WWodexiaoxiongnaI recently stayed at the Shenyang Qinghe Peninsula Hot Spring Resort, and overall, my experience was fantastic.
The resort grounds are expansive, with a tranquil environment and excellent greenery. The moment you enter, you instantly feel like you're on vacation. The room was clean and tidy, spacious, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to a very restful night's sleep.
The biggest highlight was the hot spring area. There was a wide variety of pools, and the water quality was clean, with both indoor and outdoor options. After a soak, I felt incredibly relaxed, making it perfect for a weekend escape. The public areas were also well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and always prompt in assisting with any issues.
Breakfast offered a rich variety of Chinese and Western options, and the taste was great, with timely replenishment. Overall, whether it's for a family trip, a romantic getaway, or a relaxing break with friends, this resort is an excellent choice.

KKoshkina AnastasiiaThe hotel isn't new, but it's well-maintained, and the landscaping is beyond reproach! We took the metro to the final station, then a Didi/Alipay taxi. It was 14:00 there and 18:00 back. We booked a very basic room with one large bed, which looked like it was 2 by 2 meters. We stayed in November. The whole hotel was warm. There's a separate area with large indoor pools and slides for children aged 3 or older. The onsen itself is divided into three equal parts: one common area and two specifically for men and women, where swimsuits are not allowed. The common area has two outdoor onsen and a large heated pool. The women's area has a more fun outdoor landscape and baths than the common area. There were always crowds of people there. Sometimes it was children screaming and splashing around. Sometimes it was just peace and quiet. It closes at 9:00 PM, so we were practically alone in the evening. It's a perfect place for autumn! The air is cool, and sitting in the bath by the moonlight is pure bliss!!! There are also separate foot baths outside. They also have a really great atmosphere. We looked at the menu; the dishes were complex, with lots of sauces and seafood. The prices were high, but we didn't feel like eating them. The breakfast was beautifully presented, but rather basic, nothing special. We had the same at the Ibis. Overall, we were very pleased! You could stay for 2-3 days and really chill out, if only the food was more basic or we could get the hang of delivery. We paid 12,400 rubles per night; we were with a 10-year-old child, but he's not very expensive, so there were no extra charges. Overall, it was a great experience for the cold season! We recommend it.

QQimiaodedengtaThe purpose of this trip to Benxi was twofold: Firstly, to take my seventy-year-old parents back to Benxi Water Caves, revisiting a place from their vibrant youth and reliving those passionate memories. Secondly, it was to help my daughter de-stress before she transitions from primary to junior high, as she's about to step into the demanding arena of life.
**Reason for choosing this place:** We picked Guan Shan Lake Xikang Yunshe because its online photos were simply breathtaking – showcasing stunning scenery, lush greenery, magnificent views, and picturesque beauty that truly captivated me and made me want to experience it firsthand. (Honestly, with so many guesthouses and hotels sprouting up across Benxi like mushrooms after rain these past two years, to avoid decision paralysis, I simply picked the top-ranked one.)
**First Impression:** The mountains were in a languid slumber, while the clouds playfully sketched the outline of a castle. At three in the afternoon, the golden sunlight pierced through the clouds, bathing the grey castle in a glow that felt like a divine touch and special favor. (Though this description might seem a bit exaggerated, I believe even Eileen Chang would write it this way.)
Let me discuss the facilities, hygiene, environment, service, unique hot springs, and buffet breakfast all at once:
* **Facilities:** Among all hotels I've stayed at in the same price range, these are personally the most satisfactory and my favorite.
* **Hygiene:** There's still room for improvement. I admit I have exceptionally high standards for cleanliness; my husband, whose pocket money has been depleted by my pickiness, can attest to that.
* **Environment:** The advantages here are self-evident: blessed with unique green mountains, clear waters, and swirling mist. There's simply no room for me to find fault, and I suspect the people of Benxi wouldn't allow it anyway!
* **Service:** I deliberately tried to count the staff members I encountered: two doormen, four charming front desk staff, a villa driver, a room cleaning attendant, kitchen/delivery personnel, staff in the hot spring area, and dining areas... Oh, never mind, I confess my math isn't good enough to count them all. In short, every staff member I met was patient, caring, and dedicated. Their service was perfectly balanced, attentive without being overly enthusiastic. Yes, the hotel management behind the scenes certainly deserves a grand commendation.
* **Unique Hot Springs:** Both my mom and daughter had a wonderful time soaking. My daughter was thrilled because there was unlimited ice cream available, which she could openly and freely enjoy – something I don't usually permit at home. My mom, in turn, was happy seeing her daughter so joyful. Given that the ice cream was actually quite high-quality, I even broke my own rule and indulged in quite a bit. It wasn't just about taking advantage of something free; it was more about not wanting to be a hypocrite with one rule for them and another for me. There were also plenty of unlimited fruits and snacks, perfect for quenching thirst and cooling down.
* **Buffet Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety. I prefer strong flavors in the morning and enjoyed a generous amount of boiled shrimp, baked beans in tomato sauce, Italian beef brisket, bacon, and homemade yogurt. For those who prefer lighter options, the traditional Chinese breakfast choices were truly dazzling.
**A Side Note:** At 4:27 AM, I leaned by the hot spring pool in my room. The water temperature was 37.2 degrees Celsius, exactly half a degree higher than my body temperature – just enough to help my tense nerves loosen their first button. True enjoyment, I realized, is found in places where even time seems to slow down. At that moment, I gazed at the mist still lingering over the distant mountains and fields outside my window, then slowly closed my eyes, drifting back into a soothing dream, only to be awakened by: ”Mom, Mom, Mom, is the hot spring water ready for me?!”

