Highly recommend this hotel!
1. The best thing is its location: inside the ancient city, the North Gate leads to the food street and is next to Taigu Bridge; the South Gate connects to Taiwan Road, making it super convenient to reach all the scenic spots and food areas in the ancient city within minutes! You can slowly experience the ancient city by day and night: mornings are peaceful but full of local life, where you can chat with residents and enjoy local breakfast in nearby streets to start a vibrant day; at noon, it's too hot, so head back for a nap and scroll through your phone; at 4 PM, head out to find food or a spot for coffee and just relax; evenings are all about the hustle and bustle!
2. Hotel environment: It has a courtyard design, with flowers and plants everywhere, making it a quiet oasis in the middle of all the action. It offers the warmth of a B&B with the management of a hotel!
3. Room: We chose the 3rd-floor LOFT, which gave the kids their own space. It would have been even more perfect if the view from the balcony was a bit better! The public area on the 2nd floor is also great, you could sit there all afternoon with a coffee or tea.
4. The ancient city offers a variety of snacks, so you can spend a whole day just walking, stopping, eating, and exploring 😁 Everyone can cross中山公园 (Zhongshan Park) to 青年路 (Qingnian Road) for more food! I recommend 锦群饭店 (Jinqun Restaurant); for a Cantonese foodie like me, it's right up my alley – large portions with that 'wok hei' flavor! It has that street-side stall vibe! We ate there two days in a row. Although the rating isn't high, I've included photos, so you can judge for yourselves.
This hotel is located right within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area, seamlessly blending in with its attractions. At first glance, you might even mistake it for one of the old mansions! The 'Fuzhou' stone at the entrance and the walls covered in firecracker flowers draw plenty of people for photos.
They offer exclusive, special services: delicate snacks, fresh fruit, and a warming, small alcoholic drink.
**Room Facilities**: The rooms are entirely Chinese-style. The elegant peony mural above the bed, symbolizing 'spring filling the garden,' and the black-themed furniture are arranged very comfortably.
**Value for Money**: Overall, Fuzhou hotel prices offer good value. Coming back from Chaozhou, the difference in room quality for the same price is quite significant, so I think the value here is really high.
**Breakfast**: Served at the restaurant directly opposite. While the variety isn't huge, it includes local specialties like oyster omelets and 'Laohua' (a local noodle soup). I heard it used to be at another Michelin-starred restaurant – I hope they can switch back to that one next time!
**Bed**: Large and comfortable.
**Hygiene**: Clean.
**Parking**: There's a dedicated parking lot, but since the entire scenic area has stone slab paths, pushing a suitcase is a bit inconvenient. Also, cars can't reach the hotel entrance directly, so you have to walk a bit. Our driver wasn't familiar with the area, which led to a longer detour, making it quite inconvenient.
**Room View**: Opening the wooden lattice windows, you see ancient, quaint surrounding walls.
**Location & Transportation**: Right in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area. For going out, entering from Tonghu Road is more convenient.
**Service**: I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. The uncle at the door carried all my luggage to the room and gave very detailed instructions and explanations. I even thought he was the owner! [Thumbs Up] The most thoughtful touch was the preserved plums – they were quite tasty. However, on the second day, the uncle only placed my luggage outside. If it could have been taken all the way to the roadside, I think the service would have been even more exceptional.
**Bathroom Facilities**: Bright and spotless, with a powerful shower.
The hotel's facilities and decor are all very ancient and elegant, exuding a tranquil charm. Looking at the large koi, I feel like I could spend an entire day just in the hotel.

Hotel is located in the old town and within walking distance to the street for hailing the cab. They also provide shuttle service to the east gate of the old town. The old town is very charming and pleasant to explore, shop and eat.
The hotel room is very clean and tidy. Room outside has balcony to overlook the street. The staff are very helpful to attend our questions, especially provide clear instructions to get to the hotel. We enjoy our stay very much.

