Peacock Village Pinnawala - Offer Alert! Elephant Welfare Program

Staying in chalet in Peacock village was beautiful. If you hesitate to book chalet or container I really recommend to choose chalet. There are big rooms, clean and many space. You have a beautiful view on nature. Buffet breakfast are perfect, you can choose from Sri Lankan local food, eggs, waffles to fruits or dessert. During your staying you can use a swimming pool with beautiful view on elephants. Staff was very kind, friendly and helpful.

10/10 amazing experience. Staff were all so lovely!! especially Andrew the staff member there who went above and beyond for me and my family showing us around Pinnawala and going out of his way to get us Sri Lankin food to experience as well as taking us to the elephant orphanage/and taking us to a waterfall in the local town. Honestly a top bloke and couldn't recommend this place more! Cute tiny homes and very thoughtful staff who as I said went above and beyond. Thank you so much for everything we honestly appreciate it more then you guys know and you made our experience in Pinnawala worth while.

The host at Peacock village, set in beautiful tropical surroundings ( and a short walk to main hotel) where you can watch the elephants come down to the river and use all hotel facilities , ( including pool, restaurant and breakfast included in price ). The host Enula was adorable and cooked for us, the two nights we were there, bringing the meals to our room. The best curry , delicious. Thoroughly recommend - clean comfortable bed with cotton sheets , air con and peaceful surroundings .
