The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, offering prime waterfall views. I loved the decor; the guesthouse exterior has a charming Tujia stilted building style, while the interior is very modern and stylish – excellent all around. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Sitting on the balcony, sipping tea, and watching the waterfall at night was incredibly serene. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, even bringing us a generous fruit platter and afternoon tea. Highly recommend!

It was my first time to come to Tongcheng Hot Springs and I felt very comfortable staying here. I have been to so many hot spring hotels and still think this one is really great. The best thing here is that the service level is really considerate and comparable to that of peers. This time, my friend was not feeling well, and Xiao Wen at the front desk helped prepare brown sugar ginger water and delivered it directly to our room. I was very hungry after taking a hot spring bath at night, so the takeaway I ordered was delivered to my room. We were helped with our luggage during check-in and check-out, and we were asked if we needed a late check-out. The whole stay experience was really good. The hotel breakfast is also good, with a wide variety, especially the rice noodles are delicious. Although the room is decorated in a retro style, the bed is big and very comfortable. The hotel is very close to the hot spring, on the first floor of the building where we live, so it's no problem even if the weather is cold. We will definitely stay here next time we visit!

I'm still on my way home, but I had to write this review right away. This hotel was such a pleasant surprise on our trip! It deserves a five-star rating for its ambiance, facilities, service, and value for money. Firstly, the surroundings are quiet and beautiful, with the Wangcun Wooden Archway and the Geological Park Museum right across the street. The rooms are quite spacious, with corner floor-to-ceiling windows and even a tea set on a large wooden table. Of course, the hotel isn't directly inside the scenic area, but that also means you avoid the noisy crowds, the sound of rushing water, and having to drag your luggage over cobblestone paths. The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the scenic area. This brings me to the excellent service: we followed the itinerary and schedule recommended by the staff, and after watching the last show, even before we contacted them, we received a message asking where we were so they could pick us up. Such proactive service deserves a big thumbs up! Finally, the private photo spots recommended by the hotel allowed us to avoid the crowds and enjoy the stunning waterfall scenery.

The location is pretty good, right in the city center downstairs, making it very convenient for all the nearby attractions. The environment is lovely, the room facilities are complete, and the toiletries are high-quality. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service throughout our stay, always ready to help with anything we needed.

The front desk service was highly efficient: even though our room wasn't ready at check-in, the staff quickly arranged a room for us to rest. Housekeeping staff were friendly and incredibly responsive, promptly providing bath covers, slippers, and addressing our AC issues. Breakfast had a perfect crowd flow and delicious food. The pool was excellent!!! The shuttle service to/from the high-speed rail station was incredibly efficient – a huge thumbs up! Also, the convenient little path down the mountain from the hotel leads you past Shen Congwen's tomb directly to the Tuojiang River. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Fenghuang. A few suggestions: 1. The floor-to-ceiling window in room 5015 was broken. 2. There's a significant need for shuttle service from the high-speed rail station *to* the hotel as well, as independent travel can be inconvenient without a car. 3. The dust and grime on the hotel's exterior and balconies were quite noticeable, making the building appear a bit old and worn.

This hotel is located in a prime area, making travel incredibly convenient. What's truly amazing is how it cleverly avoids the hustle and bustle, tucked away in a peaceful spot. It truly embodies 'bustling outside, serene inside.' It's just a few minutes' walk to major attractions and food streets, so you can easily return for a rest whenever you get tired, which makes for an excellent experience. The service here is the hotel's soul! From the front desk to room service, every staff member is smiling, warm, and attentive. The bedding is top-notch, feeling like you're wrapped in clouds, guaranteeing a dreamless sleep until morning. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, all facilities are smart, and the hot water is stable with excellent pressure, washing away the day's fatigue. Even the small details are perfectly executed, such as the complimentary mini-bar and the exceptionally soundproof windows, ensuring absolute quiet and privacy.

The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, with an excellent bed, we slept really well. The large window also brought in plenty of natural light. The location is excellent, and the staff were very attentive. They even called us in advance to confirm our arrival time and ask if we needed any assistance. Since the hotel is in a pedestrian area, they kindly carried our bags from the car and even took us to the train station. The host gave us tips on what to do in the city and even accompanied us. The hotel also has a private viewpoint overlooking the waterfall. He recommended some restaurants and bars as well, and the one we tried was good.

The hotel is located within the Dehang Miao Village scenic area. From the moment we placed our reservation, the front desk lady immediately contacted us and created a group chat. She also purchased tickets for the village in advance and met us at the entrance, carrying our luggage directly to our room. The moment we entered the room, we were completely captivated. The view from the balcony was like a painting: the bamboo forest, stream, and wooden buildings were breathtaking. The cleanliness was incredibly reassuring. The bedding, bathroom, and every nook were immaculately clean. The room also featured exquisite Miao embroidery and Miao silver. The most amazing thing was the service. The hotel delivered breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening sweet soup to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. This trip to Xiangxi was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice place, quiet and comfortable environment. The room was very bright and spacious and the large terrace was very nice. There is a skylight above the bathtub, which is very special. You can see the stars in summer! The service is standard and the staff are warm and courteous. There are not many hot spring pools, the pools are clean and the water temperature is relatively mild. It is not very convenient that there is no dehydrator in the locker room. The breakfast is not bad, not much variety, but quite delicious. The food from the Chinese restaurant tastes pretty good, but a little too oily.
