Hot Springs Hotels in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

"It was nice that it was near Hogye-dong, so there weren't many people. I didn't know there was a high-quality hotel in such a secluded spot. Thanks to you, I had a great experience. The location is a bit far from the station; from Beomgye Station, you have to take a bus for about 20 minutes. The facilities are good, but I'm not sure if it was due to the wood in the interior, but there was a slightly musty smell. I booked a room with a separate outdoor open-air bath called the Mankai Open-air Bath Room. On the morning of check-in, I was informed that since there is a possibility of being visible from the outside, I should wear a swimsuit when using the bath. Since I was already on a plane, I didn't have time to pack a swimsuit and just went straight into the room. It would have been better if this had been stated on the hotel reservation details page in advance. I do not recommend the Mankai Open-air Bath Room if you do not have a swimsuit. I paid extra money, but I couldn't use it because I didn't have one. There is no separate elevator, so I also do not recommend it for those with heavy luggage! Other than that, all the facilities were good. I recommend this to anyone who wants to briefly experience a taste of Japan, even indirectly, in a secluded spot in Anyang."

"I recently stayed at a charming Japanese hotel that completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, everything felt thoughtfully designed — clean lines, calming lighting, and that quiet, peaceful atmosphere Japan does so well. The room itself was compact but perfectly arranged, with every detail serving a purpose. The highlight, without question, was the massage chair. After long days of exploring, sinking into that chair felt like pure heaven. It was surprisingly high quality, with multiple settings that genuinely helped me relax and recharge. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Soft pajamas were provided, the bathroom was spotless, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. The staff were polite, efficient, and respectful of privacy, which made the stay even smoother. It’s one of those places where you can truly unwind without any distractions. That said, there was one… unusual moment. Around midnight, I woke up suddenly and noticed something in the window. For a brief second, it looked like a shadow forming into a red, skull-like shape, almost as if it was hovering just beyond the glass. It disappeared as quickly as I focused on it, leaving me unsure if I was dreaming or just disoriented from sleep. The stillness of the room afterward made it feel even more surreal. Despite that strange experience, it didn’t take away from the overall stay. If anything, it made the night oddly memorable. Between the incredible comfort, the relaxing massage chair, and the peaceful atmosphere, I would absolutely stay here again. A perfect experience with just a hint of mystery to keep things interesting."