Facilities: This hotel just opened recently, so all the facilities and equipment are very new.
Hygiene: The room was also cleaned very well.
Environment: The lobby is quite eye-catching, with a large 'Fu' (fortune) character that's perfect for taking photos.
Service: The hotel staff all have very good service attitudes. When I called the main line with a question, Cindy answered the phone and was very kind and enthusiastic.
This hotel is located by the Jiulong River, directly across from Zhangzhou Old Town. It offers the charm of the old city while providing a peaceful escape from the crowds. From the moment we arrived, we felt the staff's genuine care. The porter brought all our luggage to our room, and Zhang Jingyi at the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our room and gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities. The hotel breakfast, in particular, felt just like home. Cai Chunhua from the Chinese restaurant enthusiastically introduced local delicacies like Shima Wuxiangjuan and Liuao sweet potatoes, patiently bringing each dish to our table. Guests not only get to savor unique local flavors but also learn about the food, making for a truly rewarding experience.
When the hotel first opened, I saw a video about it, so when I came to Zhangzhou this time, I chose to stay here.
Good aspects: The environment is indeed excellent, with a large footprint. The hotel as a whole is grand, and the greenery and views are very pleasant. Soundproofing is decent, and the rooms and public areas are clean. The complimentary sweet soup was delicious, and the fruit was fresh and thoughtful. No strange smells. The parking lot is spacious and clean.
Areas for improvement:
1. During check-in, the front desk was aware that three people, including one child, would be staying in the room, but they didn't ask if we needed extra toiletries, nor were any provided in the room.
2. Throughout our stay, we encountered several staff members, but surprisingly, only four of them actively greeted guests: the young man who delivered disposable cups that evening, the cleaning lady (PA) in the public restroom in the lobby the next day, the staff member in charge of the coffee machine at breakfast, and one front desk staff member during check-out. Many others we saw simply walked past us.
3. The room (5320) had insufficient power outlets. Of the few available, the one at the bar counter was not only unusable, but the entire panel was about to fall off when unplugging something. Additionally, the small desk lacked a tabletop outlet, only having one on the floor, which required crouching to use.
4. The floor of the shower stall and the outer floor were basically at the same level, and the drainage trench was shallow. When showering, water would overflow, which was a bit awkward.
5. As other guests mentioned online, the souvenir was indeed 'invisible' and required guests to ask for it. When we checked out, it was Mid-Autumn Festival, and the staff member offered a fan as a gift, which differed from what other guests reportedly received. It also had lower relevance and brand coherence.
6. The Ctrip benefits included a free Didi (ride-hailing) service to the ancient city. The front desk also knew we might go to the ancient city after checking in and were planning to take a taxi, but they did not proactively ask if we needed help arranging a car.
In summary, these are my and my husband's brief impressions after our one-day stay. Overall, for the price during the National Day holiday, the hotel offered very good value in terms of hardware services. However, for female guests hoping for certain 'soft' services in a five-star hotel, it doesn't meet the value and expectations for its price point.

I extended my stay for another night because of the excellent service. Even though the facilities aren't brand new, the service truly makes up for it. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip, and hopefully, I'll get an extra breakfast voucher next time!

I don't often give five-star recommendations for hotels, but this one truly deserves it!
Originally, I planned to stay at a hotel within Sanfang Qixiang, but as Chinese New Year approached, prices skyrocketed to an absurd level, so I gave up on that idea. My child accidentally stumbled upon this hotel online. A quick search showed it was also near Sanfang Qixiang, and the price was just right, so we booked it without hesitation.
Upon arrival, someone helped us with our luggage and took it up to the elevator. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. Seeing that we had a child, they even upgraded our room! The upgraded room was fantastic – spacious with a large table, perfect for my child to do some writing. We could also gather around the table and watch TV together, which was very convenient.
The hotel's location is superb, close to all the attractions. Sanfang Qixiang is within walking distance, and Lin Zexu's birthplace memorial is just a ten-minute walk away. Other attractions are also quickly accessible by taxi; we went to Fudao and the Forest Park, and taxis both ways were very convenient.
There's a convenience store downstairs from the hotel, and directly opposite is a shopping mall. Zhu Fugui is inside, along with McDonald's, KFC, Pizza Hut, Luckin Coffee, and a whole host of other fast food and coffee shops. On the hotel's ground floor, there's a bakery, a restaurant, and a children's play area. Although the play area is small, it's perfectly adequate, and every evening I saw staff diligently cleaning it. The bakery's bread is very reasonably priced; we even bought a few to take with us when we left Fuzhou. I highly recommend the restaurant on the first floor. We ate dinner there for two consecutive nights. This restaurant ranks second on Dazhong Dianping, the taste is excellent, portions are generous, and it features Fujian specialties. Many locals also dine here, and we noticed it was quite busy in the evenings, which shows how popular it truly is. The service here is excellent, and it offers great value for money – highly recommended! The hotel breakfast is also served at this same restaurant on the first floor. The breakfast entirely considers the guests' experience; in addition to the standard breakfast items found at other hotels, it also offers many Fuzhou local specialties such as Mianxian paste, Laohua, and fish balls, allowing those who don't have time to try local snacks to enjoy them thoroughly at breakfast.
In summary, our whole family was very satisfied with our three-day, two-night stay here. The staff were all very warm and patient. The hotel room was clean and tidy; even for someone with mild潔癖 (germaphobia) like me, I found it exceptionally clean, which shows a lot of genuine effort. I strongly recommend it to everyone, especially tourists visiting Fuzhou with children.

