The Santa Holidays Village hotel is great for families. Be careful with the reservations you make on Trip, we reserved a chalet for 2 adults and 2 children, arriving for check-in we were told that Trip only reserved for two adults and therefore the children must be paid extra. It is not serious for TRIP not to communicate the true price upon reservation. This site lacks transparency (it just notes a remark saying that additional fees may be charged by the hotel for children without telling you how much and especially without telling you that they have only booked for two people). So the worst thing is to have a room that is not even suitable for a family. At Santa Claus we had to pay 30€/night per child (fortunately we had booked a chalet so it was big enough for 4). We had the same experience in another hotel over the same period (apukka resort) which charged us €100 per night per child in an igloo, fortunately the igloo allocated to us could accommodate 2 children otherwise we would have been without the possibility of accommodating 4 of us.

The hotel is not far from the Santa Claus Village and is easily accessible by walking (Just 10 min). First time staying in an Igloo and it is definitely worth the money. Room is small but clean and well-decorated. Breakfast has wide variety of selections. Staff is very friendly and she gave us an Igloo beside the forest which is isolated and quiet. Love waking up every morning lying on the bed enjoying the views of White Christmas Trees surrounding our room. The glass is installed with heater which can melt the frost anytime when needed. The only disappointed is that we didn't get to see Northern Lights for our 2 nights stay. Will definitely stay here again if back in Rovaniemi.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the centre, it's a basic hotel which is clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is more continental with 3 hot item available. The only downside to the hotel is their is no safe in the rooms so had to carry all personal items laptop, money, passport etc around with me all the time. The hotel did offer to put item in their own safe but decided against it. It didn't put me off staying here again and would return.

Nice place to stay with easy access to amenities and holiday activities. Breakfast spread is good and facilities are well upkeep. Room price is on the expensive side with limited availability. Due to the placement of the rooms, it might be challenging for some people, especially older folks, to move from reception to their rooms to carry their baggage. There are no WiFi, TV, fridge, or desk phone in certain rooms. Most likely a one-time experience to stay and that's about it.

In terms of cost performance, this hotel is considered to be very high among glass house hotels. It was a little hard to find. After the bus got off the bus, it was too difficult to drag the luggage in the snow. Later, I contacted the hotel reception to send a car at my own expense. You can book sleigh rides, snowmobiles, aurora chasing and other projects at the hotel. Overall is good!

The room offered sufficient space, the bathroom was clean and looked new. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a large variety of food and drinks. The sauna is also very recommandable. The location is central. There is a shopping mall just across the street, local and long distance bus stops are nearby. Personnel was very friendly and supportive.

The room in the East Village Glass House felt very clean, and the room was not big but adequate. I was worried that there would be no 24-hour front desk because I missed my train and arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock in the evening, but I was very surprised that there was one, and the service attitude was gentle and thoughtful; then I got lucky. While lying in bed and looking at the stars in the sky, the Aurora appeared. I watched the aurora for more than an hour. The sky kept changing. It was worth watching the aurora while lying down.

Check in was quick loved my room. Tub is awesome the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great lots of options. The temperature in room was a bit cold. I spoke with front desk she said there was extra heaters. I declined it was just odd to me that room had no operating heat.

The best hotel in the whole Nordic trip, although expensive. But the location is good, the room is large, the facilities are new, and the front desk service is good. The window sill view is good. A whole super praise It is recommended to try the hotel's sauna, the experience is good! recommend!

The hotel is very beautiful~ There is a window on the second floor of the room facing the forest, which is very photogenic. The room is very big. The family is very comfortable to stay~ The two elk are very cute and the children like it very much. The hotel has skateboards and the children have a lot of fun.

We stayed at Hawe Boutique for 4 nights. We booked into the Kota room which was ample for 2 people. I cannot recommend enough how we enjoyed staying here. The room has everything you need, a refrigerator full of food, milk, eggs, juice, meat, cheese, fruit, butter, jam/marmalade, chocolate, yoghurts and then cereal and bread, we unfortunately hardly touched it as we were out early and in late everyday. The bathroom has everything you will need, toothbrush/toothpaste, combs, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, shower caps, razer and cream, vanity pack, shoe polish!, hairdryer. The room was very clean with a comfy bed although the pillows were very soft. The only downside was that if you have an early flight you cannot get into your room until 4pm, storage downstairs for suitcases with key codes. Loved it here.

The Glass Igloo is small and not much space to open the luggage, however they have a very nice hot water shower which has around max. 25mins which you will be able to relax from whole day travel ☺️ . The location is not near airport, takes almost 40mins. shuttle bus from Santa Clause village to hotel. Though this location is really good for the chance of seeing Northern Lights ! We did ! Unluckily their ice bar and ice restaurant both under renovation and we don’t have chance to experience. That’s the downside of it.

