Hyatt Regency Cairo West Reviews

Decent hotel but not entirely sure that its 5-star rating is totally accurate from my experience. There was some construction work happening nearby so it was fairly noisy during the day. The hotel is situated in a modern area of Egypt with a number of high-end residential areas near by making travelling from one area to another quite aesthetic. The staff were nice and welcoming, however I did spend approximately 3mins ordering in-room dining for them to give me an incorrect order.

The apple juice served upon check-in was pretty good. The environment was good, Starbucks was cheap but a bit unpalatable haha. The bad thing was that the cleaning guy would come in and ask if you needed cleaning. 🙁 It is recommended to lock the room.

This Hyatt is the worst Hyatt I have ever stayed at. The hardware facilities are still good because it is newly built. Compared with five-star service and management, there is still a lot of room for improvement. The most intolerable thing is that the room provided to me was not a normal room. It's a room in a suite. The soundproofing is very poor, and there is only one door between us and the guests next to us. The sounds of their conversation and exchanges at night could be heard clearly. I only slept for two hours the day I stayed, it was too noisy! Look at the extra bed they arranged! Blankets and jackets are provided. You want to use it, hum! You have to put it in yourself. After negotiating with Ctrip, the quilt was delivered late at night. It was just a quilt. The quilt was a quilt and the jacket was a jacket. If you want to use it, you have to do it yourself. After showering, there would be so much water spilling out that I almost slipped! Because it is not a standard room, the shower they provide allows guests to take a shower in the bathtub, and the water flows outside to the floor. I have to praise Ctrip's service here. It's really good. If there are any problems, they can actively negotiate and resolve them. I have used Booking and agoda when traveling abroad before. But when encountering problems, Ctrip is the one who can seriously solve them. There are many varieties of breakfast, but it doesn't feel delicious. There is a Starbucks in the hotel, but I feel that the taste is better than that in China. The waiter at the front desk is really not very patient with Chinese people. I speak Arabic English with a strong accent and very fast.

We have not encountered any so-called discrimination against Chinese people. The front desk and other restaurant staff are very welcoming. The room has a little smell, but it's acceptable. Not far from the pyramids.

The most satisfying hotel on this trip to Africa! First-class environment and super cost-effective. He is super enthusiastic about Chinese people and I feel goodwill and heartfelt welcome. The hotel is in a good location. It is located in the New District, not far from the pyramids. You can overlook the pyramids from a distance, which is convenient for planning your trip to the pyramids the next day. The facilities are new, the rooms are clean and modern. Very quiet too. It's really important to stay here for one night after a long flight There are several restaurants, all of which have a high-end environment. I highly recommend this restaurant to friends who come to Cairo.

I was upgraded to a room, and the guy at the front desk was very helpful. Seeing that I was in a bad mood, he highly recommended me to eat green apples 😂

It stands out among the old hotels in Cairo that are over 50 years old. It was noisy at the construction site for the first time. After waiting for a long time, I changed to a room next to the swimming pool and it was quiet. It is close to the Pyramid of Khufu and next to the Mega Mall, which contains Carrefour and many restaurants. Basically, you can eat comfortably for 800 Egyptian pounds. Take an Uber to the airport for 300 Egyptian pounds, and take an Uber to the Egyptian Museum for 200 Egyptian pounds.

The hotel is very new, the overall design is very modern, the scenery is beautiful, the hotel staff are very professional and enthusiastic, and try their best to meet the needs of the guests. I have stayed in the worst hotel with the worst attitude and even discrimination in history. A Hyatt in Egypt can do it. The Chinese at the front desk don’t even seem to owe them money. The restaurant even asked us where is China, and then joked that he is also China and then said where is China? i cant find it, where? Say it five or six times? I have never encountered such a stench in Europe, and all the front desks are awesome. It was the first time I asked for a bottle of mineral water when I left the store. I opened my mouth and asked for five dollars at the front desk. I said show me the menu, and immediately said one dollar! This is Hyatt? I was given the worst room on the first day of check-in. There was no balcony. After arguing several times, I changed to the room type I had booked.

A very satisfying night!
