Staying at the Jiangye Hotel was a delightful surprise! The room was spacious and bright with a well-thought-out layout and ample storage, perfect for an extended vacation. The hotel offers a free laundry room and a garment steamer, making it incredibly convenient for managing clothes while traveling. Breakfast is a set Chinese menu, nutritious and authentic, with delicious rice noodles and pastries. It's not far from the subway station, so getting around is easy, and there's a bustling snack street nearby. The staff were very responsive to all our requests, making for an absolutely fantastic experience!
This is a great hotel that's not only well-designed but also provides excellent service.
The hotel offers a convenient buggy service from the lobby to all the rooms, and the concierge staff are very responsible and polite.
The bedding is comfortable and clean. The bathroom design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also thoughtfully provides privacy.
We were a party of three, so we requested an extra bed, which was already set up for us before we even arrived.
The private hot spring pool was sanitized, making it comfortable and reassuring to use. We could even enjoy views of Dongfengyun directly from our room's hot spring – absolutely fantastic!
My only minor suggestion would be to offer a wider variety of dining options.
**Dongfengyun Characteristic Town Tickets and Sightseeing Car Tickets:** The hotel's sightseeing car offers direct pick-up and drop-off to the scenic area, which is very convenient.
**5 Retouched Digital Photos for Travel Photography (advance booking required):** The photo quality was excellent, and the photographer was very professional 👍. The composition and pose guidance were spot-on. I loved them so much that I paid to purchase additional unedited photos.

Starting from good things. Room with private hot spring was nice and clean and bed and bed linen was great. Despite hot spring pool was leaking and needed to refill constantly. But no problem with that if water supply is turned on and you can operate yourself with valves. Hotel staff recommended many places for eating outside. Thanks for that!
We arrived before check in time and asked to spend our time near the pool area which was not problem. When I was looking for toilet then lady from shop told to me that I should go outside the territory and use toilet which is for camper van people. And it was not toilet but old school ditch. Fortunately it was cleaned.
Lot of things are in real life different than in pictures what you can find in web pages. Many hot springs was closed, on site was not operating restaurants and bars. Only you can order food from app or go outside. Area is under the airplanes take off route that means in daytime lot of noise.
About 6pm domestic water supply was turned off and situation lasted until our leaving next day about 11am. Hotel staff wrote that if you want to use toilet I should let them know and they will find a solution. No shower or washing. Breakfast was simple. In the breakfast area is operational coffee machine but for some reason lady behind the table told that not possible and drink cold pre brewed ice coffee? I hope that it’s not connected with lack of water supply. Machine may be filled with purified bottle water not local tap water.

Dear General Manager of Pullman Lijiang,
I am writing this review to express our sincere appreciation for the exceptional and heartwarming service provided by Rita throughout our stay.
Rita's professional service at Pullman Lijiang truly sets a five-star standard! Her attentiveness was evident from the booking confirmation all the way to our departure, embodying the true essence of quality service. Upon arrival, she had already pre-checked our requirements, swiftly handled our check-in, and meticulously explained the hotel facilities and unique Naxi cultural services. She recommended local eateries and attractions and provided detailed information regarding hotel amenities, dining options, and room service.
During our explorations, we casually mentioned our interest in finding some less-known scenic spots. Rita immediately drew us a handwritten guide, highlighting prime photography locations for the snow-capped mountains away from the crowds, and suggesting authentic local restaurants. When a minor issue arose with our room facilities, she promptly coordinated a resolution within ten minutes of our feedback and even sent apology fruits to our room. Upon check-out, she not only processed everything efficiently but also thoughtfully prepared a farewell gift for us.
Rita's service seamlessly blended standardized professionalism with personalized warmth. She was patient, thorough, and incredibly responsive. Thanks to her recommendations, we even captured stunning photos of the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise,' making our time at Pullman Lijiang exceptionally comfortable and pleasant. I highly recommend her!

At Jiang Yu Jiang Jing, turn your vacation into poetry.
I've always yearned for the vibrant yet gentle charm of Xishuangbanna. To choose a place to stay, with a river view, and live life like poetry – choosing Jiang Yu Jiang Jing Hotel this time was truly a brilliant decision!
Opening the window in the morning, I was greeted by Xishuangbanna's clearest scenery: blue skies and white clouds spread out boundlessly. Watching the river tide roll in, the clouds unfurl and drift away, letting time flow by slowly. Everything my eyes fell upon was therapeutic; even my breathing became light and free!
The room was spacious and expansive, with a huge scenic window framing the stunning beauty of the Lancang River. Lying in bed, I could fully admire the day and night splendor unique to the Lancang River.
The afternoon was best spent enjoying a leisurely afternoon tea by the hotel pool. Exquisite pastries paired with their signature iced coffee gently soothed my taste buds. My body and mind were enveloped in this sense of relaxation; all tension and anxiety melted away, leaving only a refreshed and carefree feeling, with a relaxed smile on my face.
With the Lancang River view as a backdrop and the blue sky and white clouds as the scenery, everything within sight was magnificent. Waking up with a smile, settling down peacefully at dusk – this entire stay has been transformed into the most comfortable and carefree experience!
The service is good. There is a guy at the door who takes the luggage and greets you with a smile. The breakfast is also very rich. I especially like the taste of pig intestine noodles. It feels very close to nature to have breakfast outdoors outside the restaurant. I will come again if I have the chance.

