Hotel Front Inn Fukuoka Airport
4.3/580 Reviews
I stayed in a hurry because the plane to Okinawa was canceled. The front desk seemed to be a foreign female staff member, but I was asked to explain carefully and check in smoothly. The tragic Japanese was also cute. It was only made in 2020 and has the latest equipment. Despite the single, there is a wall hanging 4K smart TV, and if you have a Netflix account, you can watch movies as much as you want. It may be because there were few guests, but the line speed was stable, and the image quality was high and I could see it without delay. In addition, indoor lighting and TV operation with the built-in tablet were also possible. I didn't use it much. 1F had a large communal bath and a laundry room, so I didn't bring a change of clothes, so I was saved. Due to the influence of Corona, breakfast was not a buffet but a type that I chose in advance at check-in, and I chose curry. It was a little spicy, my eyes were squeezed and it was a refreshing morning. By the way, I'm full with salad and soup. The only disappointment is that it is almost essential to move by taxi because it is on the east side of the airport and across the parking lot and the main street. It's not impossible to walk, but you can't reach it unless you make a very detour compared to a car. It was a very good hotel except for the location. I want to use it again in case of emergency.
Miyako Hotel Hakata

Hakata
Great location, just opposite Hakata Station (Chikushi exit - closer to Shinkansen platforms). B1 of hotel leads to link to the Fukuoka city Subway (airport line), which is just 2 stops away from Fukuoka airport (domestic airport, able to transfer by bus to international terminal). We took Taxi ride instead from airport to hotel (10-15min) for easier convenience as my mum is a senior and we had 2 large luggages. We stayed for 6 nights over 26 Feb - 3 Mar’24 where weather was still chilly, between 2-12C, we used the B1 link (simply take lift from hotel floor to B1) almost daily to get to Hakata station/shops/restaurants - very convenient and comfortable 🙂. Room is spacious with separate bathroom and toilet. There is also onsen on level 13 of the hotel (indoor n outdoor) for hotel guests to use for free. Can rent swimsuit from the staff for outdoor pool. The hotel offers only set breakfast - continental or japanese. It was delicious and staff are ready to assist with refills of drinks. Oh, there was also MacD on B1 and Starbucks on L1, and there is Lawsons just 1 min walk from Hotel. Recommend this hotel for its location convenience to explore the city and easy access to subway and shinkansen. Housekeeping done professionally, reception and restaurant staff are polite and ready to offer assistance. Happy to stay here for first trip to Fukuoka and will be glad to return again! 👍🏻
HOTEL WBF GRANDE HAKATA

Hakata
For those who dont mind a 10 min walk to Hakata Station its not bad. Public onsen was a plus for hubby. Too bad we did not use the open air private onsen in our room as weather was too cold for us but the shower massager was also a plus. Room is standard Japanese size which is smaller than International standard. Overall we have no major complaints. Front desk staff put in their best effort to communicate in English. Thumbs UP!
Hotel Vista Fukuoka Nakasu-Kawabata

I used this place on my first trip to Fukuoka. I imagined a business hotel, but I had a gift for my children, and I was able to spend fun with my children! The staff 々 was also pleasant with a smile and a very polite response. The facilities were beautiful. Breakfast is delicious with a pot and a crown prince. There is also a large bath, so my husband and son went to the large bath, and I was able to enter the bath in the room slowly. There is no toilet water in the amenities, so women bring it. And the pajamas in the room are made of chemical jersey dough. Like me, the sleeping roll is a cotton style.
Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk
4.2/5127 Reviews
Since extra beds are not available, we paid to upgrade to the family room type, which has two large and two small beds and four beds. There is also a living room space with an unparalleled wide sea view. Absolutely great value. If it weren't for the fact that I couldn't extend my stay, I would really like to stay here again. This should be the Hilton with the highest standards that I have stayed in besides the star hotel in Hollywood.

Yanagawa Hakuryuso
4.2/535 Reviews
Yanagawa is a peaceful and beautiful water town. This is an old-style hot spring hotel with older but clean facilities. Rich breakfast and attentive service. The hotel gives away a coupon of 1,000 yen per person, which can be used to participate in the river cruise activities organized by the hotel. Great!

Hotel Wing International Hakata Shinkansenguchi

Hakata
Excellent location, literally just a few minutes walk from Hakata station - it will be perfect if you’re coming to Fukuoka via Shinkansen. It’s also only a few stations only to Tenjin. The area is quiet and more low key if thats you’re thing, but you can find lots of eateries at the station and there’re are some really good restaurants near the hotel too. Rooms are small but enough especially if you’re a solo traveller, it’s very clean and quiet, and I enjoyed the public bath a lot - it’s clean too. They clean your room every 3 nights - I guess it’s a cost saving + eco thing, but overall v good value for money. I really liked the area!
Mercure Fukuoka Munakata Resort & Spa

A large hotel with a wedding hall. It's a little suburb, but there is Munakata Taisha, a popular roadside station nearby, and it's not inconvenient for shopping. The roadside station is closed on regular holidays, so you should check it out. On the upper floor, the room had a large space, and there were sofas and chairs 2. The refrigerator is empty so you can save your shopping. The pool is right underneath, and the sunset that sinks into the sea that you can see a little is wonderful and impressed! I had dinner at the Japanese restaurant on the 2nd floor, and I enjoyed the dishes devised with fresh fish. This hotel had a 2 floor with ”Genkai Onsen Satsuki” and a pamphlet with a hot spring and meal plan. Breakfast is on the 1 floor, but the wedding hall is also used so that it will not be crowded. i was able to eat. it was delicious. i want to go to the hotel again when i go shopping at the roadside station.
