This was a very clean place and breakfast was good I would recommend anyone to stay here if your ever in town needing a nice, quite m, peaceful place to stay while you're in town

Close to the airport, there is a free shuttle bus and free parking. There are gas stations and restaurants around. The room is quite big, the sanitation is OK, and the breakfast is quite satisfactory. All in all it is recommended.

We love staying here it's right in the middle of town there's everything around it very busy area.

Two words to sum up: RUN and HORRIBLE! I really don't even know where to start from. We booked this hotel at almost $80 a night but it was not worth even a penny. We pulled in late at night and there was a group of suspicious people right in front of the office. In fact there were a lot of shady people pretty much all around the property. I still held into my nerves and start looking for the office. Office was dark and the door was locked. One suspicious lady even told me to leave and that office is closed at night. I knew her information was not accurate and start looking for any signs for after hours check in. There was a small note on the front door to check in with the side window if the door is locked. I went to the side window and it was shut, locked and dark. There was a ringer outside on a broken dented wall and was not working. Of course by this time I had a lot of attention from unwanted people just hanging and walking within the property. I knocked on the window for sometime before finally somebody turned the lights on from inside and open the window. My room was on the third floor and with small kids and bags it was a huge hassle to take stairs. I was told that elevator was not working and when I looked at the elevator I knew why. It looked like somebody blew it up as it was literally ripped apart. The whole hotel was dirty and filthy as there were trash everywhere and all over. We went to our room and it was barely livable. Walls had dent, hole, and water leak markings. Refrigerator was dirty as hell and the floor was sticky as honey. Stove and its knobs were all broken and I was so afraid to even touch it to avoid any possible gas leak disaster. Restroom was extremely small and literally had a kid size broken sink. Bathroom was small and only had a one small soap. There was no shampoo or conditioner. Only two towels were provided for the entire family size room. Both towels had stains and were dirty. Air condition worked but was loud and noisy. I went downstairs to get more towels and after a lot of question and answer I was given some and even those had holes and stains! Of course they had no return/refund policy regardless of the reason so moving out after paying a hefty price was not an option for me. My entire stay was very uncomfortable and I didn't feel safe at all. Thank god that nothing happened to me or my car and I got out in 1 piece. This hotel needs a complete renovation from bottom up. First and foremost, security needs to be tightened up and they need to get rid of suspicious people. Wish I can give zero star!

The equipment is very new, the sanitation is very good, it is close to the highway, the noise is a bit loud, but the sound insulation of the room is not bad. The sound of the air conditioner is also very small, so I slept well. It is relatively comfortable in a motel hotel. The location is very convenient. Not far from China Town and the city center. No napkins. There is a problem with the design of the bathroom room, with transparent glass and a mirror facing the bed. The quilt was very thin, so I asked the front desk for another bed. Breakfast is not considered breakfast. Ask the front desk, if there is no breakfast, it is just bagged cakes and fruits for customers. This price is relatively high cost performance.

Very rude people at the front desk. Hotel is old and has no maintenance. I spent three nights and they DID NOT CLEAN THE ROOM UP in my whole stay!!! By the way, I have been charged twice in my Credit Card, so I have another issue with them. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!

It was a very spacious room. That's the biggest plus to it. The staff is pretty friendly. The location is right by quick trip so it is pretty convient. Only negative thing was there needed to be new light bulbs in the closet because you can't see anything if u put stuff in there.

I stayed at the Best Western Rose Garden for a weekend and it was a very pleaseant experience. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance for shopping centers and restaurants. I didn't have to worry about finding a parking space, we left the car at the hotel and enjoy walking and shopping... They offer a tasty tex-mex breakfast buffet which is a very good one. I guess this hotel is a best value since many people was hosted there, we had to follow a line to get into the lounge and the pool was very busy, but anyway, I would stay there again for sure.