This was my first time in Fuzhou, and I'm really happy with my choice of the Mercure Sanfang Qixiang, booked through Trip.com. The rooms are clean and tidy, and staying on a higher floor offered a great view of the bustling city. The breakfast on the 29th-floor rooftop was especially impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options, including local specialties. The hotel's location is excellent; it's very close to Provincial Hospital Station on Metro Line 4, and Sanfang Qixiang is just one stop away, or an easy walk. We visited Xichan Temple, Gulou Scenic Area, Dingguang Temple, and Yushan Park – all historically rich and very enjoyable. They're all easily accessible by metro or bus. The off-season price was really good value for money. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

The shangri-la putian is conveniently located opposite a huge shopping mall and beside a garden. The room was nice and cosy and the service was attentive and impeccable, with Melvin (?) accompanying us to the room and constantly asked if we needed help with anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and gave us many suggestions on where we could go during our stay and rarely have we experienced such excellent level of hospitality when staying at similar hotels. The river view we had was amazing. Food at shang garden was tasty, and Lydia's service was excellent, offering us extra snacks and soup. The portions served were huge and reasonably priced. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Putian!

Right at the start, we had a problem with the payment with our foreign card. The management and staff were very helpful and the problem got solved. Although there was the language barrier, all the staff and the housekeepers always attended to us very friendly and helped us with everything. So the service was excellent. Even at the breakfast buffet, they helped us to find food which is suitable for Muslins. The rooms are spacious, modern, well equipped and absolutely clean with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Laundry service is available for free. The atmosphere in overall is pleasant and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Fuzhou.

Very impressed with the level of service in ME Hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted with the concierge who helped us with our luggage. Check in was a breeze. All check in staff were extremely polite. We inquired about purchasing the Body lotion and the assistance from Ms Xiaomi( 小米)was so warming and smooth. She explained very clearly and helped with couriering the lotion to our next destination in Shanghai. Many thanks to Ms Xiaomi. Such high level of service touched us very much. The hotel bed is very comfortable. Lobby feels grand. Oh yes, the breakfast is excellent. Overall good hotel and we will return to stay at our next visit.
This hot spring resort is one of the best destinations for hot springs in China. Just a 40-minute taxi ride from Xiamen, it features numerous small hot pools scattered across a lush hillside with a gently flowing creek, creating the perfect natural setting to unwind and soak in the warm waters. Complimentary unlimited lemon and ginger tea keep you refreshed throughout your visit. During my stay, I even enjoyed a morning run up the hill where I passed a golf driving range and a training facility that seems ideal for team-building activities. In fact, I’m considering hosting international conferences or workshops here in the future. One tip: make sure to run for your breakfast as early as possible to beat the crowds. The staff here make the experience even more memorable—Lin Meili is exceptionally kind and welcoming, and the front desk manager, fluent in English, is always ready to assist with any needs. If you’re seeking a serene natural hot spring experience paired with modern amenities, this resort is the ideal choice. The massage service is a fantastic bonus that adds to the overall relaxation. I can’t wait to return again and again.
The Vibe : from the second we arrived, we were blown away by the archutecture and interior design. Its visual masterpiece. The Services : a huge thank you to front desk; housekeeping and restaurant teams. They were so patient and helpful with my elderly parent and my toddler. Even with a language barrier, their kindness translated perfectly. The location : ideally suitated in thr old town. It made exploring so easy with a young child and seniors. Value : for the price range, the quality of service and the beauty of the property are unbeatable.
Overall, a good hotel good place for a price staff is very cordial and helpful. I stayed one night and found it to be comfortable room for nice and clean air conditioning was working. Breakfast was decent.
I had an excellent stay! The room boasts stunning sea views—overlooking the blue sea and sky, with gentle waves rolling by, offering a truly relaxing vibe. The hotel features unique and stylish design, sleek lines and exquisite decor that exude elegance everywhere. The outdoor hotspring is perfect. The receptionist is friendly and professional, actively helping us to arrange shuttle bus to the airport and giving careful guidance, making the whole experience comfortable and satisfying. Highly recommended!

You can enjoy the hot springs and the scenery at the same time, making for an incredibly fulfilling experience! The front desk lady even helped with our luggage, and there were small gifts in the room, which was a real surprise. Plus, Xiao Hu from the hotel introduced us to fun places and good food nearby.
