Hostels in Vastra Gotaland, Sweden

The room and bed were very nice. It was helpful having a sink in the room (the toilet/shower, however, were down the hall, but still convenient). The staff was very friendly and the location was very convenient to the city.

Good points: (1) We really like its location. It was very easy to reach public transportations. It was also close by lots of local amenities such as Netto, post box, coffee shops, pizza place, and buffet breakfast. (2) Moreover, the hotel has a kitchen where we can warm our own food. Bad points: (1) We didn't like that we had to pay extra for bedsheets and towels. We travel a lot nationwide and to other countries - one of us used to work as a tour guide - and it was our very first time to be in a hotel/hostel/motel that does not include bed sheets with the original price. (2) Our room was located right next to a very noisy playground. From morning until night, it was always extremely noisy. So the only times we enjoyed our time in our room was when it was very late at night or when it was raining heavily, because then no kids were there in the playground. (3) One of the shared-toilets was incredibly stinky.

Really clean. Friendly staff. Just that the main door can only be opened with a code. And it is changed every day, but I wasn't made aware about it. Although they said that you'll receive an email regarding the pin change, I didn't receive one.

This month is also a low-cost youth travel in Gothenburg, so I took this opportunity to evaluate it. It is only a personal idea, so it is only for reference. But there are two points they are the same, that is, no one is really close to the University of Gothenburg, no one has a locker with lock. 1. The most cost-effective is the STF Youth Hostel. (Very important is that they push the door directly during working hours, do not lock the door, go in to the left hand side to manually check in, there is this one, others must get the access code in advance or ask for the intercom at the door. Very troublesome) Although the price is occasionally not the lowest, but the room may be allocated at least four people and up to 8 people, showing that men and women are mixed, but when there are not many people, they are basically separated. This bed sheet is charged, because there are a lot of rooms, the lower bunk provides a curtain, it is still privacy, but there are many people, many eight-person rooms, separate toilets and separate bathrooms. The kitchen is ok, small and mixed. 4. This Linnai hotel is a private owner, between the Youth Hostel and the train station hotel similar feeling, unless its single room is cheap to the price of the Youth Hostel, other times, it is really not recommended. The single room I lived in was cheaper than the price of the berth, so I endured two nights, the kitchen was completely unusable, there was not enough kitchenware, the toilet was poor, and the bathroom was OK. 5. It is fair to say that Spoton is above hostel standard. We had a long scary trip with transit in Frankfurt, room was big enough for the team & everything was available; Location is perfect. reception was extremely helpful. The lounge was cosy

We came here between friends for one night. Access is medium because pedestrian on a7 less 300 metres, to park the car, you will have either the paying street or a parking. The hotel is clean and the pleasant rooms. They are large enough. The shower and toilets are in the corridor but clean. The reception is open for all times. A good plan is not too expensive.

My husband and I spent two nights at Kvibergs Vadrarhem and we were absolutely happy with everything. The staff was very friendly, our room was cosy and clean, the guest kitchen was organised very well, and the breakfast was excellent. We liked the breakfast rooms very much. There were lots of possibilities inside and outside to just sit down, read, watch TV or just relax. Beautiful park and flowers around the building. It was a pleasure to be able to come that quiet place after spending exciting days in the big city of Gothenburg. Thank you very much! We will come back some time in the future.