Stepping into the courtyard, the blue tiles and white walls, reflected by the gentle flow of water around wooden corridors, immediately strike you. The charm of traditional Naxi architecture blends with modern minimalist design, creating a unique and delicate atmosphere. Every photo you take here turns out to be a stunning, naturally filtered shot.
The details in the room are truly captivating. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows bring the scenery of distant mountains and nearby alleys right into your space. You wake up to the morning sun and fall asleep to the soft glow of the ancient town at night. The custom-made cotton and linen bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, and the smart devices and thermostatic shower in the bathroom instantly melt away any travel fatigue.
My favorite spot is the cafe on the second floor, perfect for an afternoon tea.
The hotel's service is incredibly thoughtful. In the morning, they offer a special, authentic, and delicious rice noodle breakfast! They even provide a late-night snack; when we were out in the evening, the staff thoughtfully prepared a sweet white fungus soup for us.
This was the most relaxing and considerate part of my Lijiang trip.

This hotel by Dianchi Lake is pretty good all-around. The environment, of course, is fantastic. The open-plan lobby is very grand, and the jewelry sold in the shops reflects its upscale positioning. I even tried some Pu'er tea at the tea shop, and it was rich and fragrant.
The public areas are huge. I heard there are peacocks somewhere, but I asked several staff members, and they all said they didn't know where they were, which was a bit funny. Even though I stayed for three nights, I still didn't get a chance to use the hot springs.
Breakfast was quite varied, but I actually started feeling a bit of altitude sickness and couldn't eat much. The restaurant itself was a bit hard to find; I walked around for a long time on the first day trying to locate it. It would be great if the signs along the way were more detailed.
It's about a 20-minute walk to Haigeng Dam by Dianchi Lake, or even 10-15 minutes if you walk quickly. The scenery along the way is beautiful, perfect for a stroll and to aid digestion.
Among the five hotels we experienced during our Yunnan trip, we all agreed this was the standout!
1. Having stayed at numerous branded hotels, this was the first time we were met by a concierge right as we pulled into the parking lot. A fantastic touch!
2. There was a great selection of dining options; we opted for the restaurant/bar. Even at 9 PM, the food was absolutely delicious and fresh, with no compromise on quality.
3. It was a family member's birthday during our visit, and the hotel thoughtfully sent up a complimentary birthday cake!
The only point for improvement concerns the swimming pool. It was simultaneously open to external training classes, which meant it got quite crowded. As a result, the water quality was noticeably poor, appearing yellowish and cloudy.
I chose this place for my weekend getaway by Erhai Lake. The decor is full of exquisite details, and all the amenities are high-quality. The staff, from the lovely ladies at the front desk to the handsome guy on night duty, the auntie serving breakfast, and even the chef, were all incredibly thoughtful!
Seriously, from the moment we arrived in the afternoon, starting with afternoon tea, everything felt so warm and welcoming. The latte art for afternoon tea was meticulously crafted, with rich, creamy foam. The cakes even matched the room's decor – how amazing is that?! We also had tremella soup in the evening.
The rice noodles at breakfast were absolutely delicious! The accompanying whole grain staples included corn, pumpkin, sweet potato, tangyuan (glutinous rice balls), eggs, and bread. And the view? You get a panoramic vista of Erhai Lake! It's both serene and artistically vibrant!
I really think their official description is too modest! The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the toiletries, toilet, even the showerhead were all top-notch. The foot bath room even had a floor-to-ceiling window with an electric transparency function – that was a pleasant surprise! They had a Dyson hairdryer, wooden combs, and huge succulent potted plants. I'm so tired, I can't even praise them anymore. I have to complain again about their promotional video; it doesn't describe the place nearly as well as I just did. This place is truly worth coming back to for multiple vacations!

