Centrally located within Gu Cheng with lots of eateries around! Food is not an issue when you’re around this area and all are good food! I can’t express further how much i love the location. However, it is not really accessible by car so you have to drop outside and walk approximately 300m in to reach the hotel. And I feel they should have more washer and dryer facilities in the premises. All is good and i’ve got nothing to complain about. i love the place, the serenity it provides amidst the buzzing streets and cleanliness they upkeep!

Traveling with friends, this was my first time staying at this hotel. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was struck by its antique charm. Inside, there's a traditional Chinese courtyard with rockeries, ancient trees, and a pond filled with koi. There are also some exquisite lacquerware displays, decorative paintings, and Shoushan stone carvings, giving the place a very cultural vibe.
The room facilities are also quite comprehensive; some rooms even come with a hot tub. Plus, the hotel is located within the Wenrufang area of Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys), making it incredibly convenient for dining and sightseeing. It's not far from the entrance of the alleys, making it easy to catch a taxi, and it's also close to the Dongjiekou commercial district, so transportation is a breeze.
The hotel's downstairs restaurant offers Fuzhou specialty snacks like 'Rou Yan' (meat swallow) and fish balls for breakfast. What's more, right next door is Wenru Jiuhou Min Cuisine Restaurant, a Michelin-starred establishment, and guests get a discount there, which is a nice perk.
Another great thing about this hotel is its butler service. From check-in to dining, accommodation, and transportation, guests feel well-cared for. For example, they provide a daily seasonal fruit platter and exquisite snacks, and they'll also give you a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities, as well as nearby attractions and dining options. This level of service is absolutely fantastic! I hope they keep it up and that the hotel continues to thrive! 😃😃😃🤙🤙🤙

We booked 2 nights stay at Zhangzhou XiangYi hotel on 8 Decemberl. It is located inside the ancient city and is less than 10 mins walk from the main road. The hotel does provide free shuttle bus service to send hotel guests with luggage to and fro the main road. Not sure if it is free both ways as we only requested them to send us to main road after check out.
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. When we arrived, knowing that we had not had lunch yet, the staff named Xiao Ou recommended us a list of good food options surrounding the hotel.
The hotel room is clean and cozy with the basic amenities provided. It will be good if the hotel can provide a small piece of soap to wash hands at the sink. So we make do with it by using the shower gel provided. Not a big issue for us. But the hotel does provide dry and wet slippers which is a plus point.
The hotel staff also told us to get ear plugs from them if we felt noisy at night as our room is facing some pubs opposite the road. But we did not find it too noisy and slept through the night. Maybe, it is winter season, hence not many people stayed out late at night.
The hotel also gave us some vouchers to redeem and use for some activities and food in the ancient city. We only managed to redeem the free muah chee aka glutinous rice balls before we left as we were busy exploring the ancient city.
We had an awesome stay at this hotel. It is comfortable and convenient to stay at this hotel as we could stay out late at night to explore the ancient city.
It is value for money for its strategic location, price and good service. The hotel staff also gave us a goodie bag filled with the traditional biscuits and sweets of Zhangzhou before we left. Thank you!
We stayed at Paragon when we first got married, but didn't try the hot springs. Now, on our second visit, our child is already four and a half – time really flies! This time, I originally booked a villa room, thinking it would have a private hot spring. At check-in, we were even upgraded to a courtyard room. But when we entered the room, I was really disappointed. The room was super tiny; all the space was given to the courtyard, and there was only a narrow path between the TV and the bed. After dinner, the more I thought about it, the more uncomfortable I felt, so I went to the front desk to give feedback. The trainee staff member and her supervisor were excellent; they immediately moved us to a family room on the 17th floor of the main building and gave us unlimited hot spring tickets. Our child was thrilled to see the tent and toys in the new room. So, definitely don't book the villa rooms; the difference in quality is stark. As for the hot springs, I recommend going first thing in the morning. Each spring is clean and smells lovely. When we went on the first evening, some of the springs even smelled like urine. Overall, after moving to the main building, we were satisfied with the service and everything else. It's great for a weekend getaway. When we were leaving, Cody Chen even came over and proactively offered to arrange parking for us if we visited the ancient town.

I gave it a 4.5-star rating, just to keep them humble and prevent them from getting too proud if it were a perfect 5. 😉 The hotel lobby, though small, is cozy and welcoming. There was a lovely, round-faced lady at the front desk who was especially friendly. The bed in the room was very comfortable, and despite being close to the road, the windows offered good sound insulation. However, the soundproofing between rooms wasn't as great. 😅 The restaurant is on the sixth floor; while the breakfast selection isn't vast, it's sufficient. The rooftop view is also quite nice, making it a perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxing. All in all, I was quite satisfied with my stay!

As frequent leisure travellers from Australia, this was our second stay at this hotel during this trip, and we remain exceptionally pleased with our overall experience.
Location & Transportation:
The hotel's location is exceptionally convenient, offering easy access to a vast selection of excellent dining, from local noodle shops to hot pot and barbecue. A metro station providing affordable access to the city centre and beyond is conveniently located just 800 meters away (and is free for those over 65 regardless of nationality). For guests with mobility concerns, we highly recommend DiDi (online taxi service), which we found to be an equally affordable and highly convenient alternative for city travel.
Staff Service:
The hotel staff consistently demonstrated outstanding hospitality. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and efficient, ensuring a seamless check-in and proactively providing airport transfer information before our arrival. This high level of service extended to the pleasant breakfast staff and the cleaning personnel, who offered warm and welcoming greetings each morning.
Laundry & Amenities:
The availability of complimentary and assisted laundry service was a major advantage. This amenity proved highly convenient and essential during our 16-day trip covering Fuzhou and the surrounding area of Pingtan.
Room Quality & Layout:
We were very satisfied with the room's upkeep. It was meticulously cleaned, and the bed sheets, towels, and linens (including pillows) were all immaculately maintained—a crucial factor in our selection criteria. Furthermore, the room's layout was highly practical and luggage-friendly, featuring a logical and efficient arrangement of amenities.
In conclusion, we are highly satisfied with our selection and would unreservedly return to this hotel on any future visit to the city.