Staffs are kind and good at English so I didn't have any difficulty of communication. I recommend to buy a spa included ticket and enjoy the Finnish sauna. For the foods, you have to pay for the dinner buffet but the quality is really good. It was worth every penny. There was nothing inconvenient at all. If I had to pick one, there were no amenities in the bathroom only except soap.

Very friendly and helpfull service, great location in the middle of Ivalo. And very comfy overall. We were allowed to check in over 2 h early after a very stressfull flight and check out a hour late without additional charge. The room was comfy and big with a great view. Breakfast could be better but the dinner was always great.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights early December as part of the TUI package to Lapland. On-route to the hotel we stopped off to get our winter gear. Transfer around 1hour 30mins. The resort of Luosto has a few hotels, ski slope, souvenir shops and reasonable priced supermarket. The average cost for a glass of wine and beer is £10+ . Room: Very spacious, we had a double bed and sofa bed in another room. Sauna was an added bonus. If you wanted any housekeeping you just had to ask at the front desk. We stored our snow gear in the ground floor heated room which was handy. Location: The hotel was just a 5 minute walk to the ski slope. As a family of 3 we all had a 45 minute lesson for around £130. This is where you can also sledge and go tubing this cost us 20 euros for as long as you liked. I highly recommend this it was so much fun. There is also a nice restaurant/bar here. Staff: I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff who were always helpful and friendly. Also small bar area and nice seats by the log fire. Restaurant: Lovely restaurant area and friendly staff. We were half board breakfast was a continental option with lots of choice including porridge. We were half board and the food was fresh and delicious. We didn’t have a choice it was just a set 3 course but luckily we are not fussy eaters. We were a bit disappointed that there was no children’s menu as there was no way my son would eat reindeer or fish soup. So we had a takeaway from a lovely restaurant just down the road called Puna Kettu. Here you could have lovely pizzas and fries. Trips: We had the taster sessions on the Saturday where you have a try of the reindeer ride, husky, snow mobile - I would say just around a few minutes but sometimes that is enough for the younger ones. This day was around -20 but lovely cabins to have a hot chocolate and warm up by the fire. When we went to see Santa this lasted under 60 seconds wasn’t personal and he looked very fake. So that aspect of it was very disappointing. We paid extra for the night snow mobile tour which was 3 hours. We stopped off in a hut half way through the journey to light a fire and to have berry juice. We are so glad we done the trip as we were so lucky to see the Northern Lights. We also paid for the husky ride which was 2 hours, this was a great trip again where you have the chance to meet the dogs and drive the sled. Again these were cold days around -20. On the return home we stopped off in Santa Village, lots of souvenir shops. I have rated the hotel a 4* due to there being no child menu at the hotel. I think they should offer fries at least as guests at the other hotels had a separate menu for children. We would love to return to Lapland but unfortunately it cost so much money. It was something we are so glad we experienced and created so many memories, such a beautiful and picturesque place. You will not be disappointed going to this hotel and it comes highly recommended. Perfect place to relax. We ate at the Aanaar - again, and it was amazing - again. Maybe the best menu ever here. The cocktails is best in the whole country. Customer servie was so polite and friendly for the whole stay. You have to experience this place!

Right next to the bus stop, there is no need to find a place after arriving, the lady boss will go out to greet him personally, and the store is very enthusiastic! You can see the aurora basically when you leave the room (if you are lucky), there is also a bonfire waiting for the aurora. The bonfire is on the river bank, there is no light pollution. There are also projects such as skiing, snowmobiling, husky sledding, but it’s a little more expensive than the Sarika’s. The breakfast is 10 euros for one person, a typical European breakfast, the portion is sufficient and the taste is not bad. The apartment where the four of us live is also a small wooden house. The sanitary conditions are very good, and the room is quiet and suitable for posing. All in all, I highly recommend staying here for two or three days. The chalet here is not worse than the glass house in Sarika!

The resort hotel in Surrey Hills has large rooms and a sauna, which is very convenient for your own operation. The balcony of the room was facing a small wood, and the scenery after the heavy snow was beautiful. In addition to Finnish and English, there are Japanese in the hotel. No wonder there are many Japanese tourists here, but most of them are middle-aged and elderly. After the Spring Festival, I made a lap in Lapland. There are only few Chinese in Surrey. The ski area here is also very empty, but the snow quality is first-rate.

It was a bit difficult to find at first because you had to check in at the supermarket, but the accommodation itself was clean and nice. The shared living room, shared bathroom, and toilet were also clean. When we stayed there, there were about 1 other person besides us (2 people), but we never ran into each other except when we left! The supermarket is close, and I heard that I could use the sled in front of the door, so I went on a sled. There are many buses and tour companies around Sariselka Holiday Club, so it's good to get the location benefits:) Overall, I'm very satisfied! You can also store your suitcase in the office next to the supermarket.