The room is relatively new, very good

First off, I felt unsafe and that my car might be vandalized. With the exception of checking out, I find the staff to be extraordinarily rude. Before you think I'm Karening, I came to check in at 2:15 (admittedly my fault for not knowing the time or that check in was at 3:00). After waiting about 5 minutes while two staff members argued in the back room, the woman came out and when I said I was there to check in, she angry-sarcastically asked ”Did someone tell you to come in here because check in is at 3. Is it 3? No, it's not”. When I asked if there was something close that I could do for 40 minutes she just said no. When I asked if there was a place nearby to eat she said no, but you can drive around to find something. When I opened my room, the smell hit me like a physical blow. I wish I could photograph a smell!!! The last person must have been there a long, long time (in guessing many months) and chain smoked in it the entire time. My asthma was instantly flared (didn't have my inhaler with me, which made it worse). I immediately went back and said the room is so smoky and she said she knew and that's why I didn't get charged a deposit but there were no other rooms. I immediately went to buy cleaning supplies and air fresheners. I spent hours washing down all surfaces and walls and floor. It never really made a dent in m how bad the room reeked. I put several air fresheners on the air unit to help more. It didn't. The room was filthy. Two of the three entry door locks were broken and the door jamb was broken, like someone had kicked the door in at one point. The outside of the refrigerator was beyond nasty. The back of the toilet didn't have the right lid. The mirror was not above the sink but to the side so you had to stand against the toilet to see yourself to get ready in the morning. The bathtub didn't hold water for a bath so I had to cut off part of a bread wrapper and hold it with my heel. The toilet paper holder was loose in the wall and the toilet paper fell off every time. The toilet paper roll was almost empty on my arrival (it had 9 squares left). I was there for 8 days and never once got new towels or wash cloth. One washcloth, one hand towel and one towel was all I ever had. They also never took the trash out. The groceries I put in the refrigerator on day one froze overnight, completely ruining two crispers full of salad, fruits and veggies. The bed was like sleeping on a board. It was difficult to even get comfortable enough to fall asleep and I was in extreme pain every morning when I woke up. The pillows were comfortable, but that's it. I'm pretty sure the bedding came from the Dollar Store (if so, they over paid). There were no hangers in the closet at all. There's also no dresser, just two shelves. There was a full kitchenette but no toaster, stove, silverware, plates, bowls or glasses. I had to go buy them all for my 8 day stay. I think the pictures tell a better story of this nightmare. Btw, I travel a LOT and neve

This was our second stay here. All credit goes to the friendly front desk staff, kitchen staff and of course house keeping. They did a great job for the guests. Clean rooms , with all essentials. Fridge, microwave, ironing board with iron, coffee pot with coffee and tea. Shampoo, soaps etc. Daily. Clean towel daily, and beautifully made beds daily. Variety delicious breakfast, served with a big smile. Front desk always checking to see if we are ok. I especially love the complementary pop corn, cookies, coffee and lemon water in the hallway. I really appreciate the security cameras, since we were robbed staying in another hotel nearby. We are satisfied guests and will return in the future. 👍👍👍👍👍

This was a very nice hotel and I will be back when I am in town again.

Very spacious room with microwave and a good size fridge (King Size Bed room). Very clean as well. They honor their room reservations unlike the other hotels in the surrounding area. Never had a problem with Super 8 hotels especially this one.

Like a motel, the room is large, clean, and fully equipped, but because it is close to the highway, there is a car driving overnight. If the sleep is estimated to be a bit noisy, I feel that it is okay after living for 6 days. The only thing I am not happy with is that the breakfast content is too small, but the price is cheap and acceptable.

Was overall good trip, but one big complaint is they have church service on Sundays, and while I don't mind that part, I do mind being right next door room wise to the place when the subwoofer and people screaming wake up my kid. Noone informed us of this before hand and could only say sorry. Also the clerk at front desk js also only person to run the airport shuttle so if he's out and about good luck.