This is one of the best hotel experiences I've had recently. Considering the price, it offers exceptional value for money! I'd say the actual experience is on par with what you'd expect from a 2000 RMB hotel overseas.
We stayed for four nights, which gave us a thorough and in-depth understanding of every aspect of the hotel.
The room layout is well-designed with detailed partitioning, making every experience very comfortable. The lighting, in particular, is thoughtfully arranged, and the switches are easy to use! It's clear that the designer not only has an aesthetic eye but also prioritizes practical user experience, balancing both appearance and functionality – which is fantastic!
The hotel service was also excellent. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very attentive; they genuinely seemed dedicated to their work and not just going through the motions.
The hotel's location is also very convenient, offering a quiet retreat in the midst of a bustling area. On our last day, we even walked to Yushan, allowing us to deeply experience local life.
An unexpected surprise on my trip to Zhangzhou! It rained in Zhangzhou, so I spent three days and two nights on Dongshan Island. It rained constantly, and I couldn't get close to the ocean. So, I decided to check out the Tulou (earth buildings) on a whim. I rented a car, enjoyed Yunshui Yao, and drove back to Zhangzhou Old Town. After getting off the highway, I started looking for a hotel. I looked at the online reviews and decided on this one. The reviews were spot-on. The villa was right by the river, only about 10 yuan from the Old Town by Didi. The room had a bathtub, as did the balcony. My hasty departure meant I didn't get to soak in the hot springs or enjoy a cup of tea by the Jiulong River, which was a pity. Next time I come back, Zhangzhou has so much more to offer—beautiful sights and delicious food!
Go for it, you won't regret it! This hot spring hotel delivered all the happiness I needed. The environment is absolutely stunning! Surrounded by green mountains, the hot spring pools are nestled among lush greenery, with mist rising all around like a fairy tale – perfect for photos! The service is impeccable; from the moment I was greeted upon arrival, through check-in, and guidance to the hot springs, the staff were constantly smiling, attentive, and incredibly warm, always ready to help. The food deserves huge praise too; the Chinese and Western buffets offered a huge variety, the desserts were exquisite, and even breakfast was so abundant it was dazzling! The value for money is top-notch. I've already recommended it to my best friend, and I definitely plan to come back for a second visit!

MM46124****The stay was very comfortable. It's not far from the South High-Speed Railway Station. The hotel is quiet and exquisite. Suki at the front desk even helped us upgrade our room. Because we have a baby, she specially arranged for us to stay on the tenth floor, a non-smoking floor. She was very considerate. I felt very good about this trip to Fuzhou.

YYiqitiaowu~I booked the Banyuashan Hot Spring Hotel through Trip.com for my holiday, and it was absolutely worth it! From booking to check-in, the process was seamless. The front desk handled everything quickly, and the staff were incredibly warm and attentive. The room itself was clean, tidy, and had a cozy atmosphere.
The hotel's hot spring area was truly exceptional, with over fifty unique pools. The water was crystal clear, and after a soak, I felt completely refreshed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, both Western and Chinese, catering to all tastes. Plus, there are several attractions nearby, making it very convenient to get around. I sincerely thank Trip.com for helping me find such a fantastic hotel; I'll definitely rely on them for my next trip!

MM2fgqfyzn****The hotel's design is truly stunning, with a unique and stylish aesthetic that makes it look like a magnificent palace from afar. Although the rooms don't have balconies, the windows offer an unobstructed view of the spectacular sea (the scenery differs with high and low tide), making every morning feel like waking up inside a postcard. A major highlight is the outdoor natural seawater hot spring on the first floor – it's real seawater, so much so that prolonged soaking will slightly wrinkle your fingers and you can smell a faint salty scent. Soaking in it during winter is great for your health. The front desk service was friendly and efficient, and they even upgraded my room for free, making the entire check-in experience exceptionally pleasant.

GGuest UserWe decided to book a hotel for a May Day trip, but we didn't expect it to bring us a lot of surprises! The happiness during the holidays is overwhelming😆😆
Environment: The view is unbeatable! Surrounded by mountains, very relaxing
Hot springs: The big pool and private bath are very good, and the skin is smooth after soaking
Accommodation: The bedding is comfortable, the room is spacious, and the view is great
Service: The most praiseworthy! The service was not slack during the holidays, the housekeeping department responded very quickly, and the hotel lobby deputy manager also answered our questions on WeChat in a timely manner!
The whole family loves this place, and I have already made an appointment with good friends to come together next time!

GGuest UserRiyuegu Hotspring Hotel is definitely a MUST staycation. They offer excellent accommodation, especially for expats like us. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of by the friendly and accommodating staff, who made sure all our needs were met with a smile. The rooms are incredibly spacious, providing great comfort at a very affordable price. The amenities are top-notch, with highlights including a relaxing hot spring, a beautiful pool, and a luxurious bathtub—perfect for unwinding after a long day.
The only improvement I’d suggest is to offer a wider variety of breakfast options to cater to different tastes. Overall, Ryuegu Hotspring Resort provided a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend it for both short and extended stays!
