking.com reservation number in the email). Wow, 12:30 am and no 'Welcome', just an argumentative worker. The guy took me up to my room. I was getting ready to take a shower when I realized there were no towels, and I had no dial tone on the phone. I was getting dressed when the guy came back and gave me one towel. In the morning I went down to the front desk to ask about sightseeing. The woman was there and didn't say anything when I sat down in front of the desk. Another guest came and handed her their key. She spoke to them. She glanced at me briefly as she went back to doing something on the computer. I said Good morning. She replied and turned right back to the computer. I looked over to the guy who was standing nearby, with an incredulous look on my face. He said something to her and she finally seemed to realize that she had a customer. I told her that I wanted to sightsee. She asked what I wanted to do, I told her I didn't know what the choices were (this was a last minute trip). I asked if there was a place to to parasailing, since we were near the water. She Googled it and showed me the screen, asking which one I wanted. Well heck, I could Google and randomly pick a company! Another man had just come in and saw what was going on. He took over and asked me questions and made suggestions. He said he knew someone and

We stayed for one night after a late flight into Cebu airport. The reception is actually for another accommodation provider called Clockwork Orange. The Spacepods are housed in a seperate building which appears to be largely unoccupied, but once you're in the room it's okay. The pods themselves are modern and there are singles and doubles unlike previous capsule hotels we've stayed in. While we were there, there was a power outage and we took a little while to find the manual door opener, so we were locked in the pods for a short time which was a bit claustrophobic. We were the only guests for the whole pod area which was a good thing as I can't imagine how cramped the common areas would be if it was busy. There's a small locker room to put your stuff but the lockers were too small for our suitcases. The shower area is small, with two toilets, two showers and four sinks. One of the showers blocked. Overall, a cheap place to stay for one night and I would stay again.

The facilities are good , we sleep well in a room 😊 The kuya in a hotel is very good communications , i will recommend this on our friends.. And our is located at rooftop so we see a lot of city lights and bridge .

Comfy bed. wide room. hospitable staff especially Charmaine. I recommend this hotel it's very affordable and has a nice perfect room to stay. The Glebe Coffee downstairs and near to McDonald's and Jollibee. This hotel is a perfect place to stay in Panglao because of its accessibility.

Just checked out 2 days ago! Very relaxing stay. Very quiet area with no noise. The staff is also very kind and helpful! The rooms are very basic style but the area is quiet and you can get very good sleep.

My partner and I didn't actually stay at MadMonkey as there were no private rooms available but we did stumble across the hostel when looking for somewhere to eat and ended up spending a fair amount of time here. The food had a great variety and was very fairly priced and it was the only place I managed to get a G&T for less than 200 pesos. We also used the hostel to book some day trips. We did the 4 hour Pangloa Tour which was a great day out and did the countryside tour. Marycris helped us organise the tours and she was an absolute dream! We'd planned to do the tour on the Monday but there was a Typhoon so the trip got cancelled. Marycris messaged me to keep me updated and arranged a tour for us for the Tuesday. She put so much effort in when we weren't even staying there and we ended up having a van to ourselves and we'd fit in everything we wanted to. I can't get over how helpful and accommodating Marycris was, we were only staying in Bohol for a few days and due to Marycris' communitcation, we managed to get in everything we wanted for our holiday.

As someone who is conscious of his travel spending, it has dawned in me that we really do not need much money for us to become a more eco-friendly traveler. And one action I frequently do is by staying at a hostel. I’ll save for another post the reasons why I love staying at hostels. Moon Fools Hostel caught my attention when I was looking for a place to stay at prior to my Bohol trip. It wasn’t there yet when I last visited Panglao in 2015. Without much information about this hostel, I relied on my instinct that it’s probably one of those few accommodations I’d love. And boy I was right… The moment I entered the hostel, I already knew that it was my kind of hostel – an eco-friendly one. I was happy to have had a great conversation with one of the owners, Mari. That is when I have learned that she and her husband are very passionate about the environment. So it isn’t surprising that the materials used in the construction of their hostel are mostly recycled. It is very admirable as to how they have made use of recycled materials from their curtains (coffee sack) to pillowcases, bedsheet, plastic cups turned into plant pots, lamps from old jars, and even recycled wood materials turned into chairs and tables. Moon Fools Hostel shows that the very essence of recycling is re-using. My stay at Moon Fools also comes with a simple breakfast that you get to prepare on your own. It usually consists of oats, raisins, mallows, some spices like cinnamon and nutmeg plus your choice of drinks (coffee, tea, or chocolate). Plus bananas too! I also like the fact that they have these little ecotourist reminders all over their place – from the bathroom to the dining area. The local staff of Moon Fools is the usual endearing and respectful Boholano people. During my 2-night stay, I have noticed that I was the only Filipino. What else to expect with Moon Fools Hostel: All rooms have air conditioning. Free WiFi is available from the lounge area to the rooms. The hostel offers airport shuttle services at an extra charge. The hostel has a shared communal bathroom. A 24-hour convenience store, a cafe and a restaurant are found on the 1st floor of the hostel. There are motorcycles and bicycles for rent. Water sports facilities are also available.

