It was nice stay. The hotel has their free Onsen (public bath) and it was not bad. I gelt their breakfast was local (nagoya?) taste. I saw variety jp meals there.
Located right next to the Ure River, with a nice view from the room. As it has only 5-6 rooms, it is pretty exclusive. You can use their 2 hotspring baths privately for 45mins each time, or you can take a short walk over to their 2 sister hotels for bigger hotspring baths. This is the only hotel in the Hazu Group that serves Medicinal Cuisine. As the hotel seems to be converted from a traditional old house, the stairways can be cramped and not suitable for bringing large suitcases, so just pack a small bag and leave the suitcase downstairs or in the car. Had a relaxing time there.
The facilities are in good condition for their age, but the building is large and spacious. Parking is a bit far away, which can be a challenge. The room has the bare minimum of amenities, so there are no problems. The food was delicious and well-cooked, which was satisfying.
A fantastic, luxurious hotel with excellent facilities and an incredibly comfortable night’s sleep. From the moment we arrived, everything felt polished and well thought out. The onsen was a real highlight—relaxing, clean, and a perfect way to unwind after a long day. The view of the castle from the lobby was absolutely stunning and added a special touch to the overall experience.
The room itself was spacious and very comfortable, with thoughtful amenities such Nespresso machine made the stay even more convenient. We especially loved having a private balcony with seating, offering a beautiful view and a great spot to relax.
Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely come back again.

The best choice for a budget solo traveler. It offers free unlimited drinks all day, unlimited curry with rice for breakfast, unlimited fresh ramen noodles at night, and free alcoholic drinks in the evening.
There is a lounge on the 11th floor, a public bath with a hot pool and sauna, and free shampoo, body soap, conditioner, hair gel, hair spray, and face and body lotion. It also provides free toothbrushes and razors. The locker fits a 20kg size luggage if not, you can put it at the large luggage compartment and ask for chain with lock at the lobby. There are coin washing machines and dryers available as well.
Heads up to those with tattoos: this hotel only has a public bath, and tattoos are not allowed.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel and had a truly pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well-maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities including a soft bed, clean bathroom, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
The location was also perfect – close to many attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it very convenient to explore the area. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and relaxing.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. I’m already looking forward to coming back!
It was a short and easy ride on train from airport. Only about 10 min. The price was reasonable. The service was alright. Brealfast was alright. They have an onsen but we didn't use it. Our neighbors were loud in the morning and the walls were thin. Bed was smal but room was spacious. It was clean and convenient and that was most important.
This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! From the lobby and guest rooms to the views and facilities, the value for money is simply impeccable!
Since I was traveling solo and had no language barriers, I used a combination of public transportation and hiking through farmland and up mountains. It was quite a journey, but the scenery along the way, especially the sudden appearance of the sea at the end, was incredibly refreshing!
The hotel actually provides a free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. For pick-up, you need to contact them in advance (I didn't have experience with this). For drop-off/drop-off, you just need to book the night before. Why bother with public transportation?
My stay at the Ryugu Hotel was truly wonderful!
First, the hotel's location is exceptional. The open-air hot spring offers breathtaking views of the ocean, from the morning glow to the evening sunset. Soaking in the hot spring while gazing at the ocean is truly an extraordinary experience.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a modern Japanese décor that evoked a sense of tranquility and relaxation. With the ocean view just outside the window, staying in the room felt like being in paradise, leaving you wanting to leave.
Dinner was a traditional kaiseki ryori, each dish meticulously crafted with abundant local ingredients. It was both delicious and visually pleasing. The sashimi and grilled items were particularly impressive and satisfying.
The staff were also incredibly friendly and welcoming, and from check-in to check-out, their attentive service was truly heartwarming. Their attentive hospitality was truly touching.
This is a hot spring hotel I'll definitely return to, and I highly recommend it to friends and family!
The service is in place, the dining is delicious, and the hot springs are very comfortable.

GGuest UserI checked into this hotel when I went to Legoland. It was cheap, so I didn't have high expectations, but I was very satisfied with it. I stayed with my family, and the room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was also delicious. The hot spring water was also great, so I enjoyed my morning bath. The hotel also has a wide range of amenities, so I would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserAn excellent hot spring hotel tucked away in a quiet village. Don’t let its secluded location mislead you though; access to the area is convenient and easy, whether you’re coming from western or eastern Japan. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The room was a lovely, traditional Japanese-style room with an excellent view of the adjacent stream and small valley. Perhaps most importantly, the hot springs themselves are just wonderful. The quality of the water is excellent and the tubs are comfortable and offer lovely views over the valley. Perhaps my favourite moment was soaking in the outdoor baths after dinner, under the gentle glow of the hanging lanterns, with the sound of the bubbling river below. Perfect! Would 100% stay again.

GGuest UserIf you look for a nice quiet place for a relaxing stay, this is a superb ryokan in the area that I would recommend.
The ryokan building is beautifully decorated, despite its age. I particularly appreciate the sincere service from the manager and hosts. You can rely on them to take care of your stay. They could also provide pick-up and drop-off service at Utsumi Station.
Dinner and breakfast were well-prepared with natural ingredients. Not only are they delicious but also presented nicely. The lobby also provides complimentary drinks and snacks - you can enjoy a little footbath there with a glass of whiskey and some nuts.
Of course you cannot miss the marvellous scenery of the beach.
The only downside is the public onsen bath was a little small. But in general we loved the stay.

SShikudeweixiaoThe hotel is impeccable, especially the hot spring on the first floor is very large and very good. Opposite the hotel is the largest park in Donghai, which is also very nice to visit, with beautiful cherry blossoms. There is a large 24-hour supermarket next to it, and there is also a drugstore. However, it costs 200rmb to take a taxi from the subway to here, and the bus is not convenient. The hotel has a free bus to the subway station, but the time is limited.
わわっかないIt's new, having only been built a few years ago, and is well-cleaned, so you can stay comfortably. You can read manga, eat ice cream, and drink lactobacillus drinks as much as you like - it's a great deal!