OOlive GohWhen I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made.
The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car.
When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff.
The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion.
This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time!
One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay.
Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

AAnggesangsongjiangShangri-La Impression Tianlu Hotel is nestled between Shika Snow Mountain and Napa Lake, where traditional ******* white buildings blend with snow-capped mountains and grasslands to form a breathtaking landscape. The highlight is the rooftop infinity hot spring, offering panoramic views of the plateau while you soak, though it can be quite windy in winter, so be prepared. The guest rooms combine ******* elements with modern amenities, featuring central heating to combat the high-altitude chill and soundproof windows for a peaceful night's sleep. The service is attentive, with paid shuttle services and customized itineraries available. Breakfast includes local specialties like highland barley cake. It offers great value for money during the off-season, but for scenic rooms during peak season, booking in advance is a must. This hotel is perfect for travelers seeking a unique experience, and having a car makes it even more convenient, as it's only a 10-minute drive from the ancient town. It's excellent, truly excellent. I stayed for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. The room even has a fireplace, which is a really nice touch.

LLirunxuanThe hotel is quite new and modern overall, with automatic curtains. It's very dry here, so the humidifier in the room was a great touch. The price was also affordable, offering good value for money. I heard the breakfast was extensive; I had to leave early to see the sunrise over the snow-capped mountains, but I did glimpse the restaurant on my way out, and it looked very impressive. It's a shame I didn't have time to experience it, maybe next time. It's close to Lijiang Ancient Town, very near Zhongyi Market, and in the city center, making it convenient for getting around. The room was exceptionally clean, and there's a smart speaker (Xiao Du) that played soft music, helping me fall asleep quickly. I arrived late at night and spent New Year's Eve here, which made for a rather special day! The front desk staff and concierge were very warm, attentive, and provided excellent service. I'll definitely be back next time.
MM55355****Cangshan No. 1 is a hotel with advanced concepts. The management model is a team of butlers who create a feeling of home for guests and think of everything in front of them.
The environment is beautiful and beautiful, with swimming pools, white beaches, coconut trees... creating a different paradise.
Every employee has a strong sense of priority and their service attitude is excellent, gentle and comfortable. Not only did he take the initiative to inquire, but he also introduced the characteristics and customs of the Bai people in a very thoughtful way.
The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Each room has its own bathing pool, dry and wet are separated, and even the toilet is fully automatic. Very clean!
Breakfast and afternoon tea are richly prepared and have local characteristics. There is also a heart-warming evening sweet soup every night. My family and I felt that choosing Cangshan No. 1 for this trip was a great value!

MM2gldnxng****Staying at 'Wanniao Guichao' with the family, complete with a private hot spring pool, exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and clean, and the pool temperature was just right; the kids had a blast, and the adults could truly relax. The moment we checked into 'Wanniao Guichao,' it felt like surrendering ourselves to nature. The private hot spring in the courtyard glowed warmly under the lights, and soaking in the spring while stargazing felt like all our fatigue melted away. The room design was unique and full of thoughtful details, and the service was gentle and attentive. This was a trip that truly made us want to slow down. The hotel environment is quiet, the air is fresh, and the breakfast is plentiful. The staff are warm and patient. We'll definitely choose this place again when we return to Dali.
__WeChat22856****This hotel is right by the sea, and all the rooms facing Erhai Lake have balconies, perfect for watching the sunset and feeding seagulls without even leaving your room. The room itself is quite spacious; the one we booked even had an extra-large bathtub with a view.
The downstairs restaurant is fantastic for photos.
The hotel's location is near the northern part of Shuanglang Ancient Town's center. It's just a one or two-minute walk from the hotel entrance through an alley to the main street.
What really stood out was the incredibly thoughtful and attentive service, which was especially heartwarming for a winter trip. Not only did they give us a small gift and warm bottled water at check-out, but every evening they also delivered warm drinks like milk or tremella soup to our room.
The breakfast was also excellent. Each person gets a set meal, and the ingredients change daily, plus you can ask for refills if you need more.
My only minor complaints are that there are two ongoing construction projects in the small alley where the hotel is located, which makes the external environment look a bit messy. Also, while the room was spacious enough, the soft furnishings could be laid out more logically. For example, there should be a rack or cabinet near the bathroom door for towels and clothes, and the sink area felt a bit cramped.
Photo 1 is the balcony, Photo 2 is an interior view of the room. Photos 3 and 4 were taken in the downstairs restaurant.
GGuest UserThe place is absolutul beautiful. A bit far from the airport but still easy to access with a taxi. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast very divers, the hot springs are absolutely amazing, definitely choose the option that includes hot springs. What we appreciated the most were the personnel - so kind and helpful and the surroundings are a true peacefulness oasis! We would all go back in a heart beat! If you plan a trip to this area- this hotel is far from the traditional visiting spots so you might wanna take 3 days just for that area and for the peace it will bring to you, than move to Jinghong to be closer to the well know spots of Xishuangbanna.