This was our first stop in our trip to the Philippines. They were very friendly, polite and extremely helpful with us. We arrived with only one piece of luggage as the other one got stuck in Barcelona. They helped us trying to get in touch with the airline company. We stayed with them for 5 days and the rooms were very clean. The place is well located only a short walk to Alona Beach. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Great apartments - spacious, clean, some moments need to be refreshed, but in general everything is good! It is worth noting that these are apartments without a familiar hotel service. The owner of the apartments lives directly in the neighborhood and has assistants. Any questions are resolved quickly. You can order breakfast for just 200 peso per person and it really is worth it. A careful area, a large pool. True, we never understood how the cleaning issue is solved, in 6 days we only cleaned up once, whether it does not include, whether it is necessary to ask specifically. Also the owner can rent a bike. Each apartment has its own isolated terrace. In general there are all necessary (towels, dishes, tiles, teapot, refrigerator, safe). But there were not enough elementary trimmings (the bathroom had no soap and hand towels, there was no towels and garments in the kitchen, and even sponge with washing machine was not - therefore washing dishes was difficult), But I think if you ask - then without problems will provide missing things! To the beach (Alona Beach) 7 minutes on a bike, there are no shops in the foot accessibility, but there are a couple of cafes. In general these little things have not overshadowed our stay! Recommend! They will be suitable for both short-term and long-term stays.

This is definitely a secure hostel with keycard access to its entrance and to your room. Inside the room, there are lockers too but not all of them are usable. The hostel appears to be a conversion of someone's home, so there is a lounge and dining area for meeting other travellers and a really good kitchen. The 8 bed dorms must have been bedrooms with ensuite. However, that's the problem - if the room is fully occupied, then one ensuite (combined shower and toilet) means waiting. I don't mind waiting for s shower (and it has hot water no less), but waiting for the toilet is not fun. The other disadvantage of this hostel is its location - you must walk down to the main road to pick up any tricycle, habal-habal, taxi or jeepney to go to the city or port. There aren't any dining options near the hostel either but they do have groceries you can purchase if you want to do that. The free breakfast is coffee with toast & jam, bananas, nuts, oats and sultanas - you can have as much as you like, then wash up your dishes. The beds are comfy zones with privacy curtain, light, power outlet and 3 hooks for hanging you clothes. The room is of course air conditioned. The staff are lovely and organised a great day tour for me at an excellent price. If it wasn't for the location and shortage of toilets, I'd give this hostel 10/10.

This is a new hotel with only 10 rooms, in a nice quiet back road location. It's about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the local Momo beach and again about a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride or scooter ride to the vibrant and busy tourist area of Alona beach. The whole hotel including the pool and garden area, bar and breakfast area are all spotless. All the staff are very helpful and will do everything they can to ensure your stay is as perfect as it can be. Bar prices by the pool and the minibar in your room are very competitive prices (although NOT all the items in the minibar are priced up) which needs to be sorted. The food menu for lunch and evening meals are restricted but just ask the chef and they will cook exactly what you want if they have it. Lots of items are not listed on the menu so you have to guess at the prices (portion of french fries = 250 PP). The hotel offer free airport pickup and drop off which is a massive help especially when you need to be at the airport by 06.15 in the morning. They have a little scooter for hire which is new and runs perfectly at a very good price. My partner and I stayed here for 10 nights. It was almost perfect! I have to be honest, so, the only downfall (which is not the hotels fault) if you are a light sleeper, like I am, is that some nights the locals enjoy very loud karaoke and music from outside their homes which travels to your room and can go on until quite late and the early morning cockerels and the odd dog barking. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 nights.