I stayed in several in Spain a few years ago without a hitch. Biggest problem was contacting a living breathing person by phone, but that is par for the course these days, unfortunately. Secondly, there was (for me) a confusing exchange of e-mails that resulted in the contention that they did not have a picture ID on me. I know I had sent this earlier and have the e-mail to prove it. When I sent my ID, I had copied and pasted it in a ”reply” e-mail back to them. Several hours after that when I was freezing in my car outside their facility, I learned they they did not have the ID. So, I sent another picture ID using a new e-mail directly to them rather than simply replying to an older one. Let that be a lesson. Always send new e-mail with any information they need, rather than simply sending it in a ”reply” e-mail that they had sent to you earlier. It may be some e-mail glitch. The only other glitch was after getting inside, I was exhausted and ready to go to bed for some much needed rest. Unfortunately, the ”combination” to the door lock would not open the door to my room. I tried to call them (there were no employees there), but again, the recorded message said to send them an e-mail. Consequently, Multiple e-mails sent back and forth over an extended time when a simple phone call could have resolved the issue in 30 seconds. Long story short, they had given me the incorrect code to my room, but it took multiple e-mails to determine this. Finally, once in the room, I will say the bed was clean and very comfortable. I slept like a bear in hibernation. The room had a real home feel to it, unlike the sterile perfection of a high end motel that I usually stay in. The entire place was also very quiet. I don't know how many other people were there, but there was no wait time the next morning when i took a shower. Shower was also very clean. When I was ready to leave, I hung around a while in the downstairs ”living room/lobby” area expecting there would be an employee there at check out as there always is when staying at a motel, but there was nobody. So, after a short while, I left. I used this place to stay out of curiosity as I usually stay at motels when I come to Houston. But, motels are expensive. The reality is, I never watch TV in a motel. I seldom eat the breakfast at motels or use their in room telephones, pools or workout gyms. When I travel, the only thing I am looking for when it's time to call it a day, is a safe comfortable place to lay myself down to sleep and use the bathroom,,,nothing more. That was the promise of staying in a Hostel, and on that promise, they delivered.

So.. generally I don't really think twice when I check into a hotel but today I had to take notice of Andrea she was efficient attentive but most importantly effective. She went out of her way to turn my day around. Thanks Andrea for the great tip and insights on our way to save on a delicious lunch at a nearby venue! When we arrived at the hotel we were instantly regretting booking a room at this location. The hotel looks like the tower of terror from the Disney movie. We were the only guest. We had tremendous issues checking in even with our Hotels.com reservation. Upon entering our room we realize there were absolutely no towels or hygiene products the hairdryer was just hanging off the wall by one screw. There were cigarette burns all over the bed as well as hair long black hair leaving us wondering if the bed had even been cleaned. The television did not work except for one channel that showed five trailers for on-demand movies which weren’t even available. Almost all of the dressers and knobs in the room were broken off there were stains all over the carpet and it smelt dirty. Thank God we had a concert to go to that evening so we didn’t have to spend much time in the room but the time spent in the room was the worst experience ever. The next morning before we checked out I received an email from Hotels.com asking why I had missed my reservation the hotel never even confirmed that I arrived and paid for my room. Which ruins getting a credit for my rewards for hotels.com during that stay. I would definitely avoid this hotel even at the cheap price cars are sure to get broken into here because there is no security and there’s only ever one staff member at all times

The location of the hotel is also very good, high-speed roadside, a lot of fast food restaurants, and a variety of food and beverage outlets. Parking is also available. There is also a small swimming pool. Some families bring their children to have fun at night, and a single dog like me can sit by the pool and share such joy. The gym is small. The front desk service is very good, order a pizza to find a variety of consulting!

This property really is as clean (and new!) as many reviews claimed. The staff was helpful, the bed is SO comfortable, the room is quiet, and the shower has good water pressure. I had great nights of sleep there and was able to get my work done. ”BYOC” - if you book a room with a kitchenette, you have to bring your own cookware/utensils/dishes; they're not provided. The kitchenette is equipped with a large counter, cabinets, fridge, microwave, and sink. Overall, my stay was great. This is one of the few places where your pets can stay for free. What's even more impressive is that the property is cleaner than many pet-friendly properties that add a huge pet fee. If you're traveling across the state/country with your pup, you can't go wrong with this place!
