GGuest UserThis onsen resort offers incredible value for money. The booking page didn't mention it all, but besides the buffet breakfast and dinner, each guest also receives a pass for unlimited re-entry to Nagashima Spaland theme park during their stay (rides require separate tickets). It also includes admission to Nabana no Sato for their illumination show (highly recommended, and the round-trip bus is free, but requires advance booking), and unlimited access to Nagashima Onsen (about a dozen large baths, open 5-8 AM and 10 AM-11 PM). On top of all that, there's the Mitsui Outlet Park, which is great for shopping. One night simply isn't enough; I highly recommend staying for two days.

GGuest UserThis was my favorite hotel of the trip. Everything was perfect, except for initially not knowing the shuttle bus stop and having to drag my luggage uphill. The shuttle runs every half hour; I even took photos for everyone's reference. **Regarding the Shuttle Bus:** Since we arrived by JR train, exiting the station puts you directly on the ground level. However, the shuttle stop is actually on the other side, opposite the regular bus terminal. It's easier to spot from the glass window on the second floor, near the service counter where desserts are sold. **Regarding Check-in:** Upon arrival, after registration, you'll be invited to relax in the lobby and enjoy complimentary cake and tea. They will then take your luggage to your room. The lobby is actually on the second floor, while the first floor houses the Pearl Powder Hot Spring, directly accessible by elevator. On the other side of the second floor is the restaurant, which also includes the teppanyaki section. If you wish to try teppanyaki, make sure to book in advance; on our visit, only the Japanese-style option was available, though it was quite delicious. The marshmallow roasting on the lawn is accessed by taking the stairs down from the restaurant area. The atmosphere is lovely, and tea is also served there. **Regarding the Room:** Our room overlooked the lawn and offered a great view. At night, make sure to draw both layers of curtains, as the room is quite visible from the lawn area. All toiletries in the room are from Mikimoto, and they're excellent. The hot spring area also provides them, and they are available for purchase at the lobby shop. **Regarding the Onsen (Hot Spring):** At the onsen entrance, there are vending machines selling milk and ice cream. I enjoy drinking a bottle after my bath; it's very refreshing. The other two flavors are coffee and lactic acid drink. The small lockers right inside the entrance are for shoes. The flat switch on the left can be pulled open to access your locker; remember to check the passcode before closing it. For those who might feel a bit shy, you can grab a small towel before changing. It can be used to cover yourself after undressing or placed on your head while bathing. I usually prefer to wash up in my room before coming down. **Regarding the Hotel (Choujotei):** I personally preferred the Japanese-style Choujotei building. Access to the hot springs is convenient there, and the Pearl Powder Hot Spring is truly sparkling and beautiful. The round pool within it has a slightly lower temperature, allowing for a longer soak. Between the two hotel shops (referring to the shops in Choujotei and the Western-style building), Choujotei's is more enjoyable to browse. The Western-style shop focuses more on pearls, while the Japanese-style Choujotei shop has a wide array of small souvenirs and trinkets, and also offers duty-free shopping. Dining and spa expenses incurred at the hotel can be charged to your room and settled upon check-out. The spa is for guests aged 18 and above; the service is excellent, and the essential oils smell wonderful. It's interesting to note that the staff in the Western-style area all wear suits, while those in the Japanese-style area wear kimonos. **One More Tip:** When waiting for the shuttle, make sure to be attentive and let the staff know you're waiting. Often, if there aren't many people and you're not directly by the door, or if you don't respond when they call, the shuttle might simply leave.

GGuest UserStayed at Suzuka Circuit Hotel during last weekend—pure racer’s dream! Rooms overlook the iconic track, with comfy beds and modern amenities. Breakfast buffet fueled us for the day, and the on-site spa melted away the roar’s afterglow. Staff were speedy and friendly, like a well-tuned pit crew. Minor nit: WiFi lagged during peak hours. Overall, 4.5/5—rev up for an unforgettable motorsport escape!

TTravelbugXOur stay at Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and impeccable hospitality that made us feel truly special. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality. If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

TTianjiaThe hotel is very overpriced for an old facility.  We booked an oceanview room but the windows are blocked with bars and can barely be opened.  Our room on the second floor could barely see the ocean.  Furniture and decoration scream OLD.   Most front desk workers are not Japanese.  They claim to have an ”international crew” but the problem is they don't know much about Japan.  When we asked the doorman about taking trains, he didn't have a crew because he just got to Japan from another Asian country.  On the other hand, the restaurants only have Japanese workers and no one speaks English.  We booked an 8-course dinner.  The chef was going around to explain the dishes to guests but just left us when he found out we don't speak Japanese.  The menu is in Japanese only.   This hotel also charged us at 135:1 foreign exchange rate while all other hotels charged 142-144:1 JPY-USD.  It's not a foreigner friendly hotel and way overpriced for what it is.

TtatuminThe hot spring, dinner, and breakfast were all very satisfying. The buffet-style dinner and breakfast, in particular, were incredibly luxurious with a wide variety of options that would appeal to all ages. Especially the seafood – sashimi, sushi, shrimp, scallops, squid, octopus – so much to choose from! There was also Matsusaka beef hot pot and stew, and a rich selection of fruits and desserts. During dinner, we experienced a minor incident, but we were incredibly impressed by the staff's quick response and thoughtfulness. Truly wonderful hospitality and consideration, and the reassuring feeling that staff in every position share information effectively! I am sincerely grateful. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to stay at Toba Seaside Hotel again.

らむあんこUpon arrival, they played a welcome drum. The room was nicely cleaned and we had a pleasant stay. There was a wide variety of dishes at dinner, more than we could eat, but since it was in our room, we were able to enjoy it at our leisure. The bath was lovely with a tatami floor. I was told that toothbrushes were charged, but this was not listed in the hotel details, so it would be nice if this was stated. It would also be helpful if amenities were placed so that only those who wanted them could choose them. There were two sets of towels and bath towels in the room, which were great to be able to use for bathing twice a day, at night and in the morning. The staff also gave us detailed explanations.

Sstarry_eyedThe hotel's scenery and service were both excellent. We booked a one-night stay with breakfast and dinner and were very satisfied with the food. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. We also enjoyed the bed-making service and shuttle service. The only regret was that the hotel didn't offer a luggage delivery package. If they could do so in the future, it would be our absolute choice for visiting Kashikojima.

GGuest UserThere should be relatively few tourists in Toba itself. It is inconvenient if the hotel is on the mountain without a car. It is estimated that there were less than 10 groups of guests staying that day. The small bath in the room is only for one person. The size of the bathtub is very small, and it looks like there is a period of time. No one is using the time

AAnonymous UserWe used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating. The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar.
