GGuest UserNicely situated in the centre of one of the two main streets in Yunotsu. I stayed in the bottom capsule which is much more spacious than the top capsule since you get space to put your belongings. Kitchen was equipped with basic condiments like soy sauce and cooking oil. There is a coin laundry facility in the adjoining building - 500 yen for wash and 100 yen per 10 mins of drying.
The only concern I had was with the check in process, which luckily for me I was informed about before by reading the reviews. Check in is at Kazeto, another hotel around 5 mins walk away from Watowa. This can be troublesome for guests arriving by foot as you’ll need to backtrack to Kazeto if mistakenly arriving at Watowa first. Staff at check in were helpful and friendly (English speaking) and provided ample information about the facilities and attractions in Yunotsu and surrounds.

- warm and friendly staff who could not speak much English but were very nice to explain to me the details of the hotel
- gorgeous garden where you could take a seat and enjoy the view
- free Japanese alcohol at 1500-1800 (soft drinks until 2100)
- impressive free Japanese cultural performance at 2110
- quick and positive response despite I made several urgent requests due to sudden plan change
- free shuttle bus service between JR station and hotel if you approached front desk for information
- the environment of the public bath was quite clean
- totally different food combination in dinner for 2 nights
Considering the price I paid for such service, I would say the quality is definitely beyond my expectation. :) Thank you every hotel staff who made my experience a better stay!!

RREI YSIt’s really a very good hotel. I didn’t expect anything from Shimagen, but from the beginning of landing at Izumo Airport, all the way to the hotel, I met very warm and friendly people. The staff of the bridge management were very enthusiastic and responsible. The design and facilities of the hotel can be said that I have lived in the top three in all Japanese hotels. The design is obviously very attentive, convenient and practical, not fancy, simple and generous, and the room is really clean. The hotel is on the right hand side of the station and the traffic is convenient. The reception staff at the front desk were not only enthusiastic and patient, but also specially printed the Chinese version of the hotel guide, moved, great praise! ! !

Arrived to find a hotel with a period, the receptionist in the evening was very friendly and enthusiastic, and the friendly smile was very patient to introduce the facilities in the store. When we entered the room, we had placed the tatami bedding for us. Although the facilities are slightly old, but the items and facilities are hygienic and tidy. Everyone sleeps very comfortably and the room is air-conditioned! And the large bath is in good size, an open-air bath, it must be good in winter, and you must come to soak and relax for two nights! The parking fee is only 300yen a night, very reasonable! 🙏 Very suitable for families!

出出差者It was a great experience, very much like a budget Japanese inn, with tatami floors throughout the building, a natural hot spring on the rooftop where you can soak in the hot spring and watch the stars and the night view, free massage chairs that were great, and a variety of free food.
The last entry for breakfast is at 9:00, so remember to get up early for breakfast. You need to queue up to enter at 7:00 on Saturday morning. I like the homemade seafood bowl and all-you-can-eat crabs the most. Every dish is very Japanese and the fruits are very sweet.
The hotel is affordable and I would like to stay in the same group of hotels again if I have the chance.

The single private room is super small with only a bed. Well, there is no problem with lying down and looking at your phone. It's a private room, but of course, you can hear the snoring in the next room, as well as the sound of opening the bag. It might be better to have an earphone.
However, there is an inner hot water, the location is good, and the price is sufficiently satisfactory.

YYoshioIt was delicious with only breakfast. I didn't have dinner, so I went to a nearby izakaya. The owner of the izakaya used to make banquets here better. I heard that I can't cook for some reason now. The inn itself was awarded by a travel agency and had a shield. Clean and good. The hot springs are also good. I thought it would be better if there was dinner. Iwami no Kata 々, who was present at the izakaya, was very friendly and fun.

I have to say that compared with the hotels of the same price I stayed in before, the service, hardware and garden view of Changleyuan are all first-class. The front desk staff are very warm and thoughtful. They will greet the guests from morning to night, remember the needs mentioned by each guest when checking in, and confirm whether they are satisfied at any time. In the morning, I suddenly wanted to go to Tamatsukuri Onsen Station, and the staff immediately drove me there. It rained on the way back at night, and I called the front desk, and they immediately sent a car to pick me up. There is a small imperial garden of a certain emperor in the hotel, which is much better than the scenery of similar hotels in the surrounding area. The most important thing is that the bathing environment is too good. There are many bath towels at the door, so you don’t need to bring bath towels from the room. The hot spring water temperature is very accurate, so you can soak for a longer time. Most hotels have open-air pools that are too hot and indoors that are too stuffy. You want to get out after soaking for a while, but there is no such concern here, which shows that the hotel really cares about the guest experience and hopes that the guests can enjoy comfort. Staying here is a good choice to go to Izumo Taisha and Adachi Museum of Art (it is also convenient to go to Matsue, but there is really nothing to see there). There are multiple shuttle buses to Tamatsukuri Onsen Station in the morning, afternoon and evening. In short, I like these lovely staff very much and will come back to stay again. In addition, there are no restaurants and convenience stores in Tamatsukuri Onsen Town. It all depends on the hotels to provide catering. GGuest UserIt takes about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to Izumo Taisha Shrine. Separated from Jiayun by a wall, there are residential buildings nearby and a convenience store diagonally across the road. The most convenient way to get to the station is the bus, but the frequency is infrequent. If you don't take the bus, you can walk 20 minutes to the tram stop on the commercial street. The facilities are very good and new. There are several hot springs. Except for private baths that have to wait, there are not many people bathing in public baths and they are very clean. The children eat several of the unlimited free ice cream every day. The soy sauce ramen served from 10 to 11 pm is very lively with people coming and going, so it is suitable to have a bowl before going to bed after soaking in the soup. There is a coffee machine on the first floor and hand-ground coffee in the room. There are no facilities around except convenience stores at night, and most of the restaurants in front of Izumo Taisha Shrine close at four or five o'clock. In addition to bathing in the hot springs, you can take a walk to the woods in front of Izumo Taisha Shrine in the evening. There are several small green frogs in the wash basin at the entrance of the Taisha Shrine.
