I received room upgrade. I could the see from my room. When I arrived at hotel, a staff welcomed me in front of the front door. All staff were very nice and the hotel was very clean. I was drizzling on my face and soaked in the hot spring water and enjoyed a healing time like heaven.
It's hard to review this hot spring inn. It's quite new, and the facilities are okay, but the wooden building creaks when the air conditioner is on on hot days. It creaked a few times in the middle of the night, preventing me from getting much sleep in the first half of the night, but that doesn't seem like a fixable problem.
As for the price, it's quite high for Tottori, but the food was mediocre. It was fresh, but dinner was overloaded with fish, accompanied by cold pumpkin soup. The fishy flavor was enhanced by the pumpkin soup, and the overall combination wasn't well thought out. Breakfast was even more shocking: a pile of pickles... no matter how beautiful the dishes, they were still pickles... and finally a small grilled fish. This is below average for inn dining.
The older waiters were generally quite helpful, but the younger ones weren't, and didn't greet each other very proactively.
I won't be going back.
Service - Excellent, friendly, and I loved the free use of the hot springs. The ocean is right in front. I love the spacious parking lot. Breakfast is decent, though some people may not like it. Unlimited Hongge 👍. The only downside is that the carpet smells a bit. And the power outlets are inconveniently located. I stayed on the 4th floor, and the ocean view is amazing.
My two nights here were a perfect escape. The room felt like a retreat into calm. I especially loved the private baths, quiet, serene, and easy to access.
What made the stay truly unforgettable was the kindness of the staff. From the afternoon tea with a Japanese sweet served in the room to their constant thoughtfulness and gentle smiles, every detail made me feel welcomed and cared for.
My stay here will remain one of the most memorable parts of my time in Japan.
A great variety of adorable yukata were available for us to choose from. After a relaxing soak in the onsen, it was truly splendid to quietly admire the garden. The service was also top-notch. The only slight letdown was the food; while plentiful, the seasoning wasn't quite there.
Facilities: The hotel has all the standard amenities, including an outdoor private onsen, and the room is very spacious with a sea view. The large outdoor bath also offers a breathtaking sea view, providing a truly refreshing experience. Don't miss out on the delicious Oyama milk from the vending machine.
Hygiene: The indoor areas are clean. Since there are many insects in summer, just remember to close the outdoor door promptly, and you'll be fine.
Environment: Located in Kaike Onsen village, it's a seaside hot spring with a white sand beach below. The sea water is clean, perfect for swimming, and kids can enjoy digging in the sand.
Service: The staff were incredibly thoughtful. As soon as they saw us from afar, they proactively ran over to greet us and helped with our luggage. On our departure day, they even arranged a car to take us to the station, despite it being only a 3-minute drive. They insisted on providing a dedicated car according to our schedule to protect us from the summer sun, which was very heartwarming. The welcome afternoon tea in the lobby offered a variety of drinks.
The breakfast and dinner truly deserve special praise. We booked a half-board plan, and the dinner was exquisite and delicious, featuring seasonal seafood like oysters and three different doneness levels of steak, all incredibly tasty. We enjoyed our meal while watching the sunset. Breakfast was amazing, a buffet with both Japanese and Western options, an incredible variety. There were so many desserts and ice creams that we couldn't even try them all, and everything tasted excellent. They even provided small trolleys to help us carry our food, which is a rare thoughtful touch I've encountered in the many onsen hotels I've stayed at.
During this 6-day trip to Tottori, the best hot spring hotel I stayed in was the Misasa Onsen in Kurayoshi ♨️~ Wancuilou. I booked a one-night-two-meals package. The hot spring is a special kind of hot spring that contains radium radioactive elements ♨️. It is said that it can cure various diseases, so it is very popular in Japan 👏! We booked a Takachiho Japanese-style room, which is very large and can accommodate more than 6 people! The hotel's dinner is very rich and looks like a work of art! It is a perfect combination of vision and taste buds! The hotel also provides free pick-up and drop-off service from Kurayoshi Station!