MM312158****This hotel is in a fantastic location, making it super convenient to get around. The room was spotless and fresh, no odd smells at all. Breakfast was delicious, and they even have a gym. The value for money is exceptional! They even gave us complimentary hot spring tickets for the spa downstairs, and the scrubbing service was great. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

One of the best parts of our stay was the excellent help we received from Brynn, a staff member who spoke English very well. Since we don’t speak Chinese, her support made everything easier—from room service to general questions. She was kind, professional, and even checked on us after we left. Thanks to her and the friendly staff, our stay was smooth and enjoyable.

The water was very pure, but there was a little scale, which was acceptable. It was quite warm. They also gave us free drinks. There was a refrigerator. GGuest UserI am very glad that I chose Fengxiang Valley Hot Spring Hotel. The hotel has a good environment, clean and sanitary conditions and complete facilities. I have to say something special about the service. The front desk staff was very nice. After we checked in, one of them actually helped us take our things to the room. She then told me her last name was Meng and that she was my service butler. I could send her a WeChat message if I had any requests. I was really warmed at that moment. We chose a room with a private pool. There are many hot springs in the hotel, both indoors and outdoors. However, due to the cold weather, we did not go to the outdoor pool. The child loved playing in the indoor children's water play area. There was also a large swimming pool next to it. She also learned how to swim from her father. The breakfast was also very rich. The coffee made by the coffee machine is good ☕️ We ordered home-cooked dishes at the hotel restaurant for dinner. The children liked the roasted eggplant and Chinese cabbage meatballs very much. I feel very comfortable when I get up in the morning, open the balcony door and breathe in the fresh air. In short: this is a hotel that values privacy and quality, and we hope to keep this up. Will visit often in the future.

The only thing I was unhappy with was a male staff member who called about half an hour before check-out. His tone was very stiff, as if he was trying to rush us out! He told us check-out was at 12 PM, and then repeated it. It's not my first time staying in a hotel; who would drag their feet and not leave??? I suggest the hotel changes its reminder method, so other guests don't feel uncomfortable.
Overall, the service experience during this stay was not better than other hotels; in fact, it was quite a bit worse.

The hotel facilities are even better. The room is warm and elegant, clean and tidy. The hot spring pool has clear water and a suitable temperature. Take a dip in the cold winter and your fatigue will disappear. The villa environment is quiet and beautiful, and the surrounding scenery is pleasant. And the supporting facilities are complete, whether it is leisure or entertainment, it can meet the needs.
This stay experience is great, whether it is the elderly or children, they are full of praise. I will come again if I have the opportunity in the future, and I will recommend it to my relatives and friends around me!
