The little fishing village of A can get submerged by day-trippers from the Bodo ferry but although the simple Hamna Rorbuer cabins are right in the heart of the village (don't get them confused with others of a similar name!) their individual wooden decks overlooking the water ensure a measure of quiet and privacy that is to be savoured. Our cabin had a delightful, simple living-room/kitchen, with a remarkably well equipped galley kitchen and a dining table right by the window, and a separate bedroom with plenty of light and comfy beds, and a very adequate bathroom. There are no real dining possibilities in A, and the village shop has limited supplies, so arriving visitors may need to bear this in mind. But it's a minor inconvenience compared with the delightful surroundings.