Building just minute away from Tottori Station! Very closed and I was happy to stay here!
There is breakfast for free and night drink. Room with bathtub and they provide iPhone/Android cable at room and it was point plus for us. They have alot amenities and Onsen (too bad I wasn’t tried it since we just arrived from Kinosaki) Staff not really good in English but they really supportive. Closed to Aeon as well and so far two thumbs from us and if I come again (definitely I’ll come back to Tottori) I will stay here again🫶🏼🫶🏼
The hotel is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from Tottori Station and a 5-minute taxi ride to Hokkaido Kaiten Sushi. It boasts a nice onsen (hot spring) and was very clean. Complimentary disposable amenities were readily available for guests. On the downside, the breakfast was quite disappointing – very basic with limited variety, and many items weren't restocked, which certainly didn't justify its price. Also, be aware that if you're staying with a child in the same room, there's an additional charge of 3000 JPY per night, and breakfast for the child is extra.
♨️ A Must-Go Onsen Experience in Yurihama! 🥩 This charming spot in Yurihama truly stands out, offering a memorable blend of great service, delicious food, and wonderful soaking. 👍 Highlights: Exceptional Service: The service here is truly top-notch. The staff's attentiveness significantly enhances the overall experience. Superb Cuisine: A major draw is the food, especially the great Tottori beef. It's a culinary highlight that shouldn't be missed. Wonderful Onsen (Hot Springs): The hot spring water itself is great—a perfect way to relax and unwind. Excellent Ambiance: The good weather contributed to a lovely overall atmosphere during the visit. 📝 Area for Consideration: Small Personal Onsen Size: While the onsen is excellent, the size of the personal onsen might feel a bit too small for some. ⭐ Overall Verdict: Despite the minor point about the personal bath size, this is unequivocally one of the great onsen in Yurihama and a must-go destination! The fantastic service and incredible Tottori beef make it highly recommendable.
A grand resort type hotel. Staying in a Japanese style room is cozy. Relax in onsen, lounge and massage chair. Also enjoy self grained coffee. Very good CP value.
good : bed sheets are good fabric i think. and also you can get different types of pillows extra. bad : laundry dryer machines are too small so need to use for 3 rounds at least.
One of our favourite onsen hotel stays during Tottori trip. The room is clean and very comfortable. The public onsen is quite large with different types of onsen baths with indoor and outdoor area. Fun dipping and relaxing in different pools. Man and women bath will swap between morning and evening, so we got to enjoy both. The washing area is clean and large, not only have the usual shampoo and body wash, there are facial wash, face scrub and foot scrub as well. Kaiseiki Dinner was fantastic and delicious. The service staff was very friendly and tried his best to explain the dishes in a mix of Japanese and a little bit of English. The shuttle bus service from Kurayoshi Station to the hotel make it very convenient.
Super nice and excellent hotel. Front desk staff greet me with a warm attitude, asking if I feel hungry, make me feel warm during a cold night. Every arrangement is the best, colour and style of room dinner and breakfast, onsen etc etc. Though the weather is bad with occasional rain and cold and windy, I still like the place and trip. Absolutely will come again!!
The hotel is just within walking distance from Tottori station and the room is spacious. Besides, they provide a wide variety of choices for breakfast. You can also read mangas provided by the hotek on second floor. Trust me, the mangas are just too many for you to read and there is free flow of coffee too.I sincerely recommend this hotel to whoever coming to Tottori.

This was truly the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Japan. The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful, and polite, making the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. They also provide a dedicated shuttle service to the bus station, which is very convenient. The breakfast was delightful, and of course, you can enjoy the authentic onsen experience here!
Location is good just nearby JR station, easy to reached. That’s some convenient store and restaurant around, also Aeon supermarket. Staff are nice and Japanese style breakfast included, also there’s free drink concern at the night time, that’s good for us!
